American Sprinkler Repair

I am extremely impressed with these people. I have had a dozen repairs on sprinkler systems in various homes, with varied success. I had these folks out for a repair a few months ago that they handled very quickly. Very professional. They were actually fixing something a previous repairman had done poorly. They showed me exactly why there was a leak, and how they fixed it. I was worried due to the high hourly cost (~$100), but they charged less than the other guys and did more in a shorter time. Then this month, I had another issue that I wasn't sure was the sprinkler system. They inspected and tested and found the problem was from my neighbor's system that they fixed quickly. They didn't even charge me for that visit pending a 2nd visit after we turned everything off to try to isolate if there was another issue. For the 2nd visit, the owner came out with the crew and walked and tested the entire system. For both visits, they charged me a very reasonable rate. I'd not have complained if they charged more. But essentially, these people are in my "no one else but them" list of repair folks. Trust is earned. They earned it.

They are outstanding and I have used them 4-5 times now. They got the job done in about 45 minutes. The technician was great.

I had a day off & desperately needed my sprinkler system repaired, I called this morning & they were here early this afternoon. I was kept advised of what needed to be repaired. They were finished quickly & I was so pleased at the price. I am such a satisfied customer I asked to be put on their list for spring check-ups. First time for using Angie's list & I am very pleased!!

I had two zones not wrking and American Sprinkler came and fixed and did some other small repairs in less than an hour. They do charge $100 an hour labor which may be a little pricey, but I think it was well worth it. It was $60 for parts for each valve so I have no idea if that is fair or not. I will use again.

Excellent job and fast. We received a previous estimate from a competitor for $1000 to fix the same problem. Great cost savings and workers were efficient, pleasant, and very customer service oriented.

We were shocked to see that the request for a quote for expanding a system equates to a service call from them at $100 an hour. We did not request repairs of any kind. We have no interest in paying forward for work that may or may not be done.

All of my valve boxes were buried and I needed to know the location of every one. I called and was able to get an appointment 2 days later. They showed up on time and did everything I needed them to do. I will definitely use them again in the future. Can't comment on price because I don't have other pricing to compare to. Their hourly rate is $100.

I am 100% happy with American Sprinkler Repair. Cindy and Jose came out and used their high electronic wire finder which told them where the pipe was and dug down and found the broken pipe and replaced that section. They did a great job and it was obvious they knew exactly what to do. Cindy's dad started this business in 1954. So it is a well run family business that does a great job. If I need any more sprinkler work they will be the one I will call.

They called to let me know they were on the way and showed up as planned. It took them two days to complete the services, with about 4-5 guys working. There was a lot of trenching to do, so they used a small trenching machine. I wish they would have used a sod cutter prior to remove the sod first, but I'm guessing that might have been too cost prohibitive. The sod cutter would have provided a better finished look, but I don't know if I would have wanted to pay the extra money for it. All of the work was completed as specified and the crew was very friendly. I will definitely use them again.

They showed up on time, found and repaired 2 leaking pipes, and replaced a few nozzles for a very reasonable price. My water pressure is back and it didn't cost a lot of money to stop wasting water due to the leaks. I have used them before and will continue to use them in the future.

One of the owners personally came out with an assistance. Very down to earth, great folks. Told me the basics and did the work, didnt try to up sale me on anything.

These guys were awesome. They charge by the hour so I was a little worried that they would dawdle but they were quick and thorough. They really knew what they were doing and got right to it...no screwing around. They did an excellent job.

He is a small business man. He is a little bit higher priced than other people but he is really good. The guy before would come out and I paid less but then he would have to come out 3 or 4 times throughout the year and every time you are having to pay a service call. This guy, he comes out, he checks everything, if there is anything questionable, he talks to you about it and fixes it right then. That doesn't mean something else isn't going to go on but I haven't had to have him come out. One time, one sprinkler head went out and they were in the area. He came out and replaced it and charged me a fee to replace it. that's all he charged me. They tell you their fee up front so you know they are a little more expensive but honestly when you used them and you have used other people, you realize what I'm paying upfront I am going to save by not having a broken sprinkler head and paying a higher water bill or having to have them come out multiple times during the year.

I hired this company after having another company come out but no work was performed. Not sure what to expect. Company was a little late arriving but hit the ground running once they arrived at my home. Very knowledgeable and excellent problem solving skills. Will use this company for all my sprinkler maintenance. Big thanks to the American Sprinkler team.

Mark arrived at the agreed upon time. He checked all sprinkler zones and adjusted or replaced sprinkler heads were necessary. He was polite and very knowledgeable. He set my sprinkler controls for me and showed me how to use the controls. I would recommend him to friends and family.

They have prompt service and are professional and clean.

Overall technician was very professional, arrived on time. Agreed to expand the original service request to a complete system check, explained what he was doing and got approval for the additional costs before he performed the work. There were three issues with the first service call - he left the system off - we were in the process of moving into the house and didn't catch it until a week later which was not good since we had just sodded the front lawn. The other issue was that I gave him the coupon for the Angie's list and he said he would take it off, he did the discount by hand on the bill, but subtracted wrong, I didn't catch until he had already left. The other issue was that there was still a leak in the system which he didn't catch during the full system check. I e-mailed the company back and they agreed to only charge labor and materials for the follow up repair which saved me about a $100. Even though I didn't get the $10 discount from the 1st service, I was pleased with the responsiveness of this company when things didn't go as planned.

Scheduling was a little disorganized. But the crew was professional and the truck was well equipped. They perfectly tuned my system and fixed multiple broken sprinkler heads in less than a hour.

Everything went really smooth. They did a very thorough job of reviewing not only the issues I had on my list but making sure everything was ready for the summer season. They were very responsive to my initial call and able to add me to their schedule within 24 hours. They sent 2 people, worked about 2 hours and the cost was reasonable. I've added them to my "success" column for great customer service!

They are awesome. Completely knowledgeable, responsive professionals and reasonable prices. Even walked me through a timer issue over the phone after their visit. You want them on your team if you have sprinkler issues!!

I was called back right away to set up an appointment. They called the day before to confirm. The gentleman was nice and checked for a leak we did not have. He fixed our rain sensors and a disconnected pipe. He did not take that long and knew what he was doing. The only thing he forgot was to put plastic lid back on where wiring was done. Not a big deal though. I will definetley use them again and recommend them.

I had a really good experience with them. I was very impressed with them. They had tools that were right to diagnostics. They were very able to locate the valve and to shut it down and replaced a couple of valves. I walked around watching them so there wasn’t any BS going on. They were on time and got right with it. Their diagnostics were excellent. They didn’t have to just dig the yard up to find everything. They had their proper tools that are expensive to locate things. They just got with it and found the problems and took care of them in a very timely fashion. Their pricing is standard. I was very pleased.

We are Midwest expats. Summer of 2013 was our first summer in Texas and are somewhat unfamiliar with watering our home's foundation. We noticed that several of our sprinkler heads needed replacement earlier this Spring and called American Sprinkler Repair for an inspection and repair service. They were courteous, prompt, friendly and professional. They worked around our schedule and contacted us 30 minutes before arriving. They hustled and worked quickly (two person team). I had the pleasure of meeting the owner who took the time to show me how to set-up a watering schedule for each zone based on Texas summer season. I am very pleased with their service and will not hesitate to call them again.
