A-1 Guaranteed Foundation Repair

A-1 Foundation responded quickly, were professional, and explainted everything very well. At this time we are not getting any repair work done.

Mr. Proctor was extremely professional. He arrived on time and he was very knowledgeable. He did a survey of the entire foundation and advised me on what I needed to correct my issue with cracking in the ceiling of my house. I will be recommending him to others in my neighborhood as the need arises.

Excellent company to work with. Very thorough in discussing how they were approaching the repair plan. Was the only company to have me get my own engineering report before quoting. Crew was timely, professional, and courteous. They finished all the work in one day and cleaned up around the house. The final engineering report was issued and came back very positive about the quality of work that was preformed. Would recommend this company to anyone needing foundation repair.

He was very thorough. He spent a lot of time making measurements and explaining to me simpler and cheaper solutions to my problems than others had proposed. Within 24 hours he sent me a detailed written report including measurements that would help me know whether additional foundation work or plumbing repairs may be needed in the future. With his advice, I believe I will be able to enhance the quality and value of my house for less expenditure on my part. He did not recommend any additional foundation work at this time.

Kevin had been to the house previously and had drawn a diagram with precise measurements. He re-measured, noticed no change and recommended we stick to the watering plan. He was prompt and courteous and told me to call him again in 2 to 5 years for a re-evaluation - unless of course I noticed more changes. I was very pleased with the experience and will call him in 2-5 years.

Kevin was ontime, very courteous and he went to work immediately. Once he completed the inspection inside and out, he thoroughly walked me through his findings. He explained how the foundation was constructed, things to keep on eye on and gave me recommendations on how I could improve my chances of mitigating foundation work in the future by improving my watering routine. I am very pleased with this company. Their customer service is impecable! Although I didn't need work at this time, I will be calling A-1 Guaranteed Foundation Repair when I do. I have already recommended them and will continue to do so.

Great. I had 2 engineers look at my foundation already and another repair firm. The first repair firm said I needed piers. Then an independent engineer said i could probably do well just installing root barriers. Then another engineer looked at it 12 mos later and said I needed 13 piers. Then A1 came out and was such a delight to talk to. They recommended 12 piers but said I can wait and see if it will resolve itself with watering and root management. They offered to come back to re-evaluate once I had better moisture management. They had better advice and insight for free than the 2nd engineer, who seemed like he was going to get a commission for recommending some work for firms. I definitely trusted A1 more. Pretty sure I will use them when I am ready to get the work done.

Price was fine. He showed up on time. He did an inspection. I didn't get a completed report because he recommended I had a foundation engineer come out for an inspection.

Each of these people served an important role in our foundation repair. It was worse than expected, but there were no complaints or additional charges. I've never seen such an outstanding, hard working group.

Highest praise for this company. They were very competitive in price and performed a few extras at no additional charge to me. They were always punctual, very courteous and always answered my questions completely and without making me feel that I was imposing on them. They finished job in time frame they had promised. They returned when I had some minor issues I was concerned about, they didn't judge my concern just addressed the issues immediately
