Went as expected

Our trees and shrubs had been neglected for years and were very overgrown. We had hacked the the pear tree ourselves (what we could reach) because it drops inedible fruit and makes a mess. Carlos and his crew did a great job on all the trimming, shaping the trees and shrubs into nice shapes, even the butchered pear. The yard is no longer a series of obstacles during mowing, and the living room receives more light. All the debris was collected and removed. We received an Angie's List discount. Carlos was a pleasure to work with, very professional. We recommend him.

Once again, I am extremely pleased with the services of this company. Carlos is quick to respond to an inquiry and offer the best solution(s). It amazes me what his crew in able to accomplish in very short order. Not only do they do a wonderful job; their clean-up is about the best I've seen from any contractor! They are definitely my company of choice for tree services and landscaping, and will most certainly use them in the future!

Things went great! The night I found them on Angie's list I emailed out for 3 bids, Carlos immediately responded via email that night and was very prompt with his response, following up by calling, and a very prompt arrival for estimate. Everything was very professional, courteous, prompt, and the price was GREAT!

We have many, many trees, and half a dozen were removed so we found Carlos's price to be quite fair! Carlos was friendly and professional, and he and his crew worked hard all day to get a big job done!

After receiving a consultation and estimate, we agreed to the tree trimming service. The work was performed as agreed, our trees look fantastic, and our yard was cleaned so thoroughly that you'd hardly know tree work was done earlier in the day. While tree trimming services are expensive, we are so pleased with the final result. We have alot of trees in our yard and are sure we'll be calling on Complete Tree again in the future. This provider is fully insured, and seems to use appropriate safety measures. That means greater peace of mind for the homeowner!

Carlos came and gave us an estimate for the services we were wanting on 4/28/09. He said his crew would be at our house by 9:00am on 4/29/09. They were right on time even a few minutes early!!! The trees in our front yard were trimmed/pruned just like we asked. The Bradford Pear tree in our backyard as removed as we requested. Overall, I would rate this company an A+! After completion of the job, which was more than I thought, you couldn't even tell they were there! They cleaned and removed all debris. The crew was extremely nice and courteous. They are worth their weight in gold. We definitely would use and recommend to others Complete Tree Service! Thanks for a job well done!!!

He and his workmen appeared on time for the tree trimming, trimmed the trees and removed the stump of another tree at no charge. They did a good job of cleaning up. The sod work had to be postponed a week due to rain. Carlos and his crew arrived early yesterday morning to replace the sod, he and his men worked hard all day almost until dark. They tilled and raked up the old grass and loosened the soil, then leveled it out and placed the new sod. We were very pleased with the work. One of our neighbors had he and his men trim a tree in their yard after they finished ours, so that shows that they do good work. Carlos is conscientious and reliable. We hope to be able to have him back in the fall to redo our flower beds.

They offered same day service that more than met our expectations. Carlos was very knowledgeable and efficient. They worked quickly and did exactly what they said they would do. Clean up was exemplary.

They made the best of a bad situation. I would very much recomend them and will use them again if the need arises.

I called Carlos one day; we made an appointment for an estimate the following day. Based on the exemplary reports on Angie's list, I wanted to speak with him first. As it happened, I was so impressed by his professionalism and knowledge that I didn't bother to obtain any other estimates. I felt his quote was very reasonable. The very next day the work was completed. The only "glitch" that occured was when Carlos and his crew were detained by an accident on the freeway. Once here, the crew worked quickly and diligently and cleaned up exceptionally well. The accolades this company has received are well deserved - I will definitely recommend them!

Carlos was great to work with. He responded to my phone calls quickly, and he was extremely professional. He came to my home and provided me with an estimate within a few days of the initial phone call, and performed the work exactly when he said he would. His team was also friendly and professional.

Came out a week before gave me an estimate. Was on time, cleaned up and did a great job.

I contacted 3 Angie's List contractors to get estimates. Complete Tree Service was the first to respond. At first, Carlos quoted me a price of $445, which was 10% off for being an Angie's List member. The next day, he sent me an email dropping the price to $395. He contacted me almost daily asking if there was a good time to schedule the work. I had to put him off until I received the other estimates. As it turned out, the other 2 estimates were lower, so I asked Carlos if he would match the lowest offer, and he agree to do that. We scheduled the work for a Saturday (which guaranteed I would be home). They arrived when scheduled, did a very good job that I am pleased with, left me some of the larger cut pieces as firewood (which I requested), and removed all the cuttings. My trees look great.

I emailed Carlos a photo of the tree I wanted to remove and he was able to provide an estimate on how much it would cost. We setup a time for them to come out. On the scheduled day, Carlos called and said his previous job was taking a bit longer and that they would be running a little late. I appreciated the fact that Carlos called and let me know. Once they arrived the service was terrific and they did a good job.

I called Carlos and he was available to give a quote almost immediately. They also were available to do the work that same week.

A very large job, we both thought could be completed in three full days. I knew at the start of the third day he would need more time, and I was okay with it.

We had a tree in our back yard that badly needed to be trimmed. We contacted Carlos at Complete Tree Service through Angie?s list, based on the reputation he has. Carlos came out, we pointed out what we needed done, he carefully and thoughtfully looked over the tree, and asked some questions, to make clear precisely what we wanted done. We also showed him the shrub stumps in the front of the house we wanted dug up. He gave us an estimate that we thought was very reasonable. We set an appointment for him to bring out his crew on the following Friday, at 9:00AM. On the appointed day, Carlos and his assistant arrived a half hour early- (Not a problem, I would rather have someone a bit early, than late.) We had asked them to separate the burnable wood, and brush into piles form that which was green. All day long, they worked on the tree, and did all we expected, and more. His assistant also took care of the stumps we wanted dug out. He got them out in nothing flat. By a bit after 5, they had finished. We looked at the pile of brush that was left (per our request!) It was a lot more than we had bargained for. Therefore, we talked to Carlos about our options. He told us he could come back the next afternoon, with a man and a wood chipper, and remove the majority of it (We wanted some for our fireplace) There was a charge for him to come back but it was nominal. They showed up on schedule and took care of the brush. At the end of both days, they cleaned up the yard by raking the loose twigs and disposed of them. Carlos Torres is a very dependable, professional, and Punctual. This gentleman is a contractor with integrity, which is sadly lacking in so many service people these days. It was refreshing to deal with him.

Carlos and his crew arrived on time and did what I believe to be an excellent job. He seems to have a good knowledge of the trees and how to help them grow well in the future. His crew was here most of the day taking care of the four large trees and the clutter in the yard. They left the whole yard looking much better than it was when they arrived. I will be using them again.

They were prompt. Worked all day and finished the job in 1 day. They did a very good job with clean up with the amount of tree work we had done. The did exactly what we asked of them.

They were on time or called when it would appeared that they could not be. It took them the better part of the day just to take down what was left of the 50-foot silver maple. The next day they ground out the stump, clean up the area. I would for sure use them again.

I called Complete Tree Service and they were able to visit my home and provide a quote that day. The price was very reasonable and the work was great. They completed the work in less than two hours, cleaned up the front and back yard and hauled away the trees and trimmings. I would highly recommend Complete Tree Service.

The work was done swiftly. All debris was removed and/or piled for city pick up. We had three services come out and bid. Owner, Carlos Torres, was the only one who kept calling asking for the business. We put him off for about a month and ended up changing the amount of work to be done. We also asked if he would help us with a storage building (with 'tree house' built on top). We wanted the top half (tree house/open portion) cut with the roof in tack; remove the 2.5 feet of beam-columns, then, lowered the roof onto the storage building. A lot out of their realm of work. But after speaking with my husband and working out a game plan, Carlos agreed to do it. They set up pulleys on all four corners of the roof and had 7 or 8 men cutting, guiding and lowering the roof onto the storage unit below. There were smiles all around when they finished that piece of the work.
