They do great work. They get here when they say they will be. They get very busy and basically, if your air conditioning is not off during the summer or your heat in the middle of winter, it may take them a little while to get here if you just got something else that is wrong. If you are in dire need of air conditioning and it is 100 degrees, they are very prompt. That is my problem.

Replaced system

The process went very well for my clients. My clients had just decided to put their house on the market and the day before it was to go active in the Multiple Listing Service my client called me upset that her house was very hot. I contacted Eddie, owner of Capital Air, and asked if there was any way he could get over to them that day. He, as he has always been, was very responsive and made it to their house that day. He took care of the situation and the day ended well with a nice cool house. I have worked with Eddie for about a year now and have called on him many times for clients. He is our preferred HVAC company that my business partner and I send clients, as well as our personal business, to. Eddie is a devoted Christian and has always been fair and honest with our clients, and with us. We will continue to use him for many years to come. He comes HIGHLY recommended!

At first a lower level tech came out and just recharged the system. It turned out it was the evaporator coil. The owner came back, did a diagnosis, credited me in full for the freon and replaced the coil.

The technician added 3 lbs of R-22 (system had stopped cooling) and also added a dye pack to check for leaks. At $150, I thought the dye pack was excessively priced, plus they did not really attempt to check later for leaks/results. I think they have a fair price on regular service calls and refrigerant, but I don't think it's worth ordering any extra work.

We called these folks on the weekend and they came right out first thing Monday morning. They explained the problem and what they needed to do to check the pressure and restart the unit. They were very professional people who did a great job.

ALTHOUGH THE JOB TOOK LONG, THEY WERE DILIGENT TO COMPLETE THE JOB. THE WORKERS WERE FRIENDLY AND ANSWERED ALL OUR QUESTIONS WELL. THEY DIDN'T EVEN TAKE BREAKS. GOOD FOLLOW UP NEXT DAY.
