Description of Work: The rep came out and did a thorough look through and around the house, and gave recommendations on foundation watering as well as some landscaping issues. He was very helpful in determining the health of the foundation. We had been concerned about a gap between the garage door and the garage door frame, and he gave us helpful input.

Description of Work: The provider did a complete inspection of the foundation inside and outside the house. He offered to return in the summer and recheck. He is very knowledgable and was able to answer all of our questions. Our house does not need foundation repair at this time. We are relieved and will likely follow his recommendations for a drip line. We learned a great deal about the construction of this house and any future homes we might build or possess. His information about the trees and foliage was valuable.

Description of Work: "I have cracks appearing in my ceiling upstairs, and cracks in the tile in my downstairs restroom. | |Used an Angie's List coupon to have the A-1 team come out and let me know what the status of my foundation is. | |After an inspection of the cracks and a walk around of my home it was determined my foundation was starting to slip, but if I started a more robust watering program I would likely not need to have service performed. | |He then used a measurement tool to gauge where the foundation is sinking, and by how much. | |I received a detailed drawing in my email, along with a quote should I move forward with pillars. | |This spring I will have an underground watering system installed into my automatic sprinklers and then have A-1 come out at the end of the summer to determine if the watering program worked or not. | |After seeing cracks and hearing rumors about expense and headaches associated with foundation repair ... it was a real relief to deal with a company who could have very easily recommended a repair, but did the honest thing and coached me through how to prevent having to go through such a major expense and repair to my home. | |I would recommend A-1."
