It took longer than expected because of unforeseen problem.

George and his team made this process as easy as possible for me. He took the time to explain what was happening and what needed to be done to fix it unlike the previous companies I had met with. He was also a huge help with my insurance company.and managing the claim. His help coordinating with other trades, especially my renovation kept the timeline as concise as possible and got me back in my house as soon as possible. Timeliness, good communication, and result I can trust given my health issues means I will always recommend Advanta Clean.

Mr. McMillan showed up for the appointment on time and was personable. He looked at the area I wanted fixed as well as some other areas, and spoke to me for an hour about general mold treatment practices. None of it was specific to my situation and it left me feeling somewhat frustrated and overwhelmed, but I was promised a follow-up email that would explain everything I needed to know and think about to make a decision, with referrals to yet other professionals who I supposedly might need. I always appreciate not being pressured to authorize expensive work and agree to some financing package at an initial consultation, but the email never came, even after I followed up and reminded them that I exist and had asked for help. Contrast this with a termite guy who came out for free, looked at the same area, ruled out active termites, and asked only for a positive review. If there’s no problem or you think it’s not worth my money or your time, just tell me that. As it was, the whole thing was a waste of time and I still have questions (and a torn-up house), so now I’m looking elsewhere when I was hoping a call to an Angie’s List certified provider might allow me to make this a one-stop project.

AdvantaClean did an AWESOME job for us. Specifically, I appreciated: (1) their attention to detail, (2) their thoroughness, (3) they were always on time, (4) they assisted us greatly in dealing with our insurance agent and insurance adjuster, and (5) their excellent communication – we always knew what they were working on, what was next, and they answered our questions. In the past we have dealt with contractors we were not so happy with and so it was so refreshing to find a company who is as conscientious as AdvantaClean of South Austin. They may not be the cheapest but the quality of their work makes them a stand out service.

My problem was a leaking refrigerator. I found it on a Sunday and called AdvantaClean they were onsite within an hour. They determined the extent of the water damage and set up a confinement area and begin drying the water logged wall. Technicians came every day to check on the dryers and the moisture levels. I did not have one so they recommend a contractor. After comparing their recommendation with three others I chose the recommended contractor as the best. Insurance was a real challenge but AdvantaClean mentored me. Holding my hand and helping to manage documentation (a real chore!) we ended up with no out of pocket expense (actually a little extra). AdvantaClean is a trade company I would recommend if you need an honest, reliable and hands-on remediation or mitigation company.

We had an issue with our A/C a couple years ago, that was improperly fixed by another contractor. This issue with the wet weather the past 2 years eventually led to mold. When I called AdvantaClean, the response was quick. George was able to walk us through everything, thoroughly looked for and assessed the cost, and followed-up appropriately through the holidays, They ended up finding more issues in other areas but there was also good news along the way. It took a total of 3 days to cut through the ceiling and remove the shower, as well as keep an enclosed space for the A/C crew. They were constantly on time, and respectful of our space. I hope to never have to hire them again (under such circumstances), but if I do have mold or know of someone else that has mold, they are my first call, my only recommendation.

He was professional, thorough, and took the time to explain all the potential issues and ways to address them. We felt comfortable and confident in his inspection and recommendations. He did not try to sell us on service we don't currently need, and that was very appreciated. We would recommend him to friends and others who need similar service, and would not hesitate to call him again if the need arose.

Best contractor I've ever worked with! I hired him in July or so and, due to insurance claim hoops, didn't start the work until December. In the meantime (and before receiving any type of payment), he guided me through all the homeowner horror stories you hear about- issues missed during inspection, reporting it on the inspector's insurance, what information to tell/ not tell them, how to negotiate, absolutely everything you could think of. He was ALWAYS available whenever I needed him via phone or email and I trust him implicitly. That's incredibly hard to find nowadays.

Excellent! A+++! I really liked George the owner. He came out on time. He was very professional and I liked what he had to say.

I found water in my crawl space under the stairs. All the Xmas decorations and sheet rock were moldy and full of bugs. Insurance adjuster and I could find no apparent leak. The mold was killing my allergies. I contacted Advantaclean Environmental of south Austin b/c I had to get rid of mold. I called Wed 12-15-11 set an appointment for the following Monday. But George read the email I sent to magic one service and called me the next day. He came up himself to inspect the damage. He put together an itemized plan of what needed to be repaired with cost. He told me I could use other sheet rock and plumbing/HVAC people if I had established relationships. I opted to use people he worked with in the past the best decision I made. Brian from advanta clean came Friday and cut out the moldy sheet rock and he found the leak source was the hot water heater drain, hot water bib was leaking for washing machine and insulation failure around AC drain pipe. Doy Jackson Fletcher mechanical checked repaired the hot water heater replaced all the rotted wood, replace washing machine bibs. Bill Maloney came on Saturday replaced floated and textured the sheet rock in ONE day. Bottom line great quality and fast service. I would recommend them to all my friends!
