Buckets & Bows Maid Service

The windows and housecleaning was fine but the carpet left some to be desired.

The service was very good. They are timely, when I interviewed them, they did what they said they were going to do. I thought their price was a little on the high end, but they did a good job. They gave me a 10% Angie's List discount but it was still expensive. One showed up on time, and the other two didn't show up until 15 minutes later. They were very professional.

The employees are very professional and they take a lot of time to really make sure they know what you want.

The new owner said they did a great job and I was surprised at what they could do for the price. I went and saw the house a few days after they had cleaned and it looked great! I wish I had known about them while I lived in Flower Mound.

Both times, I received a great price by watching their email specials during the Christmas season. I have the same person monthly. It is great to come home to a sparkling house. Thank you Miranda.

Up and down - lack of consistency. Our last Bucket and Bows person began claiming that it was against company policy to move furniture (even light items) and she was also by policy prohibited from cleaning inside showers. We were perplexed but accepted. After weeks of us noticing quality of service was ok, but very superficial, we brought this issue to attention of Buckets and Bows staff. They informed us that these claims were not correct, but outside of offering to change cleaning person, did nothing else. Overall, we perceive Buckets and Bows has a lot of valuable fanfare up front when you sign up, but lack of follow through and quality assurance after several months have passed. For over $540 a month, we expected more.

3 had to be followed up on because the job was unsatisfactory. Finally had to look for another service.

I received an email from Buckets and Bows for a coupon offering money off a cleaning. When I called to schedule the cleaning I was told it would be $285 - $65 (advertised coupon) for a cost of $220. I then received an email and subsequent charge to my credit card for $397. I called to discuss this difference with Peggy. She advised that the $285 was just the minimum charge and not what it would cost to clean my house. I asked her what it would cost to clean my house. She told me a minimum of $397 but it could be as high as $514. I asked her if she had already charged my card and she said she didn't know. I checked and they had already charged my card. I called her back and advised her that I needed them to remove this charge. She said she would have the office call me Monday morning. I expected to be given a quote for my house, not a minimum quote. If the cost to clean my house exceeded the minimum charge, I expected to be told that. I had no way of knowing that $285 was a minimum charge and would not apply to me. I did schedule them to provide a general cleaning as they have done a good job in the past for me. If they don't do a good job cleaning and remedy the over charge promptly, I won't use them again. I will update this review following the completion of my cleaning. They just finished cleaning my house and did an excellent job! My low ratings are the for office and business staff that handle the calls. The actual cleaning team did a nice job. If they would just improve communications about the cost of their service I might continue to use them. The owner just called me and apologized for the errors and, in my opinion, sounded genuinely interested in correcting the communication problems. She assured me the charges to my credit card would also be corrected. Because of her sincerity coupled with the great job her cleaning teams do, I will continue to use Buckets and Bows. I have tried numerous cleaning services and no one else even comes close to the quality Buckets and Bows delivers on a consistent basis.

Super service. They have cleaned my house for over 3 years now. Very reliable, good prices, efficient. Above all, they kept my house very very clean. They are careful with house stuff, and do a very thorough job. They kept my house so clean I was able to sell it without any additional cleaning required. I give them the highest ratings.

I had them send additional people out because I wasn't pleased with their service. They missed things and it was not done to my satisfaction in several areas.

If the crew was good the work was amazing. However, I never consistently got the same team. Not all their cleaning people are as detailed as their best cleaners. Some weeks my house was amazingly clean, and others it was not. For example, on our last clean, there was still toothpaste in my son's sink, the floors still had stuff on them (like they had forgotten to sweep first) and the trash went out but not the recycling, plus more! I stopped my service because for the price I needed consistency in the quality of cleaning. If it was consistent it would have been great.

Though the cleaners were pleasent, What they promise and what they deliver do not correlate at all. I don't have the time to go into the details of how poorly the cleanng service was. They just cannot clean 2900 sq.ft house in 3 hours and be effective in doing so.

The set up call was very professional. They accomodated to my needs and urgency. The follow up call was extremely professional and was appreciated. It was the actually cleaning service that was not worth the money paid. We actually had to call the manager to have the house recleaned. I thought it was fine after the second cleaning, until we went to stock our cabinets and found old cookies and chips still in there, even after the second cleaing was done. So disappointed and feel ripped off. I ended up having to clean it myself after we moved in. Not at all what I was expecting. I had considered setting up a regular service with them, but not after this experience.

They were quick to respond to my request for an estimate -- I will probably try them out in the next couple weeks.

They clean every 2 weeks and do a very thorough job.

I just recently used Buckets & Bows Maid Service which I got off of Angie's List. I got their top to bottom clean. We bought another house and it was completely empty, we had remodeled and so they came and cleaned after all the remodeling was done. They described their top to bottom clean and I was very clear I wanted a deep cleaning because it was a house we just bought and Petra sold me on their top to bottom deal telling me it was a very deep cleaning but it really wasn't. It was a deep dusting because basically what they did was just dusted everything. We found a lot of dust in a lot of places. In one room, you would go into it and the base boards would be very clean but there would be dust on some window sills or something. The next room you would go into it and the window sills would be really clean but the baseboards would dirt or dust on them. Some rooms were better than others. I haven't gotten the bill yet but she quoted me between $360.00 and $430.00 I called a few other places too. I called them at the beginning of the week and said I needed them on Saturday and they came out on Saturday. They said they would be here at 8:00. One lady was here at 10 till 8 and the other 2 ladies didn't show up until after 8. Buckets and Bows contacted me and offered me a free cleaning due to us being unsatisfied. The cleaning went good the 2nd time around and we have since added a monthly cleaning. We will see how this goes. I appreciate Buckets and Bows contacting us and giving the effort toward us being satisfied. I have updated the ratings to reflect the response and work done since our initial purchase.

They did a good job. I wouldn't classify it as exceptional or outstanding, but the company did what they said they would.

Getting ready for the upcoming holiday and a house full of family - it was a relief to have Buckets & Bows out to clean our house. My wife greatly appreciated the fact that she could focus more on wrapping gifts and prepping snack trays for the family instead of getting in the nooks and crannies to clean. This company was reccomended to me by a friend, they were responsive, fast and did exactly what I asked. I did notice one item when they were done cleaning and gone and that was they did not clean my curtains/drapes. I did note this in their feedback form and adivsed that it could have been my fault as I gave such specific notes and did not included that. Other than that the house was spotless and felt like it did right when we moved in. I would reccomend this company as they work with you to meet your schedule. I just think housecleaning in general seems kind of expensive, but for the amount of work I guess it all evens out.

Excellence in professionalism! Prompt, thorough and personable they went right to work. Each woman was assigned an area of the house and all did fabulous work! As they finished cleaning, a woman came to check their work. If she wasn't satisfied that it was perfectly cleaned, she would have them do it over. When they left, my mom was in tears she was so happy to have the house cleaned to the high standards of her younger days.

Once I made the call to have Buckets and Bows give us an estimate for housecleaning, my husband and I came very quickly to appreciate the professionalism of the company. From the first estimate to the last cleaning we have been thoroughly impressed with their work. During the initial cleaning a company representative came to inspect the job. Laura, who has been assigned to us biweekly, is a super cleaning tech.! She is quick, thorough, and personable. I would recommend the company to anyone!

I have used Buckets&Bows several times in the past. They do a wonderful job. The Top to Bottom Service is detailed and thorough. They are uniformed, professional and pleasant. They arrive on time on the scheduled day. Customer service skills are an A+++. They are the only cleaning company that I will refer anyone to.

They are very reliable. They send one person in.
