The Garage King

I am completely satisfied. The racks are wonderful and just what I needed to bring order to my garage. Garage King staff are professional, responsive and easy to work with. They were flexible with install dates as my schedule changed and arrived on the install date on time. The installer worked quickly and professionally. Customer service is outstanding and I fell valued as a customer. If you are looking for storage solutions or just want to make room for your car in the garage, I highly recommend Garage King.

Our experience the The Garage King was excellent. From getting the quote to final install every aspect of the job was friendly and professional. I initially expected to install the storage racks along one of the garage walls, but during the estimate we decided to put them above the garage doors. That way the stored materials are out of sight from the street and we hardly notice them from inside the garage. The installation went very smoothly - these guys know what they are doing! We had no issues and I had the storage racks filled up the same afternoon that they were installed. I recommend The Garage King if you need more storage space.

The price was kind of a lot, but we did research and that is about what it cost. Actually, they ended upgrading us. They had too much of the silver. We were just going to get the white. So we got silver which looks better than the other one we were going to get. That was cool of them. They come out and measure your garage to find out the optimum place to put the storage unit. They kind of map it out for you. Then a week later, some guy comes in and takes him about an hour to install it. He was super nice. He came on time, did his thing, and left.

Two gentlemen showed up on the scheduled day and installed one overhead storage rack in about an hour.

Garage King personnel were on schedule and on time and performed the work with no problems. The racks look good and hold plenty of items.

Arrived at agreed upon time. Explained the process. Tried to upsell me a little needed item, a support bar for the door. All and all a satisfactory experience.

The gentleman that came out to do the estimates and explain our options was excellent to work with. He took the time to explain options. He was careful and thorough in his communication. He explained how we should prepare the garage for when the work was to be done - basically free of clutter and cars out of the way so the work could be done with minimum fuss. Some of the communication with the main office was spotty. They dropped the ball on the updates I had asked for and failed to follow up with me. I think they had a staffing issue and had a temp person taking calls. I had to follow up a couple of times on the revised estimate for the update I made. The work itself was good. The person showed up on time and worked quickly. He reviewed it with me when it was done. It looks great, is rock solid and best of all gives us a ton of new storage in the garage. I really like the design with the open slats so you can see what's overhead.

You must buy their product in order for them to do the work. otherwise they are very nice and professional and if I ever need to buy new items I will consider their costs vs Lowes and others.

Justin and his partner arrived within the agreed upon window and ensured that the specifications for installation were correct before beginning. Both were friendly and professional. Installation of the four racks took about two hours and went without a hitch. Material quality is better than others I have seen in home improvement stores and they back it with a life-time guarantee. I just hope I never have to call them on it. Overall, an "A" for service and although it is pricey, I think the better craftsmanship is worth the price.

Great communications from start to finish. They do an excellent job of taking all measurements for your space so that if you need to add storage later, they know exactly what the space layout is and what will work best. The estimate and the install was very punctual and professional. Good people to work with. The installation was done quickly and exactly as was specified. I would recommend them to a friend, or use their services again!

Estimator arrived on time. Provide a quote on Phase I of my garage storage build out and did the measurements for Phase II (above the garage door). Installer came on time and completed the high quality job. These systems are somewhat expensive but Garage King is local and only slightly higher price than the competition. They also provide an Angie's list discount. I'm about to hire them for Phase II since we are already out of room now that we have moved into this new condo.

They came out, gave an estimate, and then they set a date to install it. They were here on time, and they did the job quickly, and it worked out fine. I didn't compare the prices, but I think their price was fair.

Love the organized garage. Assisted me in looking at my stuff and picking out all the right hangers and hooks. Garage soooo organized!

Spoke to them at the Home and Garden Show and explained that I was interested but was still waiting on the closing of my home purchase. They said to call them when I was ready and offered to give me the same discount available to folks that signed up during the show. Once I was ready, I had to play a bit of telephone tag until I finally spoke to a real person. They were pretty accommodating with my schedule and showed up on time for the measurements and estimate. I made the deal on the spot. I got a call Monday of the week of the scheduled installation indicating there was a chance the installation could be moved up two days. I accepted on the condition they give me a 1 hour notice to allow me to return home and open up for them. They called as we agreed. The installation crew arrived on time and were very business-like. They completed the installation and clean up and locked up the garage upon departure. Upon inspection later that evening, everything appeared to have been completed in a workman-like manner with the quality of materials as advertised. I am completely satisfied.

They were good and showed up on time. The guy showed up for the estimate and gave a drawing of the plans. He was knowledgeable about his and other companies products. The workers showed up on time and cleaned up very well. The customer service on the phone could be improved slightly, but that would be my only complaint. It was expensive but in line with their competitors.

From the estimator to scheduler to installers, all were on time, courteous and professional. Wishing all contractors were as on top of all this!

It all went well, but they are very busy so you may not get on their calendar immediately. But, its worth the wait.

We were looking for garage doors, so they gave us an estimate and the estimation was free if you bought the shelves. They were very efficient and fast.

It was a good experience. We saw them at a Home Show and ordered the shelves at a discount. Since they had such an overwhelming response at the show, they ran out of some options and they did have to call us to let us know the options for the shelves that were still open. This was completely out of their control, though, and I am very happy that they were proactive about contacting us. We went with silver, galvanized steel shelves and they stuck with original date for the work. The product was as advertised and they did a good job with the shelves. It holds everything as we thought it would. They gave us extra brackets for the unit and gave a thorough explanation on how to move the shelves up and down as needed.

It went really well. They do excellent work and we are very pleased with the product.

Initially they did mess up the order but came back and corrected the mistake. They are very busy so it takes them a long time to come back but when they do they do a good job.

We found this product at the San antonio Home and Garden Show. It was exactly what we needed so we ordered one on the spot. It was delivered and installed as promised. Installation was quick and professional. We are very happy with the storage rack and Garage King.
