Mr. Torres, the owner,gave a very detailed explanation of what he planned to do and answered all questions, when he came for the estimate. His crew was prompt and worked very hard.( He came by and checked on their work.) When the work was finished, they cleaned up all material and hauled away for recycling. None went to a land fill. A neighbor stopped to comment on how well it looked and asked for the name of the company. Another neighbor also complimented the yard's appearance. We are very pleased.

Carlos, the owner, came by (he was not late or anything), and gave me a good consultation. He described what needed to be done in great detail but in layman's terms. We thought the price was high and got another 2nd opinion from another service. They were much cheaper, but we could tell from thier consultation we would get what we paid for. We called Carlos back and he came the next day. They did a great job. We were very pleased and glad we spent the extra money.

They were great. They were very prompt, very thorough and responded quickly to the phone call. I have recommended them to a lot of people and they have used Complete Tree Service.

I have an old [1961], very small house on a std sized interior lot, but the one benefit it has is the mature trees. They provide protection from storms as well as from extreme heat and cold [N. TX's only two seasons]. The only downside is that those huge old trees are poorly placed, obviously from day one, or rather from the neighborhood tract house development 48 years ago. So after all those decades the trees have grown to where it would take 3 adults to join hands to encircle the circumference of even one of those old trees. Blessings to be sure, but when they need grooming or taming, it is a tedious chore at best; a dangerous one at its worst. Fortunately the trees, especially the one overhanging my roof as well as my neighbor to the west -- and even slightly over the property to my neighbor to the east -- just needed a little pruning of its small dead branches, and cutting back the larger branches that were nearly resting on the south facing half of the roof. I saw this as a prudent task to hire done, and to be completed soon, as to gamble with the weather through another winter would not be wise. Those trees and I have survived several ice storms over the past 30+ years, and the collateral damage that can be done by heavy and brittle ice-laden tree limbs is significant. To minimize damage to my own property as well as those of my neighbors, I contacted several tree services from Angie's List to start the process. Carlos at Complete Tree Service was the only one of 4 numbers I called and left messages for a return call who actually called me, and promptly and arranged to come out right away in person to assess the tree needs and provide an estimate. I think it a good practice to at least get a couple of comparison bids so as to feel that most folks are on the same page and are viewing the task with similar feedback. However, Carlos was the only one to do as he said he would, so he got the job. The other contractors either did not return my calls at all, or if they did, took more than 48 hours to even return my call, so they might have been great but did not show sufficient [and professional] interest to respond promptly, even if it had been to leave me a voice-mail to say 'thanks but we're too busy', or 'no thanks, we don't do work in "your" part of town' [typical responses I've received over the years] either of which would have taken no more than 30 seconds to dial, speak, and hang up. Therefore they did not get the opportunity; from me anyway. Indeed Carlos arrived as promised to review the tree needs, and we came to an agreement as to which tasks were mandatory for safety and security; the others could wait until spring for the more cosmetic tasks. Unfortunately Texas rains kept the crew from being able to start right away, but they did arrive and completed what we had discussed. There was not a lot of debris left for me to pick up after they left, and Carlos provides a chipper to mulch the trimmings rather than pile them at the curb for city service pickup, which would have been fine with me but does take several days to get hauled away, so it was pleasant to see the openness of the thinned out trees, but without mountains of branches strewn for 50 feet along the curb from sidewalk to street. From estimate to completion Carlos stayed in communication beyond expectation to keep me informed as to when they thought they could start, but then would have to reschedule due to the rains, and I did not want them working on my roof or even on the ground in unsafe conditions. So they waited for a day that was still wetter than I would have had them arrive, but they started and completed in less than a couple of hours. Carlos returned a few days later to finish a small area on the streetside tree that had been overlooked and I appreciated him tending to the details that we had discussed. I only wish that finances were not so difficult, or I'd have agreed for them to work on the entire property and get it back to a really neat, trim, presentable state. That will have to wait and be done in increments. But Carlos is understanding and agreed to break the work down into two sessions as I could better afford, over time.

Carlos, the owner, was great! He was very prompt and did a great job of working with our schedules. He was great at making sure everything was done in a timely manner. They did a nice job of cleaning up after themselves as well.

I rec'd an estimate within a very short period after contacting the company. Carlos did a great job of communicating the price and the schedule, including some delays due to rain. I would recommend this company.

I was very pleased that they took special care not to damage any of our pool equipment. They were safe safe while they were out to grind the stump down. I would use them again in the future.

Carlos was very responsive and knowledgeable. Everything was done promptly and in a quality manner. His price -- though not a huge bargain -- was fair for the work involved. I will use him again in the future.

Everything went well. I had called for an estimate late and after hours and Carlos returned my call by 9:30 the next day. He went to my house and called me later the same day with an estimate. His price turned out to be quite reasonable and less than other estimates I got. I called him back after I had gotten the other estimates and he met me on Saturday to walk through the job and finalize the contact. He was a little later than he had expected to be and because of that he gave me a discounted price to remove the hackberry. His crew arrived on Monday morning and completed the job before 4 that afternoon. My trees look great and he cleaned off the roof where the pecan had dropped some branches.

Carlos responded to my inquiring phone call very quickly. He had an estimate for me within 24 hours and 24 hours after that, the work was complete! His crew was fast and curtious. Everything was completely cleaned up before they drove away. I had compliments from the neighbors on the "new look" before the day was out. Carlos made sure I was comfortable with the watering plan for the tree (as it was in the middle of a multiple 100 degree day span) before he left so I felt very comfortable with knowing my new tree would be well taken care of!

I had called another vendor (who had previously removed a large dead pine tree) on Friday and had received no response by Monday mid-day, at which time I signed up for Angie's List and called 4 vendors on it. Carlos called back in an hour and was by to do the estimate in 3 hours. The others didn't respond until Monday evening to schedule an estimate - by this time, I had committed to Complete Tree Service, as they were able to schedule the work for the next morning. They showed up at 7:30, as promised, worked non-stop for about 4 hours and completed all of the work - the pruning involved working on the roof and over the swimming pool. They did a few extra things and left the work area extremely clean. This was one of the most rewarding home improvement experiences I've had.

The overall experience was excellent. I called and got an immediate response-estimate and then work completed the same day. It was a high level professional experience.

I called to get an estimate on having a tree removed that had lost a limb about a month before.The trunk was splintered so the tree would not survive. Carlos Torres came by the Friday I contacted him and had the estimate ready for me within a few hours. He was able to send his crew out the next business day, Monday. They arrived promptlyand were done within a couple of hours. Carlos came with them to supervise and then left after the tree was down and the grinding was started. He had his men remove the cut wood at no extra charge. The stump was ground down well into the ground and the debris swept into the hole. The yard was left pristine.

Carlos and his crew was very professional and thorough. They removed the tree and grinded the stump without damaging the fence or any water/gas pipes. All debris was thoroughly cleaned up and hauled away afterward. I would highly recommend Complete Tree Service to anyone.

Excellent! We received a letter from the city on the Friday before a holiday weekend that we had until the following Wednesday to bring our treelines up to city compliance parameters (aka, certain clearance above sidewalks and roadways). I contacted Carlos via e-mail on Saturday, the 4th of July. He responded on Sunday, and he arrived at my house on Monday morning to provide a quote for services. We agreed to the terms (which were very reasonable), and his crew had completed the work before the end of the day. I was extremely pleased - Carlos was very knowledgeable about where and how to cut the trees to minimize any distress and to prohibit future growth problems. They were prompt, courteous, and professional and did an amazing job.

Carlos was an answer to prayer. I had 4 Crepe Myrtles and 6 Hawthorne plants that needed to be planted, asap! I called The Complete Tree Service from Angie's List after 5 PM on Tuesday, and Carlos and crew were here the next day to complete the work! Their professionalism and talent was impressive! They had to start from scratch to dig, design, and prepare a flower bed. Carlos answered all of my questions; met me at the store for me to select additional plants, and decide on the right metal edging. When it was time to set the plants in the ground, Carlos was a perfectionist in turning or in adjusting each plant to its best position in the flower bed. His thoroughness and care for my project was outstanding! I am totally delighted with the results. Many, many thanks! Icing on the cake: My hedges and shrubs in the front yard look better than they have ever looked, after they were clipped and trimmed. Also, my daughter had questions about some issues in her own yard, and Carlos was able to follow her and address her concerns. All in all it was an exceptional day for my family. After two weeks the trees and grass look great. My neighbor contracted with Complete Tree Service to do the same tree work as well.

They scheduled me within 1 day. They delivered everything that they promised. The clean-up was immaculate!

The overall jobs was excellent. The Pine trees were very tall and I was afraid of breakage onto the roof. They did an excellent job not damaging the roof and everything was cleaned up when I returned home.

Carlos and his team did a fantastic job; I'd give them an A+ if I could. Carlos is very polite and professional; he returned my initial call promply and arrived at my house for the estimate exactly when he said he would. After spending a few minutes surveying my trees and discussing my requirements he quoted me a very fair price for the work. The next day he and his team were at my house right on time. They did a fantantastic job trimming the two large trees in the back and five other smaller trees around the house, and when they were done they cleaned everything up perfectly. I would highly recommend Carlos and his team if you have any tree trimming needs.

Carlos is very professional and punctual. He came out, explained everything and gave estimate for the work. Their estimate was not the lowest I got. But I think in general you get what you pay for. They did a great job. They did a particularly good job on pruning a Bradford Pear. They also do a great job of cleaning up after.

I found this company to replace another company that I had been using and was trying to schedule someservice. I finally gave up, but in the meantime we had had a major storm come through and tree service companies were fully booked. Carlos was up front with me and told me they would be happy to bid the work, but would probably not be able to actually do the trimming for a couple of weeks. I told him that was fine, I just wanted to get on the list. Within a week, Carlos had come by the house, looked over the work and called me with a bid. He included everything I had asked, plus gave me some recommendations on some other trimming that would be beneficial to the trees themselves. I gave him the go ahead which prompted a probable schedule for work of 4 days from then. Because of a cancellation, Carlos and his crew were able to move me up and within 48 hours, the work was scheduled and completed. They did everything they said, plus a couple of things they missed in the estimate but noted at the last minute, yet did not change the price. I was extremely pleased.

They arrived a little earlier than indicated and were unable to complete the job in one day as estimated. The cost estimate was based on one day, but they never asked for more money. The tree had large branches hanging over the roof of our house and they were very careful about protecting the house.

I called and they came out the same day to do the estimate and the next day the were at my house right on time and everything looks great!

Very responsive. I e-mailed him on a Sat. He was at the house on Mon. morning with the estimate. I agreed to it and he did the work immediately. He clearly knows his business, very customer service oriented. I have recommended him to several of my friends........and will site him as a reliable service contractor on our Homeowners' Association group message forum.
