We got a 1/2 price Angie's List deal for this company and were very pleased. The company was very good about returning calls to set up our quote and to actually perform the service. I was a little worried that our coupon would not cover the whole project we wanted completed because the coupon did not state a $ per hour or an estimated size of project that could be completed, but the coupon did end up covering the whole thing. Our tree looks great and they cleaned up thoroughly after they were finished.

Service provider arrived about 30 minutes after 1 hour window given but they did work efficiently once on site. Office communicated well, calling in advance about soon to expire Angie's deal that I had purchased earlier. Would use service provider again.

Overall the men were very professional and did their job without disturbing us once we explained what we want. Received receipt for work done.

A good job was done on the tree trimming. They cleaned up all of the debris so I was happy with that. The only part of the service I am not happy about is related to the charges. One of the reasons I went with this company is that they offered a 10% coupon on Angie's list. I recall when they were here and we were discussing what I'd like to have done and then asked what the charges would be to trim the three trees, Carlos gave me a quote and told me he had applied a discount. While I didn't ask for a discount, I obviously didn't say "don't discount me". All that as fine, I received my invoice last Saturday and called the company today asking them to apply the 10% coupon as indicated on Angie's list. The lady in the office said the coupon could not be used because the invoice indicated a discount had been given on the service. I feel deceived in that I consider the price for the service was intentionally increased with a "discount" indicated so that I could not use my coupon. FALSE ADVERTISING is what I consider happened and I will not be using this company again due to unethical practices.

They got the job done and did their job well.

this was an Angie's list coupon deal ; since there is such a demand for this program, work had to be scheduled about three weeks after I bought, which was fine with me; the service came on time and performed their work very competently and professionally; I also asked them for a price on a large oak which was dead and near the house; as it turned out, I decided not to have this done by them, which worked out for the best (they wanted about $700 for the tree, which was quoted as a discounted due to the other work; later I had another Angie's list provider do this tree, alone, for $200 less); Complete Tree Service did very good work; however, the left about three inches of stumps above the ground, which was more than the second service did, and they also left caution tape that had been tied to the trees on my lawn

All I had to do was tie a ribbon on the tree I wanted removed - I did not have to worry about scheduling time from work for the initial estimate. Carlos (the owner) suggested that besides removing the one tree that I have two other trees trimmed as they were hanging on the house - I knew this to be the case as well....he gave me a very fair estimate. His team showed up (which again I did not have to be home for nor did I have to pay in advance) completed all the work better than I had expected. The clean up was amazing - wish my regular yard people cleaned so well......a week after the job was done I received an invoice for payment. What a trusting sole!!!!

Carlos was scheduled to come out a week after I called. But the office called and said that he could come out the following day to do the estimate. After he completed his estimate he called and described to me in detail what his team was going to do for my two tree's in my front yard . I was pleased with his report and his offer to remove a tree stump that I had dug up in my back yard. Very professional, sincere and reasonable price. I definitely recommend his services.

A bit difficult to schedule due to recent storms, but service was excellent.

Carlos and his staff were all very professional and extremely informative. From start to finish they worked carefully and very methodically. Yard and street were both raked and swept clean. I would definitely recommend them to anyone needing tree removal/trimming service.

He was very professional and thorough and came on time. However, his proposal came back almost three times the amount as the provider that I selected. It took me a few calls to let them know they were three times the amount, and he just said "it must be different services, I can't do it for that price" although it was the same service. I asked him what he could do for $400, and he said nothing, that I needed to get my money back from the Angie's List coupon I purchased. It seemed like he just wanted a bigger job that was more money.

They did exactly what I asked, and the tree looks great. Once they had finished they invited me out to look at the tree, and I asked them to remove another branch, even though all of their equipment was already packed up. The man I spoke with said, "no problem" and took care of it.The entire process took about a week and a half, from when I first called to when they could come out and survey the tree, and then come out and perform the service. They were punctual and courteous, and I'd recommend them to others.

Bought an Angie's List advertised Deal. I knew they would be booked up and it did take a few weeks for them to come do the estimate. Carlos was very professional and knowledgable and we agreed on what needed to be done in the trimming. It was then scheduled for about 3 weeks later. There was a scheduling mishap and I was not contacted about it until two days before the work was to be done. I had set this day aside for the tree trimming, cancelling other opportunities, so I wasn't very pleased. We compromised and the work was done the day after it had been originally scheduled. The workers were careful about all my landscaping and I appreciated that. They put black fabric down over the especially delicate shrubs and flowers. The tree looks good, the shape is nice, and everything was cleaned up and put thru the chipper. I asked that they use the blower to clean out the guttering in case any small debris had landed there and they were very willing and nice about it. Nice crew.

It took awhile for them to be able to accomodate me. I used them because they had a special on Angies List. The special was $199.00 to trim the tree. My only concern is that I believed that they used the "special" in order to tell me that I needed more work than the $199 would cover. The project cost me $500. Not sure that I will respond to the "specials" again. It was misleading.

I bought $400 worth of tree services for $200 on a Big Deal from Complete Tree Service on Angie's List. I knew it wouldn't cover my project. I had my trees "done" about four years ago, so I had an idea of what it would cost, which I didn't share with Carlos. His quote was right in line with my previous project, allowing for a little inflation. Since it is spring in Texas, my appointment was a moving target. Rain and wind are safety hazards for the tree crews. Once the weather calmed down, and an opening came available, Carlos called, and the tree crew arrived. They are proficient and agreeable, as is Carlos. My trees look great, and my yard was left with no debris. I couldn't be happier the entire experience. The cost above reflects the $200 discount.

We had an oversized tree stump (3-4 ft long and 2 ft across), which I had cut down to ground level. I called Complete Tree Services in early March 2012. Within an hour after calling Carlos returned my call and we set up an appointment to give and estimate for the grinding the stump. Carlos was extremely punctual, arriving ten minutes early. Very courteous. He gave me a verbal estimate which I accepted. The next day he emailed the estimate. I responded in the affirmative and gave information about payment methods. We set a date for the service, which was about two weeks in the future (he was very busy.) A week later he called to ask if it would be convenient for his crew to come over and do the job. Within an hour his efficient crew was here. They set up, ground the stump, and cleaned up in an hour. I was extremely satisifed with the efficiency and work ethic of Complete Tree Services.

They arrived promptly at 9 AM. There were 6 trees that were removed and @ 8 trees that needed trimming. In addition the removed trees had their stumps removed also. Overall it took @ 7 hours to complete the job. They were very professional and left the property better looking than when they arrived. Even the clean up after the job was superb. My tree trimming needs will be taken care of by this company. Just a fine experience from the estimate of the job through to the actual job.

Carlos came out first to look over the job and see what work was to be done. We discussed in detail each tree and agreed upon a course of action. He followed up with an estimate. I had purchased one of Angie's Specials which Carlos applied to the overall total. We scheduled a date convenient. Trimmers showed up on time, professional, kind. They worked literally all day on my trees. They cleaned up all trimmings and left no brush. Followed with a rake and blow of all concrete surfaces. I would definitely recommend Complete Tree Service to anyone and will keep their name and number should I need any services in the future. Thanks Angie's List!!

We purchased a "deal" thru Angies List for $199.95 for $400 worth of tree work. Punctuality with the company was very good to get the expected work (removal of the 2 small trees) evaluated. After speaking with Carlos, it seemed the upsale had begun with him recommending 2 trees be thinned out and the "canopy raised". After negotiating on the pricing, we aggreed to have the 2 small trees removed and the larger trees thinned out. My wife stayed home to be there while the work was done. When I came home I was impressed with the larger tree in the front looking much better and the areas around the small trees looked fine as well. The main issue was with the 2nd large tree. I was shocked to see that it had been, in my opinion, drastically trimmed. We love our back yard shade and our birds and now there are no lower branches for our feeders. No use crying over spilled milk as the branches cannot be replaced. I learned my lesson that I should have been there. The other issues were branches still on the roof and my front flag pole holder was knocked out of the brick apparently when trmming the front tree.

They did an awesome job, extremley fast and cleaned the area can't tell shrubs were ever there. Good job once again........

I called Complete Tree Service after I received an email coupon from Angie's List ($199 for $400 worth of tree service). Although it was a Saturday, I left a message which they returned promptly. The woman to whom I spoke was very professional and polite. However, she said that they would not give me an estimate until AFTER I purchased the coupon! Really!!!??? They want me to commit to a $199 purchase before I know how much they're going to charge? Sorry, I can't do that.

When we bought our house, there was a tree that was planted in our side yard, too close to the house (less than 2 feet away from the foundation). It had damaged a window screen and rubbed against the siding. It leaned heavily in one direction and presented a concern to me because of the damage it could have cause to our foundation, the house, the fence and our neighbor's home. We also had a 2nd smaller tree that was too close to the fence and was growing under a live oak. The tree really had no chance and also needed to be removed. I called Complete Tree Services and arranged an estimate. Carlos came out, was professional and very knowledgeable. He provided an estimate, explained completely, in terms I could understand, how they were going to remove the trees and arranged a time for the removal. As long as they were going to perform these services, I also asked them to trim two other large trees in our yard. They arrived on time and quickly and efficiently removed the trees and disposed of them. I'm very pleased with the professionalism and punctuality of Complete Tree Services and would use them again.

I called Complete Tree service and spoke to Carlos. Carlos was very friendly and professional. He came to my properties to give suggestions for trimming trees and repairing a wood fence panel. Carlos was very knowledgeable and easy to talk to. When time came for estimate I had sticker shock, we bargained back and forth, each time the estimate was lowered so were the services I needed done. After two days of haggling we settled on a price. The hassle of getting to that figure was overwhelming and frankly very time consuming. The work was done as scheduled, I asked him to return to remove a missed branch and he did promptly. I have had him back again for another estimate, once again the price was too high. I tried to negotiate again and had flashbacks of last fall. I terminated the conversation and over the next two days I was sent many text messages wanting to get my business. I went with another company for half the price and more work accomplished than expected.

Overall it went very well. I would recommend them to anyone looking for tree services.
