Great customer service from the minute I contacted them. They did the job in a quick and efficient manner and left my yard as clean as before they started. Would definitely recommend them!

Perfect. Carlos and his crew were very nice. His crew was on time. They worked quickly and safely. Put up big boards at the windows to protect them. Chain Saws, Axes, tree mulcher and Stump Grinder were used. Everyone had gloves, hard hats, back protection and face protection. I was very pleased with how careful they were, both with personal safety and the protection of my home. Used hand axes to get out the roots when it was too close to the house or sidewalk. Excellent work. It was great having people to do quality work that I physically could not do at a price that was very reasonable.

Carlos was very professional. He kept me fully informed as their arrival was delayed due. This is the second time that I have used Complete Tree Service and if the need arises in the future, I will call him first. His crew, the same men as before, are all very polite and pay very close attention to detail and when they finish a job, the area is probably cleaner than it was before they arrived. I have used another service in the past and while it was cheaper, it did not involve the level of service provided by Carlos/Complete Tree Services.

We were getting complaints by the city for our huge tree and the branches that were hanging over the sidewalk. They were very polite on the phone and called to confirm the morning of the work. I was scheduled in very fast. They did a great job. They raised the canopy a whole lot so you can really see the yard now and the stump removal spot was done well. They totally cleaned everything up and carted it away and I could not even tell when I came home that there was a mess there earlier. A little more pricey than I would have liked but you get what you pay for. Great service! thanks.

Carlos provided a bid to cut down two dead trees with no stump removal requested. His price was $1800 after a $200 Angies discount. Maybe he has enough business and didn't need mine but that price was ridiculous. I called 2 other companies and they came the next day with bids of $395 and $460. I got the job done by one of these insured companies for a reasonable price and done within 48 hrs of the bid. Not sure how to rate since I didnt have him do the work. This company has a significant number of A ratings but I felt it important to share my less than positive experience.

Complete tree service came recommended by my brother who was happy with the job they did for him. The quote, which was a little over 5k after taxes, seemed high. You can compare quotes and always go with a lower bidder but most of my decision was based on the recommendation from my brother and from the reviews here on Anigie's List. I felt that the service I received was stellar. One item that is imporant for a company cutting trees near your house and your neighboors house is insurance. I asked for and was provided their insurance. They are insured up to 2 million dollars in the event that they damaged my property. Imagine if you hired someone who was uninsured who hurt theriselve, your house, or your neighboors house. I am told that many companies who, when asked, cannot provide this basic thing. In the ends, I can see where some of the money went as of the equipment that they had - chipper, saws, stump grinder, ropes, ladders, all of their stuff seemed new. The employees seemed happy and taken care of as well (unhappy employees = crappy work) Most of all, my yard that has about 27 trees, less one large oak and 3 smaller oaks, looks terrific. I would use Complete Tree Service again.

They did an excellant job. There was one item that was missed and they returned within the hour to complete the job to our satisfaction. The yard was cleaned up afterward and they all worked in a professional manner. I will definitely call them back if the need arises.

Carlos was VERY professional when he came out to give us a quote. I was impressed with his knowledge and kindness - he was thorough but efficient. The crew that came out to do the job was amazing! They climbed up into the trees like it was nothing! Our trees look MUCH better. They're balanced and they knew just what to cut off and what to leave on. We will definitely be using them again when the time comes.

First off, Complete Tree Service got right back to me to set up an estimate. I left a message on Sunday, they called me back Monday by 8:30 AM. Setting up the estimate appointment took a couple of back-and-forths. At each stage an expectation of how long it would take to get back to me was set and met. I like that. The estimate was done two days later on Wednesday and Carlos said they could do the job starting Thursday--as in, the next day, Thursday. The price was a little higher than other bids, but the timeliness of Carlos' bid as well as his assurance that they would clear everything away tipped the scales. Carlos said the crew would be there by 10 AM; Mario and the boys showed up at 9:45 AM and got to work. I was impressed by how the crew worked. They were safe, careful, and considerate. It was big trucks, ropes, chainsaws, and heavy equipment in my backyard and it all went smoothly. At the end of the first day, the bigger tree was down and serious inroads had been made on the smaller. The little tree that had been growing next to the bigger tree had been successfully preserved and the mercury lamp fixture that had been attached to the bigger tree had been safely removed. Day two the utility locator lady showed up before the crew and marked the utilities. The crew showed up at 10 AM and by 3:30 PM my yard was free of two dead trees, my yard and driveway were clean, the power lines were unencumbered, and I was pleased. These guys did a great job. I would not hesitate to call them again.

The work was fine. They came out and did a good job. I asked them to literally go out on a limb to trim a few limbs and branches for me. There were five trees that needed trimmed. As it got later in the day and the sun started going down, they cleaned up and headed home. The next day I saw that there were a few limbs that weren’t properly attended to. I called them about it, and they came out the next day and fixed all the problems. The full deal was a bit more expensive than I expected, but they were at least responsive. They were fine letting me pay half right away and half the next month. I can’t recall if I got a written estimate ahead of time; this may have been my fault for not asking for one, and they did do exactly what I asked after fixing the problem. Still, I wasn’t expecting to pay so much for this work. They were good, nice, guys, and we got along well. The sticker shock caught me off guard, though. Because of that I would probably look around elsewhere before hiring them again.

The company returned to my call and came for the free estimate promptly. The price is about $15 lower than another company's price. The tree was trimmed and the yard cleaned as scheduled. I am happy with the professionalism. I was not home when the work was done. When I got home I felt the tree was trimmed too much. But this may be my personal preference. I should have been home to watch. After a week or two, the tree looks a little better. Overall I am fairly happy with this company. I would not have a problem using this company again.

A huge limb came down from a tree in my front yard and I needed it cleaned up right away. I also needed someone to look at the tree and let me know if the rest of it was salvageable or needed to come down. I left VM messages for three companies. Carlos from Complete Tree Services was one of two people that called me back. The other company said they couldn?t come out until the following week. Carlos was able to provide me with a loose estimate based on the photos I sent him via text and promised to go out to my house that afternoon to review the damage in person. That was at 11:00am. By 2:00 he was able to get to my house from Dallas and provide me with an updated estimate. (good news, the price didn?t change!) He also gave me some very helpful advice on the other trees to prevent the same thing from happening. I agreed to the quote and he had a crew out there the same day to perform the work. They ended up having to remove the tree, grind the stump, and had to lift the canopy on another one of my trees to prevent the same thing from happening on that tree. Everything was completed by 5:30pm. They left the yard in great shape and did an excellent job cleaning up. I am extremely impressed with the quick response, timely communication, the price to complete the entire job, and the clean up they did before they left. I will definitely call them again perform all my tree maintenance. They were very fair and professional.

Carlos and his crew were polite, punctual, and careful (with one exception) in the removal of a dying tree in my yard. The one exception was that they refueled their chainsaws on my new architectural concrete patio and left some kind of gas or oil stain behind that none of the cleaners I've tried can remove. When I mentioned it to Carlos, he first denied that any of the fuels they use would stain concrete. He then asked how I knew the stain was from his crew (I was standing right there when it happened) and then asked me to send him photos of it so he could look at it. I would expect that professionals would know better than to refuel their tools where they could leave stains and failing that, they would clean them up without giving the customer the runaround. It is especially strange to me since they were so polite and careful in other respects.

I contacted the company and was told that that they could not give me an estimate for at least 3 weeks. When I tried to schedule it for a day I could be there they were not flexible. They told me when they would be there. Either take it or leave it. About 4 weeks later I received word that they had an estimate for me and wanted to discuss it with me. I could not be home when they wanted to be there again. I had them leave it for me. After receiving the estimate they demanded an answer within 5 days. I found this offensive, that they would try to hold me to higher standards than they hold themselves. I found their attitude and actions very unprofessional, and would never recommend them to anyone.

While he was not hired, he did provide a timely quote, and was very polite and professional during the follow up.

Perfect work. This is the second time that I use Carlos Torres, at Complete Tree Services Inc., who is articulate and a decent person. Both times Carlos negotiated a good price and his crew was all around excellent in terms of the work. The canopy on many trees around the property looks great and the grass has started to grow much stronger and green. I do recommend Carlos and his crew to anyone that needs tree trimming and sod work. They also completed a few water draining boxes and that work has performed well over the couple of years in place. Some tree roots were visible and they removed them as well. Overall their performance has been appreciated and commendable. Complete... Thank you .

Perfect. The crew arrived on time and performed the work exactly as we expected. They were courteous, efficient and cleaned up every last leaf.

I wanted the trees thinned in order to provide better sunlight to the lawn. They knew exactly what I needed and the completed job gave me exactly what I wanted.

Very well. The canopy was rounded and lifted and Carlos knew the Flower Mound code as he has worked in the area previously. I was given an hour range in which to expect them and they arrived near the end of the range. However, the four men worked quickly. Removing the evergreen wasn't easy. It was located on the west side of my home and an 8' fence precluded an easy removal. However, they raked the rock over the remaining trunk underground and one can't tell a tree was removed. The roots and full stump could not be removed as my fence doesn't have a gate.

I called and arranged to obtain an estimate form Complete Tree, a contractor I used a couple years ago. The estimator arrived as scheduled and I reviewed with him the work I wanted done...trimming 2 Pecan trees to allow more sunlight to sod I had just installed beneath them. In the course of that review he asked if I would like to have trees growing along our property line (on neighboring property, and with a power cable running through and over the top) trimmed to increase sun exposure to my lawn in that area. He told me he could give me a very good price if I added that work to the pecan tree trimming. I said I would look at that option, but suspected I could afford to only do the 2 pecan trees right now. It ended up that I was quoted nearly $947 when I had expected no more than half that to trim the 2 pecan trees. The end result was that I then called another contractor and got an estimate for trimming the 2 pecan trees for less than $450; they did trim the trees very nicely. I also called the utility company and they completely removed the trees under the power cable at no cost to me.

I really wish that they would have ground the stump down, but they said that they did the best they could on it and that's the only thing that they didn't do.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. They did the job really well, they did just what I wanted them to do.

I spend about $2000 with them which was way above the “Big Deal” but overall the service went very good and there were here on time. The guy that did the job came and did the job and then when he came back the day that they were going to do it he walked the entire yard with the supervisor and the guys that gonna be doing the work to make sure they understood everything that I wanted done and then he left. I don’t have a problem with that because the man he left in charge seemed very confident and they did a great job.

I scheduled a visit with Complete Tree Services to get an estimate on removing two trees from my yard. The visit was scheduled for the following week. They told me that I did not need to be home to come look at the trees and that if I was not home, they would email me the estimate. On the day they were coming I was home nearly all the day waiting for them, because I wanted to discuss what we wanted to do. I was busy all day, but at 4:00pm I checked my e-mail to see if I had missed them and if they had sent an estimate. I saw that they had sent me an email that morning saying that they were scheduled to come out and was I still interested in receiving their estimate. What an absurd question! I called them right away and left a message on voicemail that I was still interested. I also responded to the email that I was still interested and had waited all day for them. No one ever showed up for my estimate, or emailed, or apologized. I ended up going with another company. It is ridiculous to schedule an appointment and then email the day of the appointment to ask if you should still come. In my opinion, Complete Tree Services is a complete joke.
