Description of Work: These guys rocked the house! My husband and I just purchased a 1930 home and were told that we had quite a bit of foundation work that needed done. Needless to say, we were very concerned that we were in over our head as we were told from other foundation specialists that the cost would range from $7-$10k. My colleague had urged me to get one more bid before I settled on a foundation guy. I found Jeff through Angie's list and shot him an email. He responded immediately (on a Sunday!) and scheduled to come out Wednesday. He was super friendly when he arrived (despite the pouring, freezing rain). They went quickly to work, using their fancy measuring tools to measure how level the house was and all that other stuff (sorry, I'm not familiar with all the proper terminology). Jeff even crawled under the house (again it's cold and raining outside) and inspected all our pier and beams. When they were done, he came back and gave us suggestions of things we needed to do to maintain the house and stated that the items listed by the other foundation companies (that he also mentioned was too high of a cost for the work), was nice to do, but not immediately necessary. We feel really blessed to have met Jeff and his team. He was completely honest with us, very respectful and gave us great advice as if we were his friends/family. We would've used Jeff & team, but there wasn't any work to be done! What a sigh of relief and blessing. We have referred Jeff to our close friends and will definately be calling on him if anything we ever need foundation work.

Description of Work: Conducted an internal and external review of home, taking elevations throughout the home. Identified areas that needed maintenance. Were thorough, but not pushy. Very knowledgeable. Gave many options for service needed.

Description of Work: I had them come out, assess my foundation issues, and make an estimate. I haven't picked a firm yet to make this repair. But I was very pleased with how knowledgeable they were, and with their recommendations. They did a very good job on the assessment and made some suggestions to try before I spend a lot of money on unneeded repairs. I will call them again if needed.

Description of Work: A1 Guaranteed Foundation came out the same day we called, gave us a quote/bid that evening & came out & did the work as promised 2 days later. We had very dry conditions around our foundation that had not been addressed. They came out and installed soaker hoses around the perimeter of the house with a timer and buried the hose in all visible & accessible places. They installed 2 root barriers (1 in front & 1 in back yard) keeping the tree roots away from the house. They also inspected & repaired our irrigation system back to full working order. They disassembled an old shed in the backyard and carried it off. They also removed a tree from the backyard and carried it off as well. This was all done in a timely and professional manner and I plan on having them back for future work around our house. They went above and beyond what they said they would do and made sure we were happy with everything before they left. I would highly recommend A1 Guaranteed Foundation for more than just foundation work...they were knowledgable in anything and everything I asked them about.
