Called Arnie after being recommended by another repair company that wasn't able to service my washing machine. He arrived ontime and was very professional. I particularly like his pricing structure. He charged me a flat $129 regardless of how much labor was involved; 10 min or 10 hours = 1 price on the labor. He came over troubleshot my washing machine then had to return the next day to install the part. My washing machine runs great now for about $200. I was worried I was going to have to buy another machine.

I was pleased that this company worked with me to try and diagnose the problem by doing a couple simple things so that they would have the right parts when coming to work on the washing machine. Though the part was unavailable locally, they found the part in Houston and had it shipped to them overnight express so that I could get my machine up and running again as soon as possible. They are extremely responsive, professional and personable and, most important, got my machine back in working condition very quickly. Damien even noted that when the installation of the washer and dryer occurred, the installers had placed circular pieces of sandpaper under the feet (not good on Travertine floors!). He replaced the sandpaper with rubber footers at no charge.

We've used JB Appliances a few times in the past couple years. The fellow running the company does a great job. On two occasions he offered to come over on a Sunday for a repair. His prices are fair, and the quality of the work is good. He also refurbishes appliances and will give you a decent deal on the refurbished appliances and back them up with a warranty. I highly recommend this company for your appliance repairs.

My gas dryer kept stopping. The interior light would stay on. I could not restart it. They thought it was the motor based on my description but when they came over to see it, they thought it was a combination of the door switch and cleaning out the lint from the hose line to outside of the house. Less money to fix. They pegged it! Came back the next day with the part. Cleaned out the vent line. Dryer is working perfectly. No muss, no fuss. Responsive, friendly, honest and easy to work with.

The machine gave the error code denoting the part that was defective, so it was pretty much straight forward.

Excellent service!! The response was quick and they came to fix our washer the very next day. He showed me the sock that was caught in the motor (I wondered where those socks go!) and brought the part back the next day. On time, neat, friendly and good service!! What more can you ask for?

I ended up paying more than what i was told. He said he will reimburse if i use them to fix the problem which he was not 100% sure.

Arnie and his son were fantastic. They came out 2 hours early, stayed in touch as plans changed, called ahead, had the parts and performed exemplary work. It is rare to find a company so devoted to top-notch delivery and customer service. There aren't enough stars here to rate JB the way it needs to be. Highly recommended!

We called Able Appliances on Saturday afternoon, after our dryer stopped heating. Because we had to leave in a few hours, the owner did not have time to get to our home - and complete the work - before we had to leave. Insofar as he doesn't work Sundays (except emergencies), he recommended JB Appliances - and even offered to call and pass on our information to Arnie, the owner. Thank you Able Appliances!! Arnie called back within minutes, and agreed there wasn't time to complete the work on Saturday - but he could come Sunday (for no additional charge!), if that would work for us. That was perfect! True to his word, he called Sunday morning as agreed, and was here 30 minutes later - with an assistant. They took the back off the dryer, showed us the burned up/broken component, replaced it - and vacuumed EVERYTHING around them. Incredibly neat! More importantly, on Saturday, Arnie asked what the problem was and what the model number was for our dryer. He suspected one of two causes - and showed up on Sunday with the parts needed for either repair! As a result, there was no need for a second trip after ordering parts! He could not have been more professional in his approach. No one wants to pay for repairs to something that isn't supposed to break so soon. But we thought the price was VERY reasonable for the parts, labor - and weekend! We are KEEPING this card - and recommend them highly to anyone who needs such repairs!

Called, he needed to check on the cost of the chip, called me back and within 3 hours it was fixed! He and his son were very professional and quick. Would call them again.

Called Arnie in the morning, he was able to come that afternoon. Fast work, excellent, and reasonably priced. Offered to show me what/why he was fixing. Professional work....I'll call him again when need arises.

Originally contacted another company for estimate and repair work. Ends up that JB Appliances and this other company share work. So JB came for our house call. They called a few times to update us on their whereabouts, and that they would be late. This was not unexpected, our appt. was right at rush hour on a weekday. Very courteous, polite, and informative. Explained fully what was wrong and what they would replace. Also reminded me of checking the water pump housing periodically for debris. We had an Angi's list coupon for the work, which actually had the other companies name on it. They accepted it, which I thought was great. They could have easily not, and request that we take it up w/ other company. Then again, we were not informed of both companies sharing customers, so by just accepting coupon, JB Appliance avoided any hassles and kept a returning customer for the future. Highly recommend this company.

The repair to the washer was very slight, only a hose had come loose inside of it. Arnie [company owner] and his son showed my husband and me how to fix it if it came loose in the future, and this would have only been $60. But, we also decided to have them clean our dryer, and service it, which they did, and even changed the door position so that it opened more comveniently towards the washer. They cleaned around under both washer and dryer with a vaccum they brought, were pleasant and polite, very professional. They were prompt, coming when they said that they would arrive, worked quickly and were very reasonable. Our dryer had never been serviced in 10 years, and they made a few repairs to it to keep it running well. Very happy, recommend them highly, will definately use them again.
