While I thought I just wanted someone to fix the immediate problem, I discovered that I would have to signup for the ABC quarterly service plan. In the end, it was an excellent choice, and I look forward to having the quarterly services performed and feeling comfortable that our home is pest free. The company went beyond my expectations in helping us the day we found the ants, and still accepted the coupon from Angie's List page - eventhough it was an emergency and they had to use Sam, who drove almost an hour to get to our house. My husband was extremely impressed with Sam. This company is professional, and yet caring. That is significant in my book. I look forward to a long-term relationship.

my husband and I just built a home outside the city limits and of course with that comes ALOT of pests and not to mention - rodents. Since we had used ABC pest once before in a home we owned and then in a rent house, we decided to call them again.The technician was actually on time considering the area where we live and he did a VERY thourough job exterminating the home and explaining all the services that he performed. I really appreciated his professionalism and would not hesitate recommending ABC to all my friends!

ABC came out to rid our house of a current ant infestation we were having. The technicians were helpful, answered my questions and completed the job. Then came for the payment...of which I had been given no idea of prior. The assumption, as is usual with these kind of things, was that I was going to sign a contract to pay for a certain number of visits to control pests around the perimeter of our home. The cost came to $250 which shocked me a bit at first, especially since no choice of what to do and costs associated was relayted to me, the bill was just expected to be paid at the completion of the job. I protested and the technician said I would be able to push the services back a quarter one or two times to spread out the cost. He also said the price would be even higher (~$350) if I just paid for the single visit. With the knowledge that I could push services back and not shell out $500+ over 12 months, I was ok with the contract. I just today called to have the next scheduled service pushed out and was told this was not possible beyond the month in which the service was scheduled. In other words, I was not told the truth by the technician. Service options and costs should be shown upon arrival before the technicians run around the house spraying and dusting, so that there are no surprises. If this was done, surprises are avoided and services up to a reasonable cost can be purchased. Be careful with ABC, their prices and their "contracts" and with any other services that offers "contracts."

Called ABC based on their excellent Angie's list score. Jason explained the types of services and gave me a quote. He also reminded me to print out the $55 coupon on the Angie's List website. We agreed to the 1-year service agreement. $180 initial visit then $100 every 3 months afterwards No charge service call backs in-between quarterly service calls We scheduled the initial service for a few days out. I had to call and reschedule the appointment and the lady who helped me was kind and courteous. She offered to reschedule or cancel and have Jason follow up with me. I rescheduled for a Saturday afternoon visit between 1PM and 3PM. Richard arrived early during the window. Richard was very friendly and personable. He took time to explain his service and took a look at a problem area with Ants. He taught me about the type of ant I was seeing and why they were in that area. Turns out they like the aphids on the crepe myrtel outside our window. Richard agreed to treat our upstairs first to accomodate our kiddies' nap time. He treated the whole indoor and then moved to the outside of the home. He wrapped up his service and then took a moment to chat with me again, giving me a heads up on other services but never pressuring me to buy. We shook hands and the last thing he said was... "I was careful not to treat anywhere little fingers or wet noses can get to - the home is safe". That reminder that he was taking my family into consideration felt good. We look forward to ABC future visits. So far so good!

Recently fired our previous pest control services company (the one's with the mouse eared cars) because of their inattentiveness to our pest issues. Contacted ABC on 8/31 in the morning and by that afternoon Jeff D was out to our house and taking care of our issues. While the price is a bit more than the previous competitor, the services provided (which included a termite guarantee and indoor treatments every quarter) appear well worth the cost. I would recommend their services to friends and family.

It went great - the person I spoke with on the phone gave me my options and costs over the phone so I had time to consider if I just wanted the termites treated, if I wanted any other pests treated, and if I wanted a monitoring plan. They worked around my schedule and the technician was very professional. I had experience with termite infestation in a previous home so opted for the treatment and monitoring for a year (they come out quarterly and recheck the monitors placed outside). I thought they were very thorough and knowledgeable and priced very reasonably.

Each serviceman was a gentleman and quickly went about the house dusting and baiting under the house taking care for our many cats that they did not get into the baited areas or out of the house.

I was able to get an appointment within 2 days of calling. They gave me an initial time of between 3-5pm however the technician called me that day and stated he was able to come earlier if I could accommodate. I was so he was there promptly at the time we agreed upon (the earlier time). The tech walked around the house with a flashlight looking for cracks/crevices and treated each one with a chemical. He was extremely thorough. He even found and treated an ant pile in my front flower bed and knocked down a wasp nest in a high back corner of my 2 story home. The job was very good and thorough. I used a coupon for the service that I printed off the website for the initial service. The coupon was $50 off. A friend was at my home at the time of service and I told her about ABC company and suggested she use them for her service since she didn't have a company. I asked the tech for a card and he handed me a door hanger with the ABS's contact info and a $75 off coupon for intial service for me to give to my guest. I felt shafted in that I was only able to use a $50 off coupon. My point is this...don't have 2 sets of coupons; have one. In my case, I felt shafted since I was the one doing the referring and only got $50 off for initial service. I couldn't change to the other coupon since when I made the appt, I told them I had a $50 off coupon. Now my friend gets to take advantage of the higher discount. Yes, I get some credit if I refer my friend and she uses the service but I'm still shafted with the initial coupon. Also, from a price perspective, the $120 a month for quarterly service is higher than most other providers however the service is good. I will re-evaluate after this year's agmt is over on whether or not I will continue the service because of the price. I will check around to see if I can get a cheaper quote that is around $100 or less with great service. All in all, great service, technician was VERY nice and professional however the cost is high than most.

Fantastic!! As said in what they did, they set out traps and bait, sealed a hole, inspected the attic and shed to find where the rats were.

The technician was courteous and thorough. I was very happy with the results. The ants were gone in the time expected and we have had no recurrences.

I have been using their services for about five years. We pay for the services every three months. They go all around and check even the smallest crevices around and inside the home. I believe they even use non-toxic chemicals. If there is ever any additional problems, they will come right back.

OMGosh! I would normally wait to write a review but am so happy with ABC I had to write something today! I have a terrible wasp problem in my back yard that had become dangerous over the month. I had used another pest control company in the past who was also much cheaper but you kind of get what you pay for. I called today and had many other appointments to deal with too. They squeezed me in at 1p.m. When I found out I couldn't change one of my other appointments, ABC was kind enough to move the appointment up an hour. WOW! They came exactly on time and did a GREAT job!!! Now, I don't expect this to happen every time but they did a such good job and treated me with respect. Professional and kind AND no contract??? You bet I'll be using them again!!!

This was my first experience with a pest control company and it was a good one! The man who came to complete the service was timely, polite and very informational.

I was pleased with the service. Jeff was friendly and polite and told me what he was looking for, what he'd found, and what he was doing at every step of the way. I appreciated that because I didn't know too much about termites, just that the seller had treated a small area of the house for termites when we bought the house six months ago and I didn't want them coming back. He assured me there were none currently and that with the monitors, they'd be watching them. It was about $170 for the initial visit (using the Angieslist $55 off coupon) and they'll be charging $105 to come out every quarter and check the monitors, re-spray for bugs, etc. It's worth it to me for the peace of mind. Also, Jeff told me that if we do have any termite infestations while I'm an active customer, they'll take care of it for free.

We used them for 20 years now. Their services are pretty good. I've recommended them to others.

The technician called and asked if he could come half-hour early. He was polite and well-spoken. He examining the inside and outside of the house. He was very understanding when I told him I did not want any spraying inside the house. He found termites or damage along 2 outside walls. These areas were treated. Then he installed termite monitors all around the outside of the house. They will return quarterly to check the monitors.

They came out promptly and took care of the issue and we haven't had a problem since then. They also come out once a month and checked on the treatment, but they never seemed to do a thorough check up after the fact. The initially service was certainly worth it, but afterwards we didn't feel like we got our monies worth.

PLEASE NOTE- THIS REVIEW references RODENT services only. Unfortunately, Angie's review requires it to be entered under the more general Pest Control/ Extermination category. I hesitated posting because I do not believe that their RODENT work is representative of the other services for which they have received excellent reviews. However, as a long time Angie's List member- I feel obligated to warn others dealing with RODENT issuesave yourself a lot of frustration and do not rely on ABC or any of the "Pest Control" companies to deal with your rodent problems. While their termite, roach, ant & such services may be excellent, effective RODENT control requires specialized training. Based on my experience & the stories that others have since shared with me, none of these companies have technicians with the necessary expertise. My suggestion is to start by calling 911-WILDLIFE. I was informed that eliminating rodents is not an easy task and it would take several weeks with numerous follow-up visits. The first visit was on 2/21. The very friendly, courteous technician came out and set up several "spring traps" & sticky tape strips to catch the mice in the house. He also set out some boxes of poison around the house telling me that the mice would eat the poison and then leave my property in search of water. I asked if the fact that I had a pond (i.e. water source) on the property meant that they'd end up dying in my backyard or under my house, he assured me that they would leave the property to die. I'll skip the following "series of events" but the bottom line is that while the numbers have diminished- I still have mice. When I called to ask them to come and discard the mice that were smelling & starting to disintegrate on the snap traps, I was told it would be a couple of days. The guy arrived, removed the mice- took a look at some of the poison boxes and told me he didn't have any snap traps with him so he wanted to put down some more of the "sticky tape" stuff. I was surprised (and not pleasantly) when I received a $ 70 invoice for the visit which was described as a "quarterly service".

I was happy with the service. I would use them again.

Overall, we were very pleased with their service.John was fabulous and courteous. We'll need to wait and see if we have any additional ant issues but their service was excellent.

I called ABC this morning and they were able to add me to their schedule for the same day. Steve showed up about 10 minutes early. He was courteous and very professional. He worked on the outside of the house first, spraying the perimeter and treating ant mounds. He set out some termite detection stakes and dusted the attic and the crawl space under our pier and beam house. He went room to room treating cabinets, windows and looking for any evidence of pest entry points. He crawled under the house to make sure there were no problems there. He cleaned and rebaited 4 rodent stations that we had used previously. After all work was done, the price was the same as what was given to me on his arrival. Before he left he sealed some openings on the side of the house with wire and foam at no charge. I plan to recommend ABC and Steve to all my friends.

I have been using them for four years. I don't have any bugs. Their price is competitive. I will continue to use them in the future.

They are accommodating to my schedule, they seem to do a good job, and they are responsive. I think they are excellent in everything.

I got them for killer ants but they do the termite barriers.

Noticed a swarm of termites last spring and bought a spray at the hardware store. Never saw the termites again until this spring when they did a job on my baseboard and window sill. I called ABC after reading the reviews on Angie's List. Set an appointment for the next week. Jared came over early this morning and treated my whole house inside and out. Was extremely thorough and very professional.
