Everything went well! Highly recommended!

The initial service went okay, my main concern was scorpions. The qtrly services were usually done when I was not home, and if I was the tech seemed to rush the treatment, a few sprinkles, a few sprays and he was gone. Therefore the problem was not solved and when I would call them to come back to service again, it would be as much as a week and half before they could get to me. This happened multiple times. My last encounter with them was that I had paid for a full quarter of service, which I did not realize, because they had set up an automatic draft. They did the qtrly service and within a few days there were scorpions in the house again, I called for them to come back, but it would be ten days before they could schedule, so I cancelled my service with them. When I saw my credit card bill, I called and asked if they would still honor the call back option, they told me they would not. My recommendation is don't use them.

Based on my limited knowledge, I think it went well. Described what he was going to do both inside and outside. Seem thorough and performed his tasks quickly.

I think he did what needed to be done which was to clean the scaling and flush water through the system to completely clean out all of the scaling. From what was on the invoice, I believe the service technician did what needed to be done, which as I understand it needs to be done annually.

ABC Home & Commercial Services are very pleasant and very nice people. They're prompt. They seem to be doing an adequate job.

I have an annual contract with. They do an excellent job. They conduct themselves in an exemplary manner.

ABC does a great job. We have used this company multiple times now and each time the work is excellent. We will continue to use the company as there is not one reason for us to look elsewhere. Thank you ABC!

When the guy first showed up he was really helpful and courteous. He set up traps in my attic and told me to call him when they went off and he would come out and reset them. That worked for the first few days. We caught some of the mice but the others were too small to set the snap traps off. He told me the only other option is to use glue traps which I did not want to use. I told him that on the first visit. I asked him if there wasn't some other kind of trap that they used and he said no. I was really surprised considering how large a company they are and how long they have been around. I reluctantly agreed to this and he set the traps. He came back 3 times the first week, once a week later and once a month later to check on the progress. Also, on the first visit he sealed up an entry point that i had showed him with some kind of material that looks like gray whipped cream. Did the job but I thought it was a little crude for $460. I think he might have put it on one other place near that also but that was it. Didn't get on the roof to check anything up there and just walked around the house and looked at the vents in the overhangs. Some of them were missing screws and he pointed that out which made me think that he would replace them but he didn't. He also set up three bait stations around the house which I did not know would be part of the treatment. But again I trusted that they knew best. Since it was never explained to me that I had been locked in to using them once a quarter for a year, I didn't think anything about it. Then I found a bill on my front door for $86. It said that they had been by to do the quarterly treatment. They had not been in the house/attic and the gates were locked so they did not go to the back yard. I guess he walked across the front yard. I called them and they said that he did the scheduled treatment. Never knew he was coming and he wasn't able to do anything anyways since I wasn't there. She told me that I can have them come back out at any time. I was frustrated and said that I didn't want them to come out. She said that since he had already done the work, that i would have to pay the $86. Didn't find out until the next quarter that i was locked in to having the service for the rest of the year whether I wanted it or not. The price they charged was just not reasonable for the level of work done. I could have gone to Home Depot and got everything for less than $100 and done it myself.

ABC would not do a one-time ant treatment. They just wanted to sell us a contract.

I would use them again and I would recommend them to others

I noticed a termite mound outside my home so, based on the reviews on Angie's List, I selected ABC. I am very pleased overall with the service I have received from them, am happy to recommend them and would use them again. They provided excellent service from start to finish. On the phone, they fully explained what services were offered and the prices. (They didn't mention that I would have to sign a one-year contract, but I knew that based on the reviews here.) Scheduling my initial appointment was timely and convenient. Lance arrived within the scheduled timeframe. This guy is professional, friendly, thorough and takes his job seriously. He did a walk through inside and outside and explained everything that he was going to do to treat the termites and the other insects. They told me over the phone that their fees are set and not based on square footage. I have a large home and lot and it took him three hours on a Friday evening (4:30-7:30) to finish the job but he did everything as promised. Then, about 4 days later, I noticed that some of the ant mounds outside were still slightly active and I ran over one termite bait station with my mower. When I called again, the rep was very courteous and explained that the ant bait may take time, but they would send Lance out again just to make sure everything had been treated and to replace the termite bait. He was there on time with a smile on his face and retreated several areas and treated some new ant mounds as well. The price for the initial treatment is definitely high -- $540+tax, then $165 each quarter when they inspect and treat again. But, the integrity and professionalism I felt from this company and from Lance was worth it. I'm just sorry he is being assigned to a different territory. Oh, and I forgot to use my Angie's List coupon on the initial visit and they said I could use it on my next followup.

I called ABC Pest Control and told them what I had found. They said that I definitely described termites and quoted me a price over the phone. They said the technician would confirm the termites but that they were 99% sure that was my problem. I called in the morning and they sent someone out that afternoon to treat the house. I thought it would be a lot more involved, but they basically treated around the plumbing areas and the outside area where the termite tunnel was coming out of the brick. I had no tunnels to the ground yet so the technician told me they most likely came up around where the plumbing comes through the concrete. There were a couple places they did have to drill a few small holes in the sheetrock on the back side of the shower to spray in the wall. They also did the same in the laundry area. The technician did not fill the holes. I am not sure if that is normal or not as I did not ask as it was not a big deal for me to put spackle in the hole. I had to remove the mable panel in front of the tube so they could get to the master bath tube plumbing. The technician did tell me he could remove it but they did not put them back on. It was not a big deal to me as I could put it back and caulk it. For some people, that might have been a negative. Of course, most jacuzzi tubs have an access panel, but ours it the front marbel piece. They put wood traps around the house and will come out every 3 months to check for termites in the traps. The total amount paid included regular pest control for 12 months (once every 3 months). Although they come out every 3 months, I can call if having a problem and they will come take care of it between the 3 month normal service. Overall, I have been pleased so far with ABC Pest control. I did read a few reviews about people trying to cancel service and having issues. The contract does state that the service renews on an annual basis and must be cancelled 30 days prior to the anniversary date of the contract. It should also be noted that the technician said they normally just treat the perimeter of the house for insects. He did say they would come into the house and spray if I requested it or we were having a particular problem. He said they try to not be envasive in the home. I don't know if outside sprarying only is normal pest control method now days or they just don't want to spend the extra time. Personally, I would just assume they spray only the perimeter and not in the house as long as I am not having a problem. Again, the outside only spraying may be something that some people may not like.

I just wanted a one-time treatment. I just kept getting the hard sell on an expensive maintenance program that would have them coming back over and over again, they weren’t being responsive at all to my requests. So I went with another company.

Never let me know they were coming out before time. They tried to tell me I couldn't cancel when the service wasn't needed. Just overall not a good experience .

Everything went very well. Service, professionalism and price...all EXCELLENT. Our first follow up service was this week and there were zero signs of termites. We had a small termite problem off one of our guest baths...but not any more! Peace of mind...peace of mind...that's ABC's guarantee!

I had some concerns around a door jam in my garage. They did the initial check, set traps and provided a written analysis. They indicated that all was well and the issue was related to water damage. I signed up for their quarterly inspection service which includes they installation and checking of traps surrounding our home. I feel comfortable in knowing that I have no issues. They have been responsive and very helpful with my questions.

I moved back to the North Texas area after living in the gulf coast for over 40 years. I always hire a pest control service to maintain my residence and have them out every 90 days. The last exterminator I had was very concerned about not doing more than the minimum level of service to get paid his standard fee and then head out. ABC Pest Control came out, took their time and was professional and friendly. They came out the same day I called and spent a couple hours setting up a protective barrier in and around my new home as well as treat my half acre lot. The scope of service for the 12 month service agreement was beyond fair. I signed up for their pest control and termite bundle which cost the same as my Mother was paying to Terminix for just spraying, not including termite. The service man was knowledgeable and patient with me. I received access the next day to my own online account to view the services rendered and have the ability to communicate directly with ABC on all issues, including appointments. Now I can kick back and enjoy my new home. It's a great start to what I look forward to be a long relationship with ABC Pest Control.

Everyone was awesome starting with making appointment to service being completed. Even signed my mom up!

I use them as my primary pest control service for bugs, so when I heard something big in the attic I didn't hesitate to call. They gave me a price that was in the 400-500 range to seal everything up and trap what ever was creeping around up there. I've never had this done before, so I can't speak to whether the price was fair. The rep. and his assistant were great and did enough work that I felt the price was fine. No more critters, so my wife is happy.

I have a new guy and he is younger but he is incredibly nice. He cleans all my spider webs and is always on time. When I call in they customer service team is always nice as well.

The technician offered a annual service that he stated could be terminated at my descretion. About 1 year later my tenant indicated that they would like me to discontinue the service. I contacted the firm and they refused to cancel the service, stating that their agreement was automatically renewed at the end of the original term for another year and that I could only cancel the service at the end of the 2nd term. I wrote them a letter in September 2012 and in November received another billing for service. I then contacted them by certified mail and to date have had no response. I do not recommend this vendor due to their unethical business practices.

Two men came to the job. They were extremely professional. They wore covers over their shoes and explained the process thoroughly, especially since we have two dogs. They answered all of my questions and performed the job in a very timely manner. I was extremely impressed with the service we received.

Called first, then arrived exactly on time! Listened to my "briefing" on the situation, then went all over checking and doing there work. After what I feel was a thourough inspection and putting out traps, etc, they "debriefed" me on how they do it and the periodic inspection period. Now we are signed up for a fairly priced program of pest control. No pressure was put on for this, just logic and a fair price for prevention of further problems.
