Dan with Monarch does not stand behind his product. I purchased a slab of granite for a kitchen island from Monarch. When it was delivered and installed we didn't notice an issue. However, within hours of Monarch leaving we noticed a long hairline crack in the granite that went all the way through for about 8 inches. We immediately contacted Dan and asked to have it replaced. Dan asked for pictures, which we sent. After that, nothing. Dan won't return our calls, pretends he's someone else when he does pick up or just hangs up on us. I don't think it is unreasonable to expect a new piece of granite to be replaced with the exact same thing if delivered and installed cracked. Terrible company.

Dan stopped by to take a look at the items I needed him to work on. He stated he would follow up with an estimated via email. I sent him a text 3 days later asking for the estimate. As of today. ... I haven't heard from him.

Good. Dan with Monarch was very professional and responsive. His pricing was very reasonable. If I ever had a question, he was more than happy to address it. After I changed my mind with some of the tile backsplash, he removed it and installed the new backsplash that I picked out without giving me grief. I am very happy with the outcome and would definitely use his services again.
Description of Work: Kitchen Remodel: Laid new 12"x24" tiles throughout kitchen, removed old countertops, coordinated and led install of new granite countertops, installed recessed lighting, removed and patched light box in ceiling, installed new doors, painted cabinets, built shelves, rotated island, installed new sink, replaced drywall behind backsplash, installed new backsplash.
