Description of Work: I purchased the whole house plumbing inspection deal through Angie's List because my water bill was outrageous. Even though he said the deal was for the inside of the house, he found that the sprinkler had a leak and shut it down.

He was super helpful taking a look at all my other systems----kitchen, bathrooms, laundry room, showers, tubs. He quickly helped me fix two items. He was super efficient, clean and spot-on.

Description of Work: I used Excalibur Plumbing and was satisfied with the service. Sean was at my house in a matter of minutes, was very pleasant and explained what was causing the problem. He adjusted the pressure relief valves. I did have to call him to come back later to readjust the water pressure and he did so without any hesitation and did not charge me another service call. I will definitely use Excalibur again.

Description of Work: I asked Excalibur to come over and install a kitchen faceut and check my water pressure.Excalibur arrived 10mins early - phoned me in advance to see if that was OK. The fellow who did the work was professional and did a good job. Its been a while since I have had a plumber out but I did suffer sticker shock.I found them very expensive around $300 for one hours work - just labor no parts. The AngieList coupon reduced it to around $250.I was happy with there work but will be looking for alternatives based on there fees.I rated them a C purely on cost. ** response to provider The provider never mentioned replacing flex line - I have no idea if he did or didn't. Believe me at $250 for one hours work I did not consider I was getting anything for free. There is usually urgency around plumbing tasks - that is why I decided to accept the cost. Excalibur does have a price sheet so I recommend you ask them to email it to you before getting work done by them. Alternatively get several quotes. As I said the work was fine but I found the fees excessive. $120-$150 for an hours work would have been reasonable. **

Description of Work: Shawn showed up when he said he would, even called me before hand to verify that I was expecting him. Very professional, but friendly. We had a stopped up shower drain, and he explained to me each of the multiple steps he had to go thru to clear our drain. Water backed up in one of the bathroom sinks, and he even cleaned the sink before he left. I will call Excalibur plumbing and ask for Shawn if we ever need a plumber again. Mike Saxon

Description of Work: It was nearlhy the night before Christmas. . . but not quite. I woke up and noticed a pool of water coming out from under my kitchen sink onto the floor. With company coming and the holidays approaching, i was concerned if I could get a plumber out to my house, but I called Excalibur and they were able to send out a workman within a few hours. He called before he came, was pleasant and went right to work. He discovered the problem - a kitchen sink spray attachment - that hadj rotted out and began to leak. He tried to find a small part to replace so the entire fixture wouldn't have to be changed, but he was not able to find it, though he called all over town to plumbing supplies. Finally he called me and told me the problem of the part, and recommended that I just replace the entire spray mechanism. Fortunately this was not terribly expensive, so he brought the replacement, installed it with alacrity, and I was up and running for Christmas cooking and baking in no time. I was really relieved.

Description of Work: My gas powered hot water heater went out on Saturday during the day. I called these guys and they helped me trouble shoot over the phone, which was nice. Then they gave me all options and what the cost would be right then. They came out and fixed the hot water heater immediately. Very quick service and helpful. The technician they sent, Sean, was extremely helpful, professional, and showed me how everything was done. Overall positive experience. I would hire them again.

Description of Work: Sean was wonderful. He did the flushes on my two water heaters and then did a full house inspection. He discovered one of my toilets had a leak. He first tried fixing the problem but discovered it was not fixable, so on the spot he got me a new toilet and installed it! The toilet was reasonably priced and the installation fee was built in. He also installed two flood stoppers for me. And he advised me on a worry I had about my attic water heater. I am no longer worried on how to deal with that issue when it arrives. Sean was professional, kind, thoughtful, punctual, and very proficient at his job even carrying a brand new toilet over his shoulder! I never knew having a toilet replaced would be a pleasurable experience, but Sean made it so.

Description of Work: Sean and his helper came on time and gave me an estimate, then proceeded to check the plumbing in all the rooms of my home to be sure all was ok, then installed a new kitchen faucet that I had purchased at Costco. I was going to do it myself, but once I got into it, I realized it was not as easy as I thought. Sean did a thourough job and took the time to be sure that nothing leaked once he was done. Excellent experience.

Description of Work: I needed a french drain dug for water drainage which was the most expensive part of the job. They also replaced two toilets, the outside water spigots, and checked all of my plumbing areas replacing hoses and draining the water heater. This all happened within about two hours and there was nothing to clean up after. They were courteous, respectful, and very easy to work with giving me tips for making things work better and last longer along the way. This was the easiest house repair I have ever been through.

Description of Work: This is a follow up to my prior report. In the prior report I stated that Blake had to change out the toilet kit a second time as the first kit done not work. After Blake left we found that the toilet still was leaking even after two different kits were installed. Blake had explained before he left that all work was guaranteed for two years and if we want to purchase a new toilet within 30 days the money we had already spent would be applied to the new purchase. When I called Blake and explained about the toilet still leaking he was very nice and said he would be back out with no charge to me. I asked about putting in two new toilets. He once again explained that the money spent on the last call would be applied to the cost of the two new toilets. We agreed that he would come back and install two new toilets for a total New charge of $500. He returned and installed the two new toilets in about 30 min. He always calls before he shows up and today he called and said he could be out about 2hrs early that we had scheduled. Always neat and clean and very pleasant to have in my home.
