+ 0 moreMy old gate operator was more than a decade old and I was looking for a new mechanism. The cost was a little more than I initially expected but the installed product has met an exceeded my expectations.
Description of Work: The service was great, an automatic remote controlled gate opener that is whisper quiet.

+ 0 moreI don't remember exactly who reccomneded IronCrafters. I do know that when I first met Stewart he was very straight forward with what would work and wouldn't work. Stewart and his crew came out and installed everything and were all very professional. I used his services on two ocassions. The first was the fence and gate across my driveway and the second time was when I needed a shorter 4' fence to keep my grandchildren from just wandering up to the swimming pool. I will use him again if I need more work and reccomend him to anyone looking for this type product. 4 thumbs up.
Description of Work: Wrought Iron sculptured fencing, with gate and controller installed on the driveway and 4' fence installed separating the pool from the house.

+ -1 moreRather than just cement the post in the soil, he created a custom brace for the post and bolted the assembly to the slab for my house. In the 6 years since he installed this brace, the gate has had outstanding performance.
Description of Work: Modification of installed ornamental metal gate with an electric operator. I have a nice ornamental metal gate that goes across my driveway. Although the original vendor made a nice product, the installation was insufficient, causing the mounting post to sag and the gate to scrape across the driveway. Mr. Pilcher, though he had not sold me the gate, corrected the problem with a superior installation at a reasonable price.
