Description of Work: They installed a new water heater. They did bring the installation up to code. Initially the communication about bringing up to code was not very clear. I kept on asking about it. They were responsive. However, when a plumber finally showed up and I asked again, he readily agreed and completed the task. | |-Chandra

Description of Work: I had Excalibur replace a twelve year old water heater, which wasn't worth repairing. |My new water heater is working well and I am glad I got rid of the old one. I thought the repairman did an excellent job and I would recommend this company.

Description of Work: Replaced a leaking/unusable water heater that had erupted. Provided (purchase) a new water heater. Connected the new water heater and also installed a drain to prevent water from leaking into the house, if there was another emergency. Note: The unusable unit erupted and water leaked into the house. Set the proper stand/support for the new unit and hauled off the old unit. This was on a weekend (Saturday morning when the unit erupted) and they responded in the afternoon. The technician worked until the evening, because he did not have all parts readily available, so he traveled to his shop and returned to assure the job was completed and we (my wife and I) were completely satisfied. Other providers called were either not available or could not respond until either Monday or Tuesday. This company responded and was very/quite professional from start to finish. Thanks Angie's list for having this company listed. They earned a 'Gold' 5 star rating for response, service, professionalism, and above all providing excellent communications. Well worth every penny spent and then some!

Description of Work: They were very professional and helpful, corrected the problem quickly. I felt it was a little pricy for what had to be done, replacing the GFCI outlet.

Description of Work: Replaced plumbing under two lavatory sinks and kitchen sink and installed a premium garbage disposal under the kitchen sink. Arrived within two hours, and we didn't have an emergency, finished in under two hours more. Two man crew. Great, professional work.

Description of Work: I have used Excaliber in the past and reccomend them to our neighborhood several times. Usually satisfied. Last couple estimates were very high,had the work done elsewhere for way less. I wanted to use them this time, I am a loyal customer. I had a leak in my garbage disposal. Called Wednesday morning for an appt. Said I could be there at 330.,I d have to leave work. They said they d call me ~30-40 minutes prior. Left work at 315. Sat till 4:48,called and was told on the way. OK, I wasted almost 2hours but OK. Guy got there,said "its leaking" uh yea I know that. Told me it would have to replace it. I had already shopped around and a 1/2 hp unit was $79-125 bucks, so I figured 20 minutes work , I d be out under $200.00 He quoted me $398!!!! That was with the $60 Angie's coupon. I almost fainted. Laughed and said "call you office that is way too high." He came back with $299.00 Needless to say we did not do business. I bought a name brand disposal at Home Depot for $82.00 and I ll do it myself this weekend. Disappointed the price was so high. I'll be reluctant to call them in the future for services.
