Priceless Painting

I emailed him late one night and he called the next day and made appointment for that evening. He was prompt and gave me an estimate on the spot. I agreed to the estimate and the crew power washed the house the next morning. The following day was Sunday and they were to start work on Monday. It rained on Monday so they came early on Tuesday and finished before noon.

I was very happy with the work. He was prompt and professional. I was also very satisfied with the prices.

Priceless was able to schedule us less than a week after I first called. The owner and an assistant showed up on time and were very agreeable to performing additional touch up as my wife directed them. They performed the work at the estimated cost plus a modest amount for the additional work we requested. They were fast, unobtrusive (no loud music playing) and very professional.

Luis was very prompt at returning my calls. He came one evening to give me an estimate which I thought was reasonable. We set a time for him to start and he and his worker were on time every day and always told me before they left when they would be back. They had a slight problem due to some of the paint they were painting over was water base and some was oil base. After primeing and painting everything, some of the cabinets were sticky and when the doors and drawers were closed and opened again some of the paint was pulling off. I called Luis and he came back promptly and repainted the affected cabinets. Again after a few days I closed the doors and the same problem arose. When I called Luis this time he set up a time for the paint company representative to come out and look to determine what the problem was. Luis then came out on Memorial Day weekend to completely sand off the old paint and reprime and repaint without any hesitation. The problem is solved and everything looks great! It is very refreshing to have a contractor stand by his work and make everything right, instead of the usual excuses and run around that you get from others these days. This is the second time I have used Priceless Painting. Luis came by the house on time and gave me a bid that I thought was very reasonable. His work is exceptional. Although I did not solicit other bids, if a bid had been submitted that was lower than Luis' bid, I would have used Luis. He started and finished the work on time. His helper was also professional and polite and they did an excellent job. Everything was clean when he left. Luis is very professional and polite and I intend to use him on my next job. I found Luis through Angie's List. I am a hard grader and I highly recommend him. You will be very pleased with his work.

He did a great job. My only concern is that before they left my husband asked them to pain the door trim. This "extra" was not done with the care and to the standard of the rest of the job. It was minor point however, as we have asked them to come back and paint our master bedroom, hallway and stairwell.

Luis and his helper did a fantastic job. The walls were in bad shape following foundation shifting and subsequent foundation repair. Luis's sheetrock repair and painting job makes the house look better than new. How he did such a good job on the baseboards without getting one drip on the carpeting is amazing! They were prompt and diligent and provided excellent value for the money.

Luis did a great job and I can see why he takes pride in his work. The cabinets look like new. All the paint is where it belongs - no slopping over onto the walls, counters or floors. They worked very quietly and efficiently, finishing sooner than promised. They cleaned up so well it was like they had never been there.

Showed up at the date and time I requested and completed the job as described. He does an excellent job and I would use him again. Very responsible and reliable.

I believe that he did very good quality work and was almost completely satisfied.

Luis did a great job. I called him on a Friday and he came out the same evening to see what we needed done. He emailed me a quote on Saturday and did all of the painting (that he had estimated would take 2-2.5 days) in just one day the following week. He arrived exactly on time, worked hard and was very conscientious and careful. We will definitely use him again if the need arises, as well as recommend him to our friends and family!

They did a great job. Arrived on time, moved and covered all furniture and floors. Then removed wallpaper and glue, The next day they textured and painted walls. The also removed a built into the wall ironing board and covered the hole with sheetrock. After they finished painting they moved all the furniture to where "she who most be obeyed" wanted it. They cleaned up everything. We are very happy with the job and their professionalism.

Luis came to my house the same day I called for an estimate. We agreed on the work to be done and the price. The work started the next day with pressure washing the house, replacement of dry rotted wood, and caulking, about a 10 hour day for two people. The next day, Luis and his helper arrived and painted the entire exterior of my house and detached garage. Both Luis and his helper were very professional and courteous and worked very hard. After the job was finished, they cleaned up everything.

Luis was prompt and professional in every aspect of the job. He was neat and exacting.

I had received 3 other estimates before I called Luis on a Saturday. He was available for an estimate that day, although I couldn?t see him until the following Monday. He arrived at the appointed time on Monday and we discussed the job. I received his estimate that evening as promised; his price was comparable to the lowest of my 3 previous bids (also, unlike anybody else, his estimate was priced by room. I don't know if he does this for everyone - I had given him a spreadsheet with all the rooms and paint colors when we initially discussed the job.) I was in a jam to get the job done as soon as possible; he was able to start 2 days later on Wednesday and finished the job as promised on Saturday ? very responsive and FAST. Luis and his crew (one other person for this job) arrived promptly every day around 8:15 a.m. and worked diligently all day - he even stayed until 7 one day. We did have a miscommunication that resulted in the need for some rooms to be repainted and for additional paint to be purchased. I felt badly about it ? but Luis never said a negative word. In addition, all of my walls required 2 coats of paint (and a couple of dark walls required 3.) I know Luis did not budget for 2 coats of paint on all the walls, but he never complained, nor did he revise his estimate or hand me an invoice for additional work. His attitude was ?let?s just do it.? I appreciated his integrity and that he kept his word in spite of the negative affect on his bottom line. Luis also put up with my perfectionist pickiness! I would probably hate to have me as a client but Luis did everything I asked. I was impressed with his professional demeanor, integrity, work ethic, and professional pride in his work.

After contacting him, he gave me a quote and said he could start the work in about a week. He did very good work and finished the job in 2 days. The drywall patch work looked very good cosmetically. I paid him half up front, and half when the job was completed.

Luiz quote was very reasonable. He arrived exactly when he said he would and finished the job in a shorter time frame than estimated. He and his helper were professional and friendly. Even put the all the furniture back exactly where it belonged. Overall, an excellent job and a overall very good experience. We had not heard of this company, but used him based on what we read in Angie's List and were not disappointed. I plan to use him again soon and will recommend him to others..

Great! My house looks extra cute with the new colors and they were finished in about a day and a half and there were only two of them!! They didn't leave a drop of paint or mess after they were finished. I will definitely hire them again if I decide to change the colors or paint the exterior of my home!

Luis came by on a Friday to look at the job, gave me an estimate and scheduled the work for the following Monday. Because every room was painted, things had to be moved. Luis and his helper moved and covered everything and was very careful not to get paint on anything except what needed to be painted. Luis arrived on time, was professional and courteous, and did the work in a very timely fashion. I would highly recommend Luis to anyone.

Luis was on time to give me an estimate for the job. He looked at the paint chips I provided and took a tour of the rooms so I could explain what I wanted done. He e-mailed me an estimate the same evening. The price was reasonable and other Angie's list members had good reviews of him so we hired him for the job. Luis could have started right away but we asked him to wait until this past Thursday to begin working. He came at 8:30AM with two helpers and stayed until 5PM. By the end of the first day all the wallpaper was down and the walls were smooth and ready for texturing and one bedroom was painted with a first coat. On Friday he came back with two helpers and they finished the bedroom they started, completed painting the second bedroom, textured both bathrooms and painted with a base coat. They also painted the hallway and the primer coat in the game room. I asked that they paint the downstairs bathroom on Friday because we had family coming to visit Saturday night and wanted to be able to use the bathroom. Luis and his helpers had arrived on Friday at 8:30 but didn't leave until 7:30. When Luis saw that it was getting late, he called a friend who is a carpenter to come install the chair rail in the game room. We have chair rail in other parts of the house but none is so expertly installed. You can see the attention to detail where the pieces of chair rail meet or pass under windows. Amazing. When we saw that it was past 6pm when the carpenter arrived, my husband and I decided to provide dinner for him and the crew. They deserved it. After dinner they cleaned up their tools and headed home. Today, Sunday, Luis came back at 9am with one helper we had met the other two days. They sponge painted both bathrooms and put the final paint coats on in the game room. We had selected a lighter color for above the chair rail and a darker color for below. It took four coats of paint to properly coat the bottom section of the wall with the dark green color. Luis left his helper to continue painting while he went to pick up an extra gallon of paint halfway through the day. Every day Luis and his crew were professional and as clean as possible. There was a layer of dust downstairs after the wallpaper stripping but I understand that and he did do his best to clean it up. I appreciate that Luis used steam to strip the paper and not a chemically based method. My husband and I have allergies and are also trying to be eco-friendly by using fewer chemicals that produce fumes. The paint used, with the exception of the hallway paint was all Low-VOC paint. Overall it was a great experience and we would certainly hire Luis again. I highly recommend him.

Luis and his crew powerwashed and re-stained our back deck and pergola. The pergola has many slats, but they took the time and care to stain it neatly.

Mr. Paez responded promptly to my request for an estimate and he was very polite. We discussed in detail what needed to be done. I asked him what paint they used and since my house had previously been painted with Behr, he used the paint I chose. The Behr paint was a little higher than Glidden, but there was no price increase. He also left the remaining paint with me. They were on time, very neat, and finished the job on time. I was very impressed with his work. In fact, my next door neighbor checked his work and hired him to paint her house and also. I would definitly use his services again.

Great, arrived on time, when he said he was coming, was there everyday, cleaned up, used drop clothes, polite and courteous.

Luis came and gave us an estimate, scheduled the work within 3 days and arrived on time. He and a helper did the work flawlessly, cleaned up after themselves and were respectful of our things.

As the result of Hurricane Ike, we have had multiple contractors / tradesmen in our home to help us recover. Without a doubt, Luis and his helper were the most professional and did the best overall job. We can highly recommend them.
