Jimmy was punctual and did a great job of going over the fence needs, explaining the work to be done etc... As well he did the estimate right there and had it to me within 15 minutes of looking over the job. Only reason I did not choose was price/cost per foot was ~ $1.15 more a sq foot than the company I chose (for the exact same materials). He did a follow up call but no negotiation on price.

Prompt to come give bid. Followed up on estimate and start date. Work was completed in 2 days. Very happy with quality. Workers were so nice, even worked extra late the second day to make it easier on me. Cleaned up afterwards. Definitely would use again.

The crew showed up without a supervisor and seemed very confused as to what part of the fence was to be replaced. They did an excellent job of constructing the fence, however they had been sent out without the temporary fencing to block the swimming pool and did not have the hardware that had been decided on....the hardware that they installed was put on the outside of the fence, even though it had been decided to put it on the inside. I will not use this company again because their office is very sloppy with both their paperwork and communications with their customer and crew.

the job went very smooth..jimmy came out and gave me an estimate...i called him two or three other times for changes and more info..he got back to me in a timely manner when he couldn't answer right away..the job was started two days after my estimate..the workers came out the first day about 10:am and worked until all the post were set in concrete...which was 6 or 7 that nite...the next day they came out the same time and worked until the job was finshed, about 8:30 that eveing..they worked constantly all day and only took time off for lunch...very nice workers with a great attitude...they had to come back a couple of days later to tweak one of my gates,which now works great...they also use 3/4 cedar pickets instead of 1/2 in like some componies do..i had metal frame gates and a third stringer, which made a differance in price....

We never heard back from Apple Fence Company.

The workers performed the job very well. The fence is pretty. While they were working, the neighbor's dog ran out of their back yard through the fence between us. One of the workers went pretty far away to catch the dog, although it was not his responsibility. They also cleaned the back yard and front yard well.

Good experience. Would use again.

Jimmy was very nice and professional setting up the quote. The company was consistently hours later than they said they would be there. The workers worked very hard; although I did not appreciate them smoking right next to my office. The neighbor's sprinkler system was damaged but Brent (the owner) made sure it was repaired a week later. I have noticed a few planks are missing nails and coming off the fence already; not happy about that. This was our 1st time using a fencing company and will do more research next time.

Came out the day after July 4 and repaired our gate. Due to problem I had previously, they did the job at no charge. So, I was very appreciative of this gesture.

Excellent in all areas from the first visit to the cleanup. The workers took great care with the sprinkler systems on both sides of the fence and cleaned up everything. The fence looks beautiful! We are calling Apple Fence to do the remaining sections.

Apple Fence is high quality and I will say that you get what you pay for with them... I had received bids from 4 other companies. Was ready to go with another when a neighbor recommended Apple after their good experience. After checking out the quality of the materials and work I gave them a call for a bid. They showed up the next day and followed up with me in a couple of days by phone. I told them I was waiting to get agreement from my neighbor. That happened and I called and got on their schedule within a week. They were able to complete my job all in one day and it looks beautiful. A day later I realized that due to the change in the posts used it caused the fence to sit differently in one of the corners and was covering one of my sprinkler heads. I called and they were out a couple of days later and opted to dig up my head and reset it for me instead of trying to notch my fence. All is perfect now.

The estimator showed up on Saturday after I called that morning and had a quote to me on Monday. The crew showed up on time and completed the job in a total of two days. They explained options for installation and the gate, did very good work, and cleaned up nicely. The materials are top-notch and the fence looks great.

The experience from first phone call to completion was great. I called them on Monday afternoon and they came out about 2 hours later. After measuring the fence Brad proceeded to show me the type of wood they would use. He explained how they choose 3/4 thick pickets over the standard 5/8 due to the heat and moisture down here and how that prevents warping and just lasts longer. Also he pointed out that they choose wood that does not have large knots as those will just pop out later on. We talked about the difference between using wood posts versus steel and due to the landscaping between our houses and it being sort of a natural drainage path I was leaning towards the steel posts. He said that the wood would probably last a long time since it is treated and all .. but it is wood! We opted for steel posts. I called them back on Tuesday around noon and said I wanted to go ahead with the fence and they told me they could have a crew out there on Wednesday and it would only take the day to do since it was not that much work. The fence crew showed up about noon on Wednesday and started working at the fence. They actually removed the old fence posts and cement in the ground which is something the company I used last year said they would do and then never did do. This impressed me since it is not a small task to remove the old fence posts and cement. They kept the yard very clean while working, things were not strewn all over the place, and they finished up around 7:30PM in the evening. They cleaned up the yard and my driveway so that there was very little if anything left behind, mainly dust on my driveway which is easy to wash away. Looking over the fence it was amazing how well it looked and you could not really tell it was using steel posts as they were well hidden and only when looking close could you see. The gates were built strong and open and closed perfectly with ease yet felt solid. Also one of the things that I was very disappointed with last year when I had the other side of my fence done from another company was that they didn't clean up the mounds of dirt around the post holes very well and left rocks lying around in my grass. The guys at Apple Fence took care of all of this and there was no extra dirt lying around, no rocks in the yard. They cleaned all that up and ensured it was like it was before they started. As you can tell from this I am very impressed with these guys as it is hard to find people that focus on the quality and the service they give rather than just rushing through as many jobs as they can as quickly as they can. They are top notch and if you want a fence that is going to last these guys will do a great job and be in line with the costs of other companies. I found out from last year you only get what you pay for! The cost difference between what I had done last year and this year was not that much but quality difference is huge. Great job guys and will recommend you to all my neighbors and friends.

These guys are awesome! Brent the owner came and met with us and discussed our needs and gave us options. They use all galvanized steel nails so that we won't have rust spots. They built a beautiful fence for us. 8 ft in the back for privacy with durable steel poles and a cap. They took care of the time warner cable that was running along the bottom stringer and cleaned up after themselves very well. They took the time to stain both sides of the fence twice with quality stain. Their price was a little higher than others but was totally reflected in the materials that they used and the craftsmanship they demonstrated. He gave us a quote quickly and showed up when he said he would. Can't get much better than that! Thanks Brent

Brent Mullens is the owner of Apple Fence, and he does a fantastic job at a very competitive price. This was actually two jobs split among three families, replacing three sides of fence (back, side, front) in our yard. Brent is very professional, honest and up-front about everything. We found Apple's price with metal posts to be the same or less than competitors prices with wooden posts. The crews completed the back side in one day and the side and front fences in two days. They did an excellent job of installation and cleaned up nicely afterward. We enjoyed working with them so much we asked them to come back and replace the railings on our front porch. Several of our neighbors have also asked them to bid jobs. This is a new company that will be doing a lot of business in Austin before long!
