After talking to several plumbers in the Austin area, Excalibur Plumbing was easily the best deal on a water heater installation. Most plumbers estimated $1600-1700 for a gas water heater w/ 6-year parts & 1-year labor warranty. Excalibur Plumbing was running a deal for $1600 which was 10-year parts AND labor warranty. Additionally, Excalibur Plumbing had a 'flat fee' which means any complications or modifications were covered under the price. No unexpected labor or material costs. Overall they were very quick to get my appointment setup and arrive to my home. The technician was not particularly friendly but he was very professional none-the-less. The job was done and done well. Would use Excalibur Plumbing again for sure.

We got several estimates for a new hot water heater but Excalibur provided the best information and pricing by far. While some companies were vague or even withheld details about the type heater they would install, Excalibur was forthcoming and informative. We saved several hundred to $1500 compared to other quotes. They were prompt and expedient. Their work was very professional and thorough - they provided drain pan, flex lines, connectors, and expansion tank at no extra cost. We felt extremely fortunate to find them. Highly recommended.

All very fine. The knob for the bath was not on hand. Had to go get it, which time counted in the cost. I wanted the spray hose secured at the kitchen sink (not mentioned in my initial call for appointment, however). It had a missing nut, but none was in the truck and couldn't be done. This being noted I thought the service done was excellent and I recommend them.

this is the third or fourth time i've had to call for plumbing help. i will continue to call excalibur. they're friendly, professional, they do great work quickly, and they are able to fit me into their schedule pretty quickly too. after all the work they've done for us i sort of wish they had a punch card so after ten calls i could get one for free. :D

Called Friday @ 3:00 and technician was at our house by 3:30 the same day. Completed the job in ~1 hour. Outstanding!

As it turned out it was our water softener that wasn't working. They detached the water heater from the softener and flushed the water heater. It was then working properly.

Excalibur responded same day and did an outstanding job. They had to cut into the drywall, test the valve and connected lines and then perform the fix. The worked very efficiently and did an excellent job on the repair.

I called for an estimate on a new water heater. The techs arrived on time, gave me the estimate, and were prepared to perform the work at that time if I chose. Since the estimate was in line with others I received and this company had a good rating, I decided to proceed. Work was completed in a timely manner, techs were personable and professional. I'm pleased with the installation.

I smelled a gas leak after installing a cooktop, and was unable to locate the source of the leak. I called Excalibur Plumbing, and they said they could get someone out that afternoon. They called me 30 minutes before the crew headed my direction, to make sure I was available. Jacob and Mike arrived right on time, and quickly determined the source of the leak. They were very competent, courteous, and amicable. They took the time to explain what the problem was, and how they were going to fix it. I am very pleased with the work and price. I will definitely call Excalibur again the next time I need plumbing assistance.

Very well - they arrived when they said they would, performed the work in a professional manner & cleaned up afterward. I will use them again; in fact, I just called them today to arrange a shower cartridge and set up an appointment.

I have used Excalibur on several occasions and have been pleased. I shopped for a good plumber for several years and continued to be disappointed until I found Excalibur. They will be my plumber of choice in the future.

thermostat got replaced and HVAC started working

Excalibur was very responsive when I called, and were able to schedule the appointment in a timely manner. I never felt that they tried to up sell me. They gave me a price and did warn me that if the ring below was damaged, or, since the house is very old, things needed to be adapted, then it would be extra. It turned out that all was ok I did not incur additional costs. They were punctual and all seems to be working great!

They had to come out twice due to us needing to but some different parts to complete the work. Both times they were on time, professional, and completed all the work in a timely manner. Work done was good quality and we would definitely do business with them again.

Everything was great. The proposal was less costly than others. The install was excellent even though it was in the attic. They were able to drain old one before removal even though it was plugged up. The new unit was installed better than the one they removed. The guys were very professional and completed the job faster than they estimated. Left everything clean. I am very happy from A to Z.
