The company was professional, prompt and did minimal disturbance to area where the repairs were made.

Kevin showed up right on time. Company shirt, unmarked car. We chatted for a bit so he could understand my concerns and I took him to see the subfloor in the master-bedroom. He asked me to open the backyard gates to give him access all the way around the house and he was off to work. He surveyed the perimeter, taking notes along the way. Then he came inside for the interior measurements. During this process he sketched the floor plan of the house and made notes about separation and potential problems. Next he took measurements with the digital level (you may now the technical name for the actual tool, pretty cool gear). These readings were noted on the on the sketch as well. When he was finished we talked about the results. He took the time to explain what causes the foundation to move and what that meant for my house specifically. Flooring options were the main driver behind me getting the assessment, and Kevin took the time to talk through some things with me about flooring and other projects that I have coming up in the future. Kevin sent a follow-up email later that night which included the sketch, and explanation of the watering plan, and a quote for piers if I decided I wanted to go that route. Start to finish a professional and pleasant experience.

We had a structural engineer come out and tell us what needed to be done. A-1 went straight off the report and we had no issues even though 4 of the previously placed piers needed work from their warranty.

I was impressed with how quickly Mariana responded to me, scheduled the work to be done and followed up with me. The crew showed up on time and were done quickly. They cleaned up after themselves and did a great job. The plumber was dispatched a week later without my having to follow up. The plumber called, advised me they were being sent by A1 and when could they come out. They were there the next morning, did their plumbing test and were out in 30 minutes. The pricing was very competitive compared to other foundation repair companies in the area. So, overall, I was very happy with the responsiveness, the quality of work and cost. I have already recommended A1 to my neighbors.

The representative did a thorough job inspecting our pier and beam foundation and the drainage around the perimeter of the house. He described the natural shifting and assured us that our foundation did not need any repair.

They did exactly what they said they were going to do. I wish they would have done a little bit more. There was one worker, it took about two hours. The worker was perfect.

I emailed A-1 to have my house's foundation because I've noticed a crack on the ceiling and on one tile in my bathroom. They replied promptly, scheduled the appointment and showed up on time. Steve took all the measurements and explained to us everything in detail. No service was needed/ performed at this time. In no moment Steve tried to sell hard sell their services saying that it was all under the safety requirements. He was personal, pleasant and knowledgeable. Although no service has been performed, I praise them for the professionalism and for our great experience.

Initial consultation with Kevin was refreshing. A1 Guaranteed was one of the last bids I received for foundation work at our home and really glad that it happened that way. Kevin helped cut through the industry verbiage and provided great explanation of the various methods for foundation repair and gave unbiased assessment of the different techniques. That education really helped go a long way towards making an informed decision. Kevin was the only contractor who advised that we get an independent professional engineer's report FIRST so that we could compare bids apples to apples. The engineer would have to run a report following the work anyways to ensure the foundation repair was performed per their recommendation. This advice gave us the confidence that A1 Guaranteed would stand behind their work as well. Lastly, because we only performed what was absolutely necessary per the engineer's recommendations, the quote for the scope of work was very reasonable too. We highly recommend this group!

It went very well. Kevin came out and did a thorough inspection of the house inside & outside. I was very impressed and he made sure & explained everything very well. Turns out the foundation is good, just need some equal watering, gutters around the house.

They were contacted and came out for the first meeting a few days later and gave me an estimate. My house was so badly in need of foundation repair that they advised me to have a structural engineer to come out and I did that. Their initial estimate of the work was not very far off the engineers report. We set up a date to begin work and they were here exactly the time they estimated they would be here. There was one problem which was a miscommunication but it was dealt with quickly and I was very pleased. The work did take a day longer than planned but I was happy that it was done right so the extra day was no problem. I have laminate floors in my house so I had another person remove the flooring before the work began or they would have had to cut the floor in order to jack hammer the concrete below. They placed 31 piers around the outside of my house and and replanted any plants or shrubs that were removed while digging. They moved all the furniture to one side of the room and placed plastic around it. They rolled back the carpet in three rooms enough to jack hammer and install piers. After the piers were placed and leveled they filled the holes with concrete and let it sit for a day then they came back and replaced the carpets and placed the furniture back to the same place. This is not their fault but if anyone has this kind of work done please be prepared for all the dust that will get everywhere in the house no matter how much plastic wrap they used. I am going to have to hire a maid service to help me get rid of all the dust. After the concrete sat for a day they came back and swept and mopped the floors and you can't tell by these photos but it looked ok when they left.

We were promptly contacted to set up an appointment. Kevin arrived on time and proceeded to inspect our property. He was extremely professional and answered all of my questions. We are extremely pleased with everything!

It went very well. The day of the project the guys worked quickly and completed the entire project in about 6 hours. They send an external engineering firm to confirm measurements and the need for work both before AND after the work is performed. Another foundation company quoted double the price, for the same number of piers.

It was the time that she took to explain to me and she explained to me the difference and more than just general information.

They were punctual. The men worked hard and fast. They went over and above in helping fix my foundation problems. I would recommend them to everyone I know. I'm very, very pleased

They made an extra effort to place an interior pier via tunneling to it rather than going though a floor in the middle of a room. Very impressed!

They sent a plumber to my house but they could not find the clean outs. I had to have this done within 30 days for me to be able to have the transferable warranty.The plumber came back out and was able to find the clean out which allowed him to test the sewer line for the leak. I have attempted to contact them to request an extension but I have not been able to get in contact with them. I have left messages without a response. It is really important to me to get this warranty but they will not return my messages or phone calls. I am just needing more time to get the sewer line fixed.

The big deal with A-1 Guaranteed Foundation Repair was great. They went there. Well, every year I check my foundation and see the differences between one part of the house and the other because the soil here in Texas is too crazy. So we tested the soil and how the house is actually, specifically on my yard, if it is sinking or not, if it's getting deeper or not. So they went there. They made a huge analysis on that base. They measured the amount of inches the house is standing on one side or the other so it was great. Yes, I believe they were really good at what they are doing. The experience went really well and it was pretty much what was described in the offer. For a 50 bucks and a full foundation and evaluation, I thought it was awesome. Usually, people charge a hundred bucks to do something similar so it was great. They called me, like, less than 24 hours later after I bought the offer. They were there at the time we scheduled. I would definitely use them again in the future. This is the second time, I would definitely do it again.

A-1 was great to deal with. They didn't try to sell me on anything I didn't need (i.e. anything they offer), but he spent a lot of time explaining things I could do to prevent future issues. If I did have issues in the future, I wouldn't hesitate to use A-1. One of the better experiences I've had with a service company.

We highly recommend Steve Greenhill and the company. We received an inspection and he provided an assessment and recommendations to protect the foundation. He even gave names of vendors to install a drip line and do the dirty work required. He heard we were installing hardwood floors and he suggested we wait until the drip line has a chance to adjust the foundation. A few months later we ripped out 1000 ft of floors to prep for our install. We had a panic attack as we discovered a crack on the floor. Steve was able to meet us quickly during our construction and confirm we were OK. It was a relief that we could continue the install and not have bare floors for an upcoming party.

The first inspector inspected the foundation but he did not have all the answers to my "what-if" questions. After I called them, they sent another inspector later who did that at no charge!!
