Description of Work: Bob installed all new faucets in our home. He also installed a new kitchen sink. He did a great job. He was very responsive and helpful. I would hire him in a minute.

Description of Work: I had a water heater that wasn't putting out hot water. I had one company come out and take a look, and within 15 minutes told me that the burner and controls needed to be replaced. The 5 year old water heater was still under warranty when it came to parts. They quoted me $600 for labor to repair it (and that was after a 15% discount!), or they told me I could replace it for $1,400 - a 5 year old water heater!! I had a "membership" with this company, which is why I got the "discount" in the first place, because they had done a repair for me previously with good quality at a reasonable price. I decided to get another quote to see if they were being reasonable. That day I saw Bob's pickup in my neighborhood. I got on Angie's List, and low and behold, he was a local provider that had several high ratings. I decided to give him a try, and I was not disappointed. He did a more thorough diagnosis of the problem before making his recommendation. The controls did need to be replaced, but he only charged me $200 to do it. After replacing the controls, he was still having a problem getting it to light. He came back as scheduled and continued diagnosing the problem. Very quickly he discovered that one of the control wires had gotten wet, and after drying it out, everything worked like a charm. He didn't even charge me for the second visit.

Description of Work: Water heater install in a manufactured home.

Description of Work: Early evening the day before Christmas Eve, we found water dripping from the ceiling in our laundry room. We found Foster's Plumbing on Angie's List which had good reviews. Bob was working with another customer that evening but was willing to come out and take a look at our problem on Christmas Eve. He did some exploration to determine if the leak was from the upstairs bathroom (right above the laundry room) or from somewhere else. Turns out, we had a flexible copper pipe running from the waterheater, which was located in the attic above the garage, that was leaking and needed to be replaced. Thankfully, Bob had the part on his truck and had the problem diagnosed and fixed quickly.

Description of Work: According to the Whirlpool service, we needed to replace the heating elements in our water heater. After searching Angie's List we found Foster's Plumbing due to the proximity to our house. All parts were under warranty so we just needed a plumber to install the elements. Bob Foster did the work after having to spend the better part of the day unclogging the drain and then draining the heater. As it turned out, that was not the problem. We called Whirlpool again and since the heater was under warranty they just replaced the water heater. Called Bob Foster again and he came out and took out the old water heater and replaced it with the new one.

Description of Work: He reset the garbage disposal in the sink, which was not mounted correctly by our home builder and adjusted one our toilets which was not flushing correctly.

Description of Work: Repair leak close to the main shutoff valve in front of the house

Description of Work: Fixed toilet, fixed under bathroom sink constructed in 70s that previous owner had duct taped the pipes together, metal to pvc taped and a pvc connector that had broken and been taped as well. Also, replaced stopper that no longer functioned.

Description of Work: Upstairs sink was clogged and I could not, without just taking everything apart, fix it. Very pleased with the work, would absolutely hire again. Up and fixed in 30 minutes.
