awesome austin awnings

After speaking and receiving bids from two others companies Austin "Awesome" Awning was to be my third. I made contact with them initially by internet and then a call back to me was made. Made one appointment only to be called back to push it back stating he wanted "work up" something to best fit my need. Sounded fair enough and at that point and we already made contact by phone twice. When my newly scheduled appointment time rolled around "Walter" was no where to be found so I called. When we spoke he said, "didn't you get my email?" Then as I "the customer," started to explain that I did not receive anything from him, he began to explain how he thought I was already sold on another brand of awning from the previous bids I had mentioned. This kind of assumption is really a bad way to run a business. Also, never presume you know the needs or wants of a customer without first meeting them and providing a bid. Lastly, don't assume your bid will be too high for a similar product.
