+ 0 moreWe have been using him for years. We really like him. He is great. He does a bunch of stuff for us in our yard. We like him a lot. He is a delightful guy. He is personable and easy to work with. We were looking for an organic yawn service.
Description of Work: I used A little Extra for lawn and yard work services. He laid down compass and things like that. The reason I contacted him in the first place, is because he uses organic products.

+ 0 moreMr. Bauer added organic compost to the front yard. Earlier this spring he added nematodes and organic fertilizer. Our dogs were digging up a lot of grubs and stopped after the early spring application. I needed something safe that would save our lawn! Thus far our lawn looks much better over last year! I can't wait to see what the organic compost does... would be happy to provide an update in several weeks. I've enjoyed working with this knowledgeable business owner. I got his information from the Dirt Doctor and decided we'd try lawn care that is a bit healthier/natural. He has been great to work with and very knowledgeable about organic lawn care. He contacted me when it was timely to apply the compost and quickly followed-up. I would highly recommend him to anyone seeking organic lawn care!

+ 0 moreGreat! I am knowledgeable about organic gardening, but knew this job was too big for me. I had just bought the home, and the beautiful yard has such potential, but had really been "let go" by the previous homeowners. David understood that I just wanted help getting the major, heavy work done. He did not try to talk me into anything more than I wanted. He showed up early on the day of the work and introduced me to his staff. The staff was wonderful; making sure that things were being done as I expected. David returned on the following morning to review the work and to see if I understood everything and if the work was done as I wanted. He then spent some time laying some river rock that was found while his workers were cleaning my yard. He gave me suggestions for watering an general maintenance and told me to call him with any questions. He also loved my dog and remembered her name!
Description of Work: I found this company while searching on the internet for organic gardeners. I called David Bauer (owner) and he answered within a day. He came to my home the next day to give me an estimate on work that I wanted done: clean out overgrown flowerbeds, being careful to save the perennials; make borders using natural stone already available on the property; cut down two trees; set up gardening beds; organic fertilizer application; hauled all debris away; mowed, edged lawn; swept all sidewalks, patio, and driveway.

+ -1 moreMOST SHRUBS LIVED AND ONLY THE MOST TRAUMATIZED BY THE FOUNDATION WORK DIED. DAVID HAS DONE OTHER LAWN WORK FOR ME BEFORE. HE IS EASY-GOING, PATIENT, PLEASANT, LISTENS, IS KNOWLEDGEABLE AND CARING. HE DOES AN EXCELLENT JOB. HE PROVIDES ORGANIC LAWN SERVICE AND SUPPLIES ONLY, NOT THE TOXIC STUFF, AND HE WELL UNDERSTANDS PLANTS. GROWING THINGS JUST SEEMS TO COME NATURALLY TO HIM.
Description of Work: ORGANICALLY TREATED MY SHRUBS AND BUSHES AFTER THEY WERE SHOCKED BY FOUNDATION REPAIR UPHEAVAL. GOAL WAS TO SAVE AS MANY PLANTS AS POSSIBLE AFTER FOUNDATION WORK DISTURBED THEM.
