A-1 Guaranteed Foundation Repair

Service person came to my home and looked at spalling on the corners of my foundation (chunks of concrete falling off). He did a complete assessment of my foundation. The spalling turned out to be cosmetic and can be fixed. There was not a significant issue with my foundation, fortunately. He was SO thorough and professional. If I do have a problem in the future, I will call A-1.

Mr.Greenhill did an excellent job with the inspection, consultation and follow up report/recommendations.

He came out, did the survey, set up a plumbing survey, and all was great. He was responsive, timely, and polite.

Kevin thoroughly checked our foundation, gave us some recommendations for proper maintenance. Fortunately our foundation is fine. So thankful for his honesty, and expertise.

Getting ready to sell our house so we called A1 Guaranteed to inspect our foundation. We've had cracks in floor tile and drywall over the years and some piers installed by another company in 2011. Steve came out at the appointed time and spent almost two hours inspecting and measuring. To our surprise, he said we didn't need any work done and the existing cracks were typical for our area due to seasonal fluctuations of the soil. A few days late, he provided a drawing showing the results of his measurements and some information on foundation watering. All this was done for free. Kudos to A1 Guaranteed for their honest assessment. We wanted to be able to give potential buyers some confidence that the foundation was in good shape so, at Steve's recommendation, we hired an independent PE. He came out and did the same thing Steve did and arrived at the same conclusion. The cost was $400 and he provided a certified engineer's report attesting to the condition of the foundation.

Arrived on time and very polite. He took all measurements and outlined a plan for what they thought would be needed which included outside leveling as well as drilling through the tile floor in another area inside. They quoted a price and said they would they would send a foundation engineer before work started and he would be paid separately. I decided to hire an engineer not associated with them. I am glad I did because he found everything in an exceptable range. I did have some minor cracking which can be repaired.he also said that if I watered the foundation through the hot season everything should be fine

Kevin showed up as promised, made measurments, checked elevations, explained watering needs and solutions and emailed me final elevation survey, quote for service, watering information the same evening. Suggested a watering plan for a month, call him back to remeasure and determine next steps. Met all expectations.

They were very acommodating with the schedule and arrived early as I had to go to work. He draw the whole house to scale and measured all elevations. I was surprised by his knowledge and advise. He confirmed house was leveled and minor variations should be compensated with appropriate watering and dirt addition around certain areas of the perimeter. It was a pleasure and the cost was well worth the advice! Thank you A-1!

I initially thought the inspection went well however; at a later date when my home was put on the market for sale, the anticipated buyer hired another foundation company to perform a similar inspection and several things were missed by A -1. This has now caused me issues selling my home, resulting in financial cost. A-1 came back out to defend their first inspection but the damage was already done and now I've paid for two additional inspections, including a structural engineer. Had the first inspection by A-1 revealed these problems, I could have had them repaired long before I put the house on the market for sale.

Kevin Proctor from A1-Foundations did a thorough check and gave his recommendations. We appreciated Kevin's expertise and his exuberant nature.

They were responsive to my complaint that they had not contacted me. They came out and performed a thorough inspection and provided me the results and list of necessary repairs

Wish every experience went like this. A1 promptly scheduled an appointment, and arrived on time. They were very nice, professional, knowledgeable, courteous, and helpful. Answered every question I could come up with. Above all, i never felt like they wanted to sell me something I didn't need. It appears that they are now doing the same service for $49. I considered the inspection at $55 a super deal, so 49 is wonderful! I received a call from their office a few days later, asking how my visit went. So, not only were they awesome when they came out, there wanted to make sure I was happy afterwards... And I certainly was. I would certainly use A1 if/when i need foundation repairs, and I will be recommending them to everyone I know.

Very professional & even early to the appointment. Did a complete inspection and was honest about my foundation not needing repair. Gave me tips on things I could do to protect my foundation and also showed me a couple of spots to keep an eye on. If/When the time comes where I do need foundation repair, I will definitely use this company. Extremely honest, forthright, & professional.

He did a good job. He did exactly what he said he would do. The quality was good.

Maryanna gets FIVE GOLD STARS!!!! Let me tell you she is so easy to work with and they have done everything possible to make sure I am happy. At first the wrong plumber was sent to do the post inspection but she quickly apoligized and set up for the correct plumber to do the inspection. A couple ceramic tiles cracked in my kitchen during the work but they are trying to remedy this even tho they are not obligated to. Hopefully, I will not need foundation repair in the future but if I do Maryanna has definitely earned my business!!!

I didn't use the service. After discussing the matter with my real estate agent, I concluded that the service would not be useful.

He did a visual check and some measurements. Told me the movement was due to the heavy rains. Offered to come back and remeasre the movement after the soil dried out. Said it was natural and not much could be done except hope it stabilized after the ground dried out.

I bought a big deal for this service and it went pretty well. It took about one day for the repair.

Great. Recommended following yearly for any changes. Gave me a price quote to fix very minor problem but gave me an honest recommendation about it.

Once I made contact with them, everything was great. They came out after some major rain and offered to come back in a dryer season to make sure things were still okay. They gave great recommendations in how to help protect and prevent foundation issues. The only downfall was that they took a very long time (5 months) to get back to me. Once they did, and realized their error, they were EXCELLENT.

Technician called en route and was on time for the appointment despite distance. He introduced himself and explained the process. He wore his work boots outside and changed shoes when he came inside to take measurements. He provided preliminary results upon completion and emailed me a final product the next day. I would use A-1 in the future.

The foundation inspection was very similar to what other vendors were doing for free. The water plan was minimal and a little expensive for what was delivered.
