A-1 Guaranteed Foundation Repair

They did a great job. They came out when they said they would and did a good job. They were thorough. They didn't try to sell me anything I didn't need.

Meeting went well, Pretty much gave detail information. our home foundation is in good condition and what extra we could do to prevent any gaps between slab and lawn. Overall it was good.

The guy came out. Measured everything then told me we needed piers. He said we should use their Structural Engineer because other Structural Engineers could try to charge us more and some have their own foundation company. Of course I hired an independent Structural Engineer. He had us remove a very large tree that was only 4 feet from the house. He also said we do not need pillars. It has been a few months and all our doors are unstuck and we saved a few thousand dollars.

They did a wonderful job.. showed up as promised. Clean up after themselves... Most of our home looks wonder...

I made an appointment with these people to meet at my house to discuss foundation issues. I waited for over an hour before I called their office. I got the answering machine, left my number and have not heard from them at all. Don't waste your time with this company. They are too busy to even call you back.

It went well. They were prompt and professional. I was pleased with the service provided.

It went very fine. The person (Kevin) was very good in giving suggestions, and later sent a graph of the house layout. He answered all my questions regarding trees/foundation/watering/drip system/etc... -- very patient. Suggested Drip System installation which I am considering.

It was a raining day, but Mr. Kevin performe a comprehensive inspection and gave me a different opinion on the standing water issue. It is useful. I will redo it this summer.

Steve Greenhill from A-1 performed a complete and thorough inspection of our foundation. He took measurements throughout our house and inspected the exterior as well. Ultimately the foundation turned out to be fine. The money spent to get such a complete inspection done and the peace of mind it bought were well worth it. I would highly recommend A-1 in the future and will use them again if I ever have a foundation issue.

The price quoted was less than we expected, but are taking on the path of recommended watering plan and removing of trees that are disturbing our foundation. The recommended watering plan was clear and concise as was the recommendation of putting in shrubs that would not harm the foundation. We will work with A-1 soon to do a reevaluation to determine if there have been improvements or if we need to go ahead with the work. The A-1 rep was very knowledgeable and courteous. He was available earlier than our appointment time and asked if we would be too and it worked out very well for our schedules to knock it out early. We were very pleased overall and would not hesitate recommending this company to family and friends.

It turned out very well; I was very satisfied. They were professional and they did exactly what they said they will do. They answered any questions I had. The workmen were very nice and I was totally happy.

It was pretty good. There were no extra charges. The job was done in January because it took a long time to schedule. They were professional and it seems like they knew what they were doing. They were meticulous.

Great. From the deal I bought on Angie's List, I would have thought a detailed watering plan would have been included; but everything else was top notch.

Vendor did not even bother to contact me to schedule service per my requested timings.

The technician came out and took measurements at various corners of the house (internal). He also inspected the outside. There is some foundational drop, which I already suspected. He advised me to install soaker hoses around the front perimeter of the home to prevent further sinking. Also provided a quote for piers to fix the front end of the home.

Kevin was amazing. Professional and give us the overview we expected for our foundation. Been from a different country gives us no idea on how to deal with foundation problems and the US way of building houses. So he was very thoughtful and clear on how to explain and clarify our questions. I now know how my foundation is and have a watering plan for it.

We are very happy with the inspection these folks performed, and grateful for how well they educated us. Turns out we did NOT need any foundation repair, and they were upfront and honest in their assessment.

The bid was too high and it was more extensive than what I needed done. Their recommendation was more extensive than what we felt needed to be done. They showed up on time for the appointment.

I didn't have any problems or issues with them. I thought they were good. I think they did they said they were going to do and I was satisfied with the work.

Serivce went great - the provider did the inspection and did not upcharge me for any work that did not need to be done.
