Description of Work: Replaced 2 hose bibs, & installed owner supplied faucets (kitchen/bathroom)

Description of Work: I called them since my real estate agent referred me to them to fix a leak in my bathroom (shower faucet) and also to install a water softener. The guy who came out at first seemed very nice, but didn't seem to know how to install the water softener. As he was doing it, there was still water in the pipe and it burst open all over my garage. He was apologetic and nice, but there were still problems. I ended up with no hot water for 36 hours. I called Excalibur Plumbing 4 times, and kept being told someone would call me. Finally, they sent the same guy out. Turns out he forgot to turn some knob above the water heater to allow hot water to flow. Then, I had another problem in that the water softener was not working right. I hired another plumbing company come out after to give me an estimate to check it. They immediately looked at it, saw that 1. the lines were cross contaminating one another (the drainage was going into the same section as the inflow of water), and also that there was no emergency shutoff valve! I called Excalibur another 3 or 4 times. finally, they said a master plumber would come out to fix it. I took the second half of work off, waited for my window of time, and then got a call just when they were supposed to arrive, and they said the master plumber is busy so they are going to send the same guy out who initially installed it (NO!). I was about to contest the credit card for the charge since they really were not providing the service they guaranteed (I am also an attorney). Finally, after I told them that, Blake showed up. He agreed that the first guy who installed the water softener didn't do it right. He fixed it. Since then, I called twice and was told someone would call me back (to fix the fact that the water softener is not moving the salt--and hasn't since they installed it in August). I still have yet to get a call back. Last time I spoke with the dispatch guy, I said, "Are you SURE someone will call me back? I called twice already and haven't heard." He said, "Yes, I am the one who gets the calls and will make sure someone calls you back." Please save yourself the time and energy with this company. The two men who came to give me the estimate to fix Excalibur's screwup to begin with actually used to work for Excalibur. They didn't charge me for their estimate, and told me to just call Exc. back and tell them to fix their error. I would go with this other company instead. Rather than make this a marketing review, I will leave the name of the other company out, but PLEASE DO NOT USE EXCALIBUR. I will also forward this to my real estate agent with Keller Williams (Heyl Group).

Description of Work: I called them to bid a new hot water heater...They came out with one and |we negotiated price and after they looked at it they had to go to a warehouse |and find another part that needed to be put on this hot water heater...There |were 2 workers here and then 1 left and was gone about an hour which made the |process slower..I had to call about a month later to be sure they called the |city of cedar park to come out and ok the install....which they did after |I called them around May 27th....which should have been done immediately |after the install so it could be approved and i would know it was okay. |But all in all they were fine.........

Description of Work: Replaced the new faucet and installed new valve below the sink. This was requested service and Excalibur was prompt in both their initial conversation and arriving for the repair service (which was next-day). While they were on-site, they also identified the primary water shut-off valve, replaced faucet bibs on two outdoor faucets (unscheduled service), and provided estimates for toilet rebuilds from current, older ball valve systems as well as re-routing a gas line for our hot tub. Their plumber spent as much time as I needed for the scheduled service, as well as answering any questions I had and performing additional maintenance we needed. Great job!

Description of Work: Replaced water heater in my condo. Replacement went ok.

Description of Work: Never responded with quote for replacement HVAC and water heater that I requested. Charged me way to much to run a hose from my water heater to the street to "flush" it. Was completely unhelpful when it came to diagnosing my low water pressure problem. Didn't provide quote for replacement of my Pressure Reduction Valve either!

Description of Work: They drained my tankless water heater. I was impressed by their professionalism - arriving on time, professional clothing (as opposed to tank top and flip flops which I have seen for workmen doing the same job) and a reasonable price (I'd paid nearly double this same job with another company). I would definitely use them again and recommend them to others.

Description of Work: I originally asked for the inspection of my pipes, but I needed so much more. I ended up getting a kitchen faucet installed, my water heater serviced, and my washing machine connections replaced. The gentleman was very polite and prompt. He gave me all my options and did a great job.

Description of Work: Drained hot water heater. I ended up replacing it, due to its age, through them. I got a good price, an overflow sensor, and a good install.

Description of Work: I purchased a Big Deal from this company for $39 for a Plumbing Service Call, Plus Credit Toward Repairs. They replaced 2 new toilets and a water heater. That turned out fine and they were able to get that done the same day. I was overall satisfied.

Description of Work: We had one of our water heaters go out when we had a house guest. I called in the morning and by the afternoon the plumber was here replacing it. This company was very courteous and professional. I appreciated the quickness of their response as well. I thought the price was within average cost as well and they didn't try to sell me something I didn't want. They just clearly gave me the options and I chose which one fit into the budget.

Description of Work: The sewer pipe between my house and the street connection broke. The Memorial Days rains went through the broken pipe and flooded my house. They came almost immediately when called, showed me what the problem was and fixed it. They were very professional and tried very hard to put my grass back the way it was before they dug. I will use them again for all my future plumbing needs. I have already recommended them to friends.

Description of Work: Came out to one of my client's homes with a "snake" with a camera and a GPS and helped diagnose several areas of plumbing leaks where cast iron plumbing pipes which they thought had been replaced still existed. |

Description of Work: Work was good, price was a little high for basically tightening up a leaking overflow/vent fitting. I had them come to my house that I rent out so most of the information (besides billing) for this review comes from them.

Description of Work: Had them come out to give us a quote on a new water heater, static pressure test, and some water damage on our ceiling. He suggested not doing the static pressure test because we would have already seen damage since the water had been on for a week. He told us he had a water heater in the truck he could install that day for $1550 and he would give us the diagnostic for the water damage ceiling for free. We knew we could get the water heater a little cheaper but for convenience went ahead. Water damage turned out fine, and the water heater works great!

Description of Work: I called because I have a leaking water heater. I explained the situation, that I am leaving town tomorrow at 2:00. He said let me check the schedule. He offered to have someone out between 11:00 and 2:00. I said "oh that is too late but thank you". He promptly hung up on me. Unacceptable!!
