From the beginning Carlos and Complete Tree Services was right for us. He speaks with such ease and a knowledge that can only come with time and experience. I explained in great detail that the tree wasn't doing well at all and we were afraid to lose it. (a sad condition left by previous home owners - they killed 3 other trees before selling home) We expressed strong hopes of saving the tree and trying to return it to health. We were falsely told by others the tree should be topped off, but Carlos insisted that was bad as all the life and new growth was in the top of the tree and this "incorrect method" does more harm than good. Carlos could not make promises, but spoke with great confidence that all steps taken would increase the chances of this tree thriving. In total, there were 5 men working on the tree itself. 2 on the ground with pole saws. 1 in the tree suspended by a rope making specific cuts up high. 1 attaching addt'l ropes to large branches to ease their fall once cut so as not to gouge holes in our yard. 1 clearing away debris as is landed. And Carlos - overseeing and guiding them all in a very coordinated effort. The way this team all worked together was incredible to watch. (from a safe distance so to not be in the way) It was like observing a bunch of martial arts tree surgeons in action. As good as some action movies I've seen. All in all I cannot say enough good things about how well I feel Carlos treated our tree, our problem and us. The tree seems to be doing very well and enjoying its new thinner look in all the high winds lately..

We called for an estimate and it took about 5 days (including weekend). Carlos was very professional and talked us through the process and showed us what his crew would be doing. The estimate a little higher than the others we had estimate the project, However, we had the best feeling with him. In addition, he did not charge us for hauling away stuff and threw in a few cleanup spots. He told us it would take an entire day to get the work done because it was so labor intense. The crew showed up around 9:00AM on a Friday and got to work once Carlos showed them what we wanted done. The crew worked hard and did an excellent job trimming the trees. The made nice clean cuts and even fixed some bad cuts from the previous work done by someone else. It took the crew until 1:30 to complete the work but that was without lunch being taken by the crew. They cleaned up and raked up the yard and hauled everything away. Overall, we were very happy. The only downside is I planned to put this on Visa but Carlos asked if we could pay by check instead. The crfedit card was a debit card so it was not a big deal, but I do not like writing checks.

It was a pretty good experience. The original evaluation was postponed due to the recent tornado / damage in the area and the service appointment was delayed due to weather on the day the service was supposed to have been performed. Obviously, neither of those delays were the fault of Complete Tree Service, but it still might shade my overall evaluation. Without much background in terms of the price of tree trimming service, $765 feels a bit high (thus the "B" rating on price). In terms of the service, our yard looks much better. My only question / concern is that the juniper trees on either side of the walkway are not even close to trimmed evenly. Again, without being an expert, perhaps that was the trimming necessary to remove all of the dead elements, but it does look odd.

First, they came out and provided a free estimate. They spent time talking with us about the type of tree, care, risk issues and how to maintain them. They estimated the removal and how it would work. They asked about dates and times convenient for our schedule. Second, they removed our 20ft tree that had died. They were early for their appointment! The process was very professional when dismantling the tree. They shredded the tree on the spot. When finished, we asked if they could cut it lower to the ground. They dug out some dirt from around the tree to cut another couple inches to be flush with the rest of the lawn. The process took less than 30 minutes. There was virtually no sawdust or mess left in the yard.

Carlos called ahead and made sure I was @ home and on schedule . However his price was way beyond what I had actually expected . I found another local guy who actually not only took care of my trees , but did a whole lot of other yard work ( Flower bed , cleanup , rearranging of existing bushes etc and haul away ) for 1/2 the discounted price that Carlos proposed . I am totally happy with this local contractor and have recomended him to a bunch of friends who are happy ...

Carlos responded quickly and provided a thorough explanation of what needed to be done to reduce the damage to the old tree. He also removed the debris and hauled the limbs away at no cost to me. Would recommend to others.

Excellent work! This was a difficult tree to remove because of its close proximity to our house and the fact that it was a very, very windy day. They were VERY careful not to damage existing landscaping and their cleanup of our yard and driveway/curb area was superb!

Contacted via website provided on Angie's List. Received call following business day (request was put in over weekend). They contacted me as requested and coordinated a to meet for an estimate. Within one hour of visit to my property I was called and give a detailed description of the work to be performed and an estimate. Because the estimate fell under my anticipated budget I was able to get some additional work completed as well. On the day of service the crew showed up early!! Withing 4.5 hours and a slight rain delay all work was completed and the site was clean. There were a few limbs I was still concerned about and I called the project lead, Carlos who met me once again and sent the crew back to address my concerns. Never have I been this satisfied with work performed on my property. You owe it to your self to consider this company for tree service and removal.

Company was very prompt coming to the house and surveying the job. I was emailed and estimate in a couple days. They were out to do the job the same day I accepted the etimate. Workers were there all day, did a great job, and cleaned up as though no one had been there. Very professional and I highly recommend them.

I called for a quote and Carlos was very punctional in contacting me to set up a date. On our agreed day, Carlos called in advance to let me know what time he would arrive and he was on time. Very professional and explained what the job would entail and he provided a quote. To my surprise, the crew could do the job the same day. The crew showed up in a few hours and did a great job trimming back branches, etc. Clean up was done very well, couldn't tell they were even here. Overall, a great experience and highly recommend the company.

Carlos Torres came out to do the estimate. I felt he was going further than I wanted re how much to take off the trees. His price ($567 after discount and taxes) came in as the highest of three that I got (almost twice as high as the next closest bid). I decided to use the company that was middle of the road in terms of work to perform and price to do it.

Carlos described each tree needed to be trimmed a certain way. He is very knowledgeable and very detailed in what services he will provide. The work was performed as described in the bid and handled in a very professional manner from start to finish! I will definitely use this company again and highly recommend!

From the time Carlos came to my house to look at my tree and give an estimate of the work that he would do until the work was finished, the team from Complete Tree Services was honest, upfront, ontime, friendly and informative. I was extremely pleased with the outcome, my tree looks better, the yard will now get some sun and I've gotten many complements on the job from neighbors. I will be recommending this company to anybody who needs tree work done.

ALTHOUGH THE COMPANY WAS NOT ABLE TO DO WHAT I ASKED FOR, THEY WERE VERY HONEST AND UP FRONT WIITH THIS INFORMATION. I THANK THEM FOR BEING SO HONEST. VERY REFRESHING IN THIS DAY AND AGE.

We had them remove a dead tree stump and the surrounding dirt and then replace it with a new tree we had them acquired for us. I waited to submit a review until the spring to see that the new tree was fine: and it is flourishing! Everything was well done, quick and easy and the new tree is exactly what we wanted. He provided advice as to placement of the new tree and some other tips which were really helpful.

Great. I will continue to use and recommend Carlos for years to come.

I initially contacted Carlos in mid-to-late November, but was not able to follow through on this project until late February. In the interim, Carlos called me three or four times just to ask if there were any questions I had about his bid or if I had already had the work done. In some instances, this sort of follow-up by someone I had called about a bid would have seemed annoying to me, but Carlos was totally professional in that contact and was always courteous and didn't seem like he was being pushy....more like he was wanting to stay in touch in case there were problems that needed to be addressed related to his bid and to let me know that he was still interested in my business. He was always very understanding when I told him that I was just not in a position to deal with the tree work at that moment but was still interested. When I finally was ready to get the work done, I called him first. Incidentally, I had contacted 4 people for bids. Carlos' bid was the highest until I got a last minute bid that was substantially higher. So his bid ended up being the high-middle bid. The reason I went with Carlos is that he seemed knowledgeable and trustworthy and professional, and his bid seemed fair. Since it had been awhile since he gave me the bid (and I had changed the scope of the work slightly) he came back out and we walked around talking about what was to be done. He recalculated his bid to accommodate the new items, and he answered my questions about how he went about ensuring the safety of his workers and our property. He agreed to email me a scanned copy of his certificate of liability insurance (and he followed through). We set the date. That morning he had two crews with him. They worked all day. It was impressive watching them climb the trees and control the branches with ropes so that no damage to the house or surrounding vegetation occurred. Several people in the neighborhood stopped to watch, and he even picked up a couple of quick jobs at the end of that day and an additional full day's work the following weekend from neighbors who could see that he and his men knew what they were doing and did it well. Everything went very well. We are very pleased with the results, especially now that the trees are leafing out and we can see how much better they look and how much more sunlight our lawn will get this spring. I would not hesitate to call him again when we need additional tree work done. He is a courteous, pleasant, and professional person who takes care of business the right way.

We are happy with them, they did a beautiful job. It was completely clean after they were done. It looks great and they did exactly what they said they would do. They are extremely good. The guy who originally came out knows what the trees need and told us exactly how we should best trim them for the best of the trees. We are absolutely, completely satisfied.

The company sent a crew of three to take down a very large tree in a small patio. They were able to do so without any damage.

I contacted Complete Trre Service through email. Carlos returned my call at the time I said I would be available. We discussed what type of work I wanted done. We then scheduled a time for the following day for him to come out to review thew work and give me an estimate. Carlos arrived as scheduled. After a very detailed explanation of what work they would perform Carlos provided me with a verbal price followed up with a written invoice emailed to me later that evening. I scheduled the work to take place for the following week. His crews showed up on time and got to work. They took their time to ensure the work was being performed properly and safely as many limbs were hanging over the house and the neighbors carport. The trees look better then they ever have and they did a great job on cleaning the yard up.

I called for an estimate and got an answer from a woman who took basic information that was forwarded to Carlos. He called me back within a couple hours and arranged to do an estimate 2 days later. We discussed the work I wanted done and he gave me an immediate verbal price which was confirmed in writing that afternoon. The confirmation indicated he could do the work 3 days later. I had a pecan tree removed and the stump ground and had two other pecan trees trimmed. The work was done the afternoon it was scheduled and it was done proficiently and entirely to my satisfaction. The price was a little higher than another estimate but I felt more comfortable that Carlos knew what needed to be done; he was very knowledgeable and professional. I would use Complete Tree Services again without hesitation.

Carlos arrived on time to discuss the work that would be required to trim the five trees. We discussed each tree separately, and he used a laser pointer to show me which limbs he thought should be removed. He sent me an estimate of the cost of the work via e-mail that same afternoon. His two-man crew arrived on time, and Carlos arrived shortly afterward to discuss the work with the crew. The crew completed the trimming in about 3 hours, and cleared all of the branches from the yard. The yard was left very clean.
