He was very nice, respectful, and very attentive to our needs. He spent time with us and answered all of our concerns, and never made us feel rushed. He was professional but yet friendly.

The inspector Alberto Quintero was top notch. He arrived on time and was friendly, professional and thorough throughout the inspection. The entire process took about 1 1/2 hours, and upon completion he told me my foundation was fine, and that I didn't need any work.. He e-mailed me the inspection report along with a watering plan to eliminate or minimize future foundation issues. In addition he also gave me an idea of things to look for in the future that could indicate the beginning of foundation problems.To find a company that very easily could have told me I needed work when I didn't was refreshing. If I need work in the future I'll definitely be going with A1.

I have a large crack (about 12 inches) from the top of the wall to the doorway between the dining room and kitchen. I was concerned that the recent earthquakes may have caused significant damage to my pier and beam foundation since my home was built in 1948. Scheduling the appointment was convenient and the $55 coupon was great. They conveyed their findings to my Mother who met them. They followed up with a written report via email that I received one day later. They noted 3 problems: sagging in the doorway, sagging in the bathroom and dry foundation. Their report indicated the items to be repaired and advice regarding the dry foundation. What I really liked was that they said that the suggested repairs were not an emergency and could wait until further updates are done to the house. I will definitely use them again.

It was good. The guys came out and gave me a quote like they said they would. It seemed like a good company. I didn't hire them to do the work but I got a quote from them. They found some issues. They gave me a quote and the quote was a little high. It was a good deal. They seemed to do a thorough job.

Helpful and skilled staff, humble and knowledgeable - shared all findings in soft copy - provided lots of guideline / hints to maintain / take care of foundation in future.

We are extremely satisfied with this experience and would happily recommend this company. Steve called ahead and checked if we'd be available earlier and then arrived on time. He made the measurements efficiently, explained the readings, helped answer questions and walked around the house and showed us the areas where we needed to increase soil level and ensure consistent moisture control. He later emailed the report as well.

Alberto showed up on time. He examined the foundation to check on movement. There were some areas that had shifted but we decided to work on watering more frequently. He explained everything fully, gave us a reasonable quote. Responded to a call for more information in a timely way. We would use them if we decided to go forward.

It went great. The foundation expert was very professional. He did measurements of various areas in my home and showed me where the foundation was shifting. He recommended that I use a soaker hose to prevent and possibly help fix the foundation's shifting.

The came out twice since the first time the came, we had just had all that rain and the ground was swollen. He wanted to make sure that the measurements weren't inflated by the recent heavy rains. so we now have two set of measurements and a better understanding of how our foundation is moving in relation to the moisture or lack there of in the ground. He also recommended that we have our plumbing checked for leaks based on the measurements and the directionality of how our house is moving. Turns out we do have a sewer water leak. He recommended that we look at getting the pumping fixed before even touching the foundation. I appreciate the honesty very much and the willingness to give an accurate report of the amount and kind of foundation work my house requires.

Great! I had to cancel because of a death in the family, but they were most accommodating in rescheduling. Excellent service from everyone I came into contact with. I had requested Kevin because of positive reviews on Angie's List, and he did not disappoint. He was quick to point out that our foundation was in good shape and gave tips about how to keep it that way. Learned so much! Would not hesitate to recommend.

He was amazing, Very thorough, the report he provided was comprehensive. He not only checked the foundation for cracks, he checked foundation levels through out the house! The inspection was worth a lot more than $50!

Incredibly professional. I was able to schedule with them fairly quickly. They came out measured the variances in my home. Drew a map and explained to me the results. Upon review told me he wouldn't recommend repairs at this time, but also told me how to avoid needing repairs. Then emailed me his finding and recommendations.

canceled on me 3 times for a family emergency each time. I made the last appointment prior to the 30 day cancelation policy for them to call and cancel my appointment after policy had expired. We are all human, but come on, you really didn't seem to need the business or are too overbooked.

We were needing a second opinion on foundation issues we were having. Since our foundation is covered under warranty by a different foundation company we were told that the shifting wasn't too much to be concerned about. Aside from the cosmetic issues we were having it was obvious there were foundation issues. We had someone from A-1 come out and inspect our foundation and provide a watering plan and took their measurements/information back to our foundation company along with a structural engineer's recommendations we obtained and had our foundation repaired. They were very helpful and professional.

WENT VERY WELL. HE CAME AT THE TIME HE SAID HE WOULD TOOK MEASUREMENTS OF THE HOUSE,. HE EXPLAINED WHAT WAS CAUSING MY PROBLEM AND SUGGESTED A SOLUTION.

Took the time to go over all the results. House is 25+ years old and he found no issues. Provided us with a watering plan so we can prevent issues later.

Provider provided a sketch of current house foundation slope angle. And provide general slab foundation watering tips for the but not specifics for the house which I originally thought it would be.

First had to call and reschedule because no one showed for the first appointment. The Estimator showed for the second appointment and spent considerable time taking measurements, talking with me about the different symptoms of foundation problems and calculating the scope of the problem. Then he gave me a receipt for the "inspection" and said an engineer would be calling me with a formal action plan and pricing. To this day I have not heard from this business in any way (phone, email, text). So don't bother and find a company with a much better rating.

He did detailed inspection and measurements of the foundation with his tools and explained to me by drawing where the ground was settled and how many centimeters it was settled. After he went to his office, he sent me the drawing and the recommendations.Steve was very professional.

Inspector Steve Greenhill did an outstanding job. I was very impressed by the detail in executing the foundation inspection. I had no idea the amount of time and detail that was involved. He was very clear on his findings and let me know some preventative solutions to keep the foundation in great shape. Very friendly and on-time!

Everything was pretty easy. They were punctual, friendly, and worked with my schedule. On the day of the install, they brought a large team of 14 guys. They started about 15 minutes earlier than expected to get a jump start on the heat. Mario was the foreman and he was very professional and courteous. They worked tirelessly and quickly, explaining every detail with patience. Many of the guys were singing and cheerful. I gotta say, oddly enough, made me pretty happy to see that because this is some hard work they were putting in. Anyway, they were done in about 4.5 hours. Nice and level. Fantastic job!
