The owner, JD Justice and his brother arrived promptly, actually before I arrived from closing on the new home. They were the first contractors to initiate work on our newly purchased home. They assessed the garage floor and got down to business. The typically sweltering august Dallas heat did not deter them. After doing extensive prep work scraping and leveling out the floor, they initiated the multi-layer process of producing the final beautiful and so very practical by-product. I believe that JD's words when I opened the door to see the finish product was "I have added a new room to your home" and he was so right. When I decided to do this project my husband said, "tell me again why you are doing this!" and when he saw the "garage suite" after it was completed, he laughed and said, "now I know why you wanted to do this". . ." forget the cars, I am using this as a workout room"! (his new man cave) I feel very confident in referring JD's Custom Garage Works for many reasons not the least of which is a wonderful product and services provided by two extremely professional and organized gentlemen. In the last few days, I have shown the "new garage room" to many vendors and friends who have come by and they all wanted JD's cards. So I believe the product sells itself. He arrived on time, performed the work in a timely fashion, did a great job of cleanup, and we were extremely pleased with the finished product. He also gave me very precise instructions regarding care of the floor. The only issue I had was a couple of additional charges which we were not in agreement with. The installation was excellent. The quality and attention to detail was outstanding. Communications prior to the work and after have been super. The entire experience was one of the best I have ever had.

Custom Garage Works turned my garage into a true custom addition to my home. I have had the garages at my previous home done and thought it was good work until I compared them with the work JD did. When we bought our house we had toclean, repair, refinish and paint the garage walls and baseboards. We then brought in JD who finished the floor and raised concrete by rolling the finish up and under the baseboards so perfectly that the baseboards were not touched - the finished product looked seamless. All of the chips. cracks and rough spots were gone. JD totally left me with a totally clean garage "drive-in ready". and looking brand new! I could not have asked for more.

I couldn't be happier with JD and his product. He said what he'd do, he did it, on-time and on-budget. No surprises or disappointments. JD is great to work with, and the garage floor looks fantastic and feels incredibly durable. Time will tell, but I'm EXTREMELY confidant in the product and JD's warranty of his work.

I could not be more pleased on the results and overall experience from day one with JD and his brother. I have always wanted a show quality epoxy floor for my garage but have never done it and after the glowing reviews I found on Angie's list I decided to have JD from Custom Garage Works do the work. We contacted JD a week before we were to relocate to Dallas, and he managed to adjust his schedule, and was able to complete our garage in one day, and it was ready for our move-in. The garage floor had been previously painted, and required diamond grinding to get up 40 years of paint, dirt, and leaks. The garage looks brand new, and keeping it clean is extra easy. During the project day, we were out-of-state, and JD kept us updated, even sending pictures of his progress. I would highly recommend JD for his professionalism, promptness, and the finished product is great. I wish we had done this in the past 13 homes!

JD and his crew showed up in the morning and got started preparing the concrete floor of the garage. This included grinding the entire surface with a diamond-plate grinder and filling in small little chips and cracks with some kind of substance (I have no idea what it was). Then they put out the epoxy floor and all the flecks. I'm writing this review a year after receiving the floor because I just want to let everyone know that it still looks like its was put in yesterday (plus a little dust here and there). It's super easy to clean, I've spilled all kinds of crap on it and it comes right up, nothing stains it. The spots I get the most are from the car dripping condensed water from the air conditioner, those dry up and leave white spots but they come right up with regular cleaner. My wife thought I was stupid to pay so much for a garage floor but a couple of days after it was put in and we started walking on it she loved it. You can walk barefoot out there no problem, feels way better than concrete and easier to keep clean. Doesn't feel like you are walking in a dungeon or a dirt road like every other garage. They did a great job and if I buy another house they'll be putting the floor in there as well.

Parker Brothers were great! They arrived on time, worked quickly and we could not be happier with the results. They even cleaned an addtional chair for no extra charge! Will use again and will recommend to everyone.

Absolutely wonderful experience. JD was punctual, knowledgeable, and did great work. He also had great suggestions with regard to painting and baseboard. He did not try to oversell us on anything and offered great advice on what we could do ourselves. From a customer service perspective, they were phenomenal and I would not hesitate to recommend Custom Garage Works in the future.

Emailed JD back last week, he called me the same day to discuss what I was emailing him about. Very nice gentleman and he estimated that it would be $400-$450 for a 2.5 car garage to get diamond grinded. I am looking to DIY my garage floor with Epoxy and wanted to ensure I had it etched the best way possible. JD put me on his calendar for a few business days later. He was here on time, and went right to work. The two men worked for about 1.5 hours, which was a bit quicker then what he had estimated. It was a job well done and he also gave me advice on how he would ensure I put down the best Epoxy floor possible, given my particular floor. Very much appreciated that. I would highly recommend them.

I hired Custom Garage Works to do a custom epoxy garage floor in our new custom home. The results are outstanding! We went with the black and silver heavy chip pattern with a total of 4 layers of epoxy and a clear coat. It looks and feels amazing and very easy to keep clean. The business process was very simple, they provided an accurate estimate, showed up as scheduled and completed the work on time. I had a new house built in March of 2013 and had JD give me a quote before I closed on the house. A few weeks after we moved in I sent JD an email and gave him the go ahead to coat my garage floor. My new garage is 20' x 29' and I have always wanted a garage with an epoxy coated floor. I absolutely love it! The garage stays so clean now and the shine is amazing. It is quite an investment but one that should last the life of the house and in my opinion is well worth every penny. If you are in the market for an epoxy coating on your garage floor then give JD a call, you will not be disappointed :)

JD came out and gave me a quote, got quotes from other companies and researched all the approaches and products being used. Custom Garage Works uses a better product and offers a limited lifetime warranty. Day one, they came out prepped floor by stripping thin layer of concrete, patching holes, bull nose edges, laying out product and distributing flakes. Day two, finish up with sealing and scrape. It cured in a day and looks absolutely fantastic! I also like the fact JD does the quote and actually does the work himself which is rare these days. I would highly recommend the company and would use for future garage projects.

They did a fantastic job.1 Very competitive with other companies. We really appreciated them moving the really heavy items for us. They did a beautiful job. Not only did they do a great job, they are very nice people. They were also very prompt. When JD said he would be here at 8:30, he was here at 8:30. We highly recommend them.

I wanted to do a garage makeover from top to bottom. I started with the floor and found Custom Garage Works through Angie's List. They have a high rating and good reviews. I checked out their web site first. It is very informative, with pictures and samples of their floor coverings. JD was very responsive to my call for a quote and came to my house on the same day of my call. The job was actually started earlier than originally scheduled. It took two days to complete the project. They were able to take my old stained and paint-cracked garage floor and turn it into a beautiful new epoxy floor. It is a perfect base for my garage makeover. JD even offered wall painting techniques to highlight the new floor, which I am trying. This is one project that met my highest expectations.

J.D. was very responsive, and quickly set an appointment to meet me at the new house for an estimate. He really knows his stuff, and he's good at what he does. We met at the house, and within a few minutes he had given me the estimate, and described the process as well as the results I could expect. Initially I had a little bit of sticker shock, so I didn't schedule on the spot. $2,788 seemed like a lot compared to $1,650 for epoxy, so I took a couple of days to think about it. My conclusion was that paying $2,788 to professionals who do this every single day with a produce that is virtually indestructible would be much smarter than paying $1,650 to people who would probably do the same quanlity job that I would do with a product that might not last over a couple of years. So I called J.D. Closing on the house was scheduled for Febuary 19, so work was scheduled to start that day! I didn't want to move a thing into my new garage until the floor was finished! On February 19, J.D. and Daniel showed up perfectly on time to start the project. They filled in all the imperfections in the concrete to assure the floor was perfectly smooth, and slightly bullnosed the edge you drive over when you enter the garages. After they sanded the surface for maximum adherance, they applied the coat with the color as well as the "spinkles." I choose Saddle Tan. They did the entire 3-car garage floor as well as the various stem walls and steps which lead into the house. Within 4 or 5 hours they were finished for Day 1. They returned 24 hours laster on February 20 to apply the final clear coat. Again, they were right on time. Parting instructions were that I could walk on it the next day (Feb. 21,) and drive on it the day after that (Feb. 22.) Everything worked out perfectly, and the results were as described. Totally dry to walk on the following day, and cars were on it the day after that with no problems. I LOVE MY GARAGE FLOORS! I have this beautiful, NEW house, but the first thing I want to show people is the garage floor! It's so bright, shiny, and perfect! I'm glad I used Custom Garage Works. I'd do it again, and recommend their work to you. I'm conisdering having them come back to add some overhead storage shelving. You couldn't hope for nicer guys who do exactly what they say they're going to do.

JD and his staff were fabulous! They turned my dusty concrete garage into a ballroom dance floor! Any and all cracks and uneven surfaces were filled in, leveled out and the final product looks like a granite countertop. JD suggested that 6 foot stainless cabinets would fit perfectly in my small 2 car garage and solve my storage issues. The cabinets also had locking wheels and could be moved or rearranged when needed. I am extremely happy and will highly recommend this company to any homeowner and/or business owner wanting to refinish and organize their garage area.
