Eco Irrigation & Landscaping

From the salesperson to the completion of installation we were very happy with Eco irrigation. They completed everything on time and within the time frame promised. After the install was complete we realized that two sprinklers had been placed where our garbage cans sit because the plan was made on our garbage day so the cans were on the street. When we contacted them they came out the next day and removed those two heads without hesitation, even though they had provided us with the plan in advance and it was our oversight. My husband was not home on the final day of install and so we asked if someone could come by and give him a demonstration on how to operate the sprinklers and they promptly sent someone. We had a rain gauge that did not seem to be measuring rainfall accurately so again when we contacted them they sent someone to replace the rain gauge which they did without question. They provided the above mentioned services for us without additional charges above the originally agreed on price. We have had the sprinklers for about 3 months and we love them! Eco Irrigation provided excellent customer service and a high quality product; we highly recommend them!

Technician arrived promptly on time and did an awesome job! Very little yard damage from his digging up the broken pipe. Would definitely use Eco again:-)

The experience was fine, I guess. They did not know that I had purchased an Angie's List Big Deal so the guy tried to charge me $65 labor. So there was lot of confusion. But in the end, we ended up getting what needed to be got done. So I guess it all worked out fine. There were additional charges beyond the Big Deal amount because he wanted to do some extra stuff and I agreed to pay extra.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. It was okay. They came out within a couple of weeks after purchasing the deal. There were no problems but I was expecting the guy to consult with me more about my sprinkler system. He came out and just basically say, "Your sprinkler system was okay, I adjusted a couple of heads. See you." Technically speaking, they performed the function that I paid them for but there's nothing that they went above and beyond the call of duty.

It went great, he was very professional and knew the system Very well. He not only ck system but re- programmed it for me at no extra cost.

The initial scheduling and service was horrendous. After waiting 3 hours for the technician to arrive, I called to hear "we cancelled the appointment last night." No one called and there was no phone message. Rescheduled for 9-11 another day. At 12 I called and they said I wasn't home. The technician came at 8:00 when I was out of the house. Again there was no phone call either. He did return and checked my sprinkler system. He said one head was broken and left. I assumed that meant that he repaired it. When the system was turned on I had a geyser from one head. I called and complained. They did send someone out who repaired it. They were ready to charge me again but I said no way. Finally got it the way it should be. The last man did a good job - something which should have been done initially.

They were terrific and very professional.

I did not feel that the service provider was prepared for any repairs. There were two sprinkler heads that he was able to fix, but there were a few others that he said he would have to come back to fix because he didn’t have the proper supplies. He said he would come out this past Thursday – and he didn’t. I called them and never heard back. I do not have time to hound them about the service they said they would perform. It seemed that he was short on supplies and the office just doesn’t follow up.

I tried calling Eco Irrigation from the onset. They would not return phone calls. When I did finally talk with them they set up an appointment for someone to come out. The first appointment was scheduled somewhere around the the week of April 29th. They cancelled. Rescheduled for May 7th. I had to cancel because my father passed away. I rescheduled for May 14 at 3:00. No one showed up. I was told when I called that the guy got lost. Adam finally came out May 23 at 3:00 for my VIP inspection to see what needed to be done. On May 29th they came to replace a valve. I never received anything in writing from them. They called and said I needed to pay $100.00. I did send them a check. I'm assuming the work was done. The area that the valve was suppose to be fixed for was not getting enough water and Adam showed me how the sprinklers for not working properly for that area. The grass was turning brown and my flower bed was not getting enough water. He adjusted my sprinkler to come on at 4:00 a.m. for 30 minutes and then set it for 8:00 p.n. to come on for 5 minutes at each station on my watering day. The system came on at 4:00 a.m., but then came on at 10:15 or so for one zone for 36 minutes. He obviously didn't know what he was doing. My grass in this area that was supposedly fixed is now dying and the garden is as well. They didn't fix anything. I refuse to do business with them again. When Adam came out on the day of inspections of my irrigation system we had a conversation about doing some landscaping for me as well. I never heard back from him. I called 2 weeks later and said I never received a proposal. The next week i get a call that It would be $3800 to do what we talked about. Seeing how I never received a proposal I didn't know exactly what he was going to do. I called again and asked that a propsal be sent. Again I received a note that it was $3800.00. He refused to itemize it for me. I called and told them they were very unprofessional and unreliable and that I had never heard of not getting an itemized list of work to be done. I would not recommend these people EVER! They have wasted my time and didn't get what I paid for.

Fantastic. Showed up when expected, even called ahead of time. Assessed the entire system and replaced FIVE sprinklers and added another. Then adjusted to make sure they were watering the grass and not the street. Great service and well worth the cost.

I AM CERTAIN THAT THE SPRINKLERS WERE NOT TURNED ON IN THE BACK YARD AT ALL.

I received what they quoted. They came out to measure the property, provided me a drawing of the system, completed all the permits, installed the irrigation system and hauled off all the giant rocks that surfaced from the trenching. The system was installed and operational in one day. They used higher quality sprinkler heads, swivel connections and the Rain Bird Smart Irrigation Control System is awesome! I would highly recommend them to install a residential irrigation system.

Work was done in timely manner. They did a couple of the repairs under the cost of the tune up when I a was sure there would be an extra charge. When I need major irrigation work I will be giving them a call.

On the initial visit, the contractor visually inspected the sprinklers, did not do any cleaning of filters (had to do that myself as several of the heads needed their filters cleared), found several valves whose locations I did not know, indicated my water pressure over multiple zones was low, and indicated that replacing one or more of my sprinkler valves would correct the pressure problem. The contractor felt doing this was a precursor to continuing with cleaning the sprinkler heads. I agreed to replacing one valve as an experiment to see if it would make a difference, and a follow-up visit was scheduled. On the subsequent visit, a different person arrived to do the valve replacement. After replacing the valve, there was no difference in the water pressure. I requested the original valve be restored since there was no difference in the performance of the sprinklers, but the contractor left the new valve in place. The contractor checked the main water pressure coming into the sprinkler system and indicated the pressure was low. Accepting this, I requested that the remainder of the work of checking the sprinkler heads and cleaning out any filters that needed it be performed. Instead, the contractor attempted to convince me to rework my sprinkler system. Failing to convince me, the contractor indicated a follow-up visit would be made to do the remainder of the sprinkler system tune-up, and that I would be contacted to schedule it. As far as I know, they have not attempted to contact me. I have since done the filter cleaning myself. I feel the price I paid (having gotten a good deal through Angie's list) was probably fair given the work performed (e.g., it would have cost more just to have someone come find the valve locations that I did not know). However, it did not really save me any time or convenience, and I would not work with this contractor again (unless I wanted to rework my entire sprinkler system).

Will unquestionably use Eco Irrigation again in the future. Everything was done efficiently, effectively and reasonably priced.

They did not call me back. Then I called them again. There was kind of a mix up. They did not respond right away and then they wound up calling me. They said they were moving and computer crashed. They did come out, the guy was very nice and some things he could not do because he did not have the right parts. He came out another day with the right parts. He spent a lot of time to make sure all sprinkler were heads working. He was suppose to get back to us because the ones by the street were not compliant anymore and he would give us a plan but we have not heard back since. He did a good job, took a long time and did not rush it. We certainly got what we paid for.

The guy was super nice and professional. I had the impression that they were going to do a tune up where they run the sprinklers and do a water inspection and they just programmed the sprinkler system, which I could have done. Not sure if I misread the text or not. I had to take two different conference calls while he was there and he was very accommodating.

Not great - they guy who came out spent about 10-15 minutes doing the "big sprinkler tune up." From what I could tell, all he did was run each station and see whether they were working or not...something I could have done for myself. Then, he told me that 2 of my zones have pressure issues, but that he didn't have the tools to fix it then. He said someone from the office would call back in a couple days to get the follow up scheduled. No one ever called me so I followed up myself and got the appointment scheduled. When he finally came back out to the house I wasn't home, he fixed only one of the two zones that were messed up and then charged us another $80. I was annoyed at the high price and the fact that he didn't fix the whole problem. I called back and complained to the office and they said they'd send someone back out to house and have it fixed for free. I took off of work to be home in person this time, but the service attendant never showed up. Then I called, complained and rescheduled AGAIN. This next appointment time, I wasn't able to be home, but the guy (a) didn't fix the problem and (b) tried to charge my wife $65 for the service. What a ripoff! Last week, I called again and they said they'd have someone else sent to my place again this coming week...We'll have to see whether they will show up and fix the issue for free like they promised!

Pretty well, identified problems most of which were fixed promptly

The visit was really helpful and informative. Later we got a crazy water bill and the utility company kept asking if we had a sprinkler leak. I was like, I doubt it, we just had it checked out. I called to double check if they had any idea what the problem could be. They offered to send someone back out to double check for leaks (and, I don't know, whatever else sprinklers can do wrong?). Turns out the sprinkler system was fine and I'm still not sure what happened to our water bill, but it was just amazing customer service that they were willing to help out and follow up with us like that.

Originally had the appointment scheduled for Wed. March 20, 10AM - 12PM, but the Eco Irrigation office called to reschedule for 3PM - 5PM. At approximately 4 PM we called back to find out when they would be showing up and found out it would be closer to 5PM, which would be too late for us. We had to reschedule for Monday March 25. The technician showed up on March 25th, but did not know how to work our controller. Granted the system was originally installed back in the late 80's, so we couldn't hold it against him. We recently purchased this house and had zero experience with sprinkler systems. It took a little while for us to figure out how to use the system, then we showed the tech. Afterward he went around and inspected the system, adjusted some sprinkler heads and said the system looked good. Two uses and two weeks later one of the zones would not shut off so we had to completely shut off our system, hopefully this is just a coincidence. We will be asking Eco Irrigation for an estimate on repairing our aged system.

All sprinkler heads were checked and cleaned, and the system is working properly.
