I was being sued by my neighbor for fence damage and I needed an estimate for the damages. I sent these guys a picture of the damage, and asked for an estimate, with the understanding that no work would actually be done. I just needed estimates for the court. Even though there was nothing to be gained by helping me, they still took time to look at the damage and send me a quote. I asked quite a few repairmen for an estimate, and most just ignored me. But they helped me out even when they had nothing to gain. I think that says a lot about someone.

The installation process went OK. Workers showed up on time, did the install and cleaned up before leaving. The problems came afterward when defects in the installation became apparent. Pro-Fence did not respond quickly but rather delayed coming until "workers were in the area." The company purchased lumber from Lowes instead of a wholesaler, and left the retail price tags on each piece (hundreds). These tags kept coming off and littering the lawn. A person showed up and removed some but not all tags. More important was that some posts (set in concrete) were loose and the fence was wobbly in places. I was told all this would be taken care of. It is now seven months later and no one is coming to repair these defects. This company wants your work and will compete with price.... but.... if you have problems afterwards, don't look for swift or even slow response. Once they're done, it seems they don't want to know you.

I really wouldn't recommend them, some parts they did well, some parts not.

A group of neighbors went in together to get the fence installed. We got a volume discount. Pro Fence did a great job coordinating the work and billing among the neighbors. They use good quality materials, and the quality of the work was great. We had one problem with a gate, and they came right back out to fix it.
