Priceless Painting

Priceless Painting was excellent to work with. I emailed the company on Angie's list on a Sunday to request a quote, got a response the next day and got the work scheduled and completed by Wednesday. The work quality was outstanding, and they even left the leftover paint can with the formula to match my house color. Mr.Paez returned the same evening at my convenience for payment. Overall one of the best experiences I have had hiring someone to work on my house! I had some additional painting work scheduled for today and again it was completed well and promptly. And at a very good price!

The work they do is great. Luis is very professional and courteous. Mike Holmes would use him.

The work went very well. We were pleased.

Took two days with two people (owner and 1 helper), then first moved furniture and covered it and floors and went straight to work. Had us pick out paint colors at Sherman Williams and used what we chose. He asked for an advance of $800 the first day and I paid the balance at the completion of work. Excellent quality of work, good clean up, very professional and prompt. I would use him again.

They were very prompt and did a great job sanding and prepping the areas. They were so neat that I didn't have to clean anything. I was very impressed with their professionalism and quality of work.

The work turned out good. There are a couple things that they have to clean up but they are planning to do so. They did a real good job and I would recommend them. I was very pleased. They were reasonable, supportive, and professional.

The work was fine. There were some confusion on the job and the quote; some things weren’t done that I had expected, but overall the work was fine.

My wife and I were having a terrible time trying to find someone to paint our townhome interior. We had tried several contractors recommended to use by people or who had done work for us before. But often, we would not get call backs to our requests for a visit to do an estimate, or if they came and looked at the house we never recieved an estimate. This all changed when we contacted Luis Paez of Priceless Painting for an estimate. When I called asking about an estimate, Luis gave me a time that he could come to the house to look at the work. He showed up promptly at the time he said he would and went through the house asking what we wanted done. He promised an estimate by the weekend and sure enough that weekend it showed up in our email . We even added a request to install baseboards in the house. He told us he could install the baseboards and gave us the additional cost. All very reasonable. The day I sent the email to accept his bid for the work he called me and told me he could begin the job in about a week and a half which was much quicker than we expected. Luis and his crew showed up promptly on the agreed date and time and began work on the house. From the moment they started I knew we had made the right choice by hiring Luis to do the work. They first installed all the baseboards. They did a top rate job and the baseboards looked awesome even before they were caulked and painted. Luis and the people working for him are very professional and very conscientous about their work. They covered all the furniture or clothes with plastic and made sure nothing could get on it for us and helped us move things to the center of the room if necessary. They fixed any problems in the drywall throughout the house, Luis even fixed a section that had to be replaced in order for the painting to look nice for us. Our townhome has textured walls but there were several past repairs that had no texture on them. Luis' team went through and made sure all these spots and a few more we had not found were correctly textured. They also were very detailed in their preparation work, making sure that everything was sanded and reading for painting. Throughout this all, Luis was always willing to answer my questions, explain what needed to be done, and provide suggestions. Once the preparation work was finished the painting went quickly. All the ceilings and walls were painted in a day and a half and look great! In the next two days they painted the doors and baseboards with the oil paint. They meticulously sanded all the doors down since the owners before us had used water based paint over oil which caused flaking and required them to be carefully prepped before repainting. They were very careful and detailed when painting the trim, baseboards, and doors! Once they were finished painting, they did extensive cleanup work around the work areas insuring that any paint that may have gotten onto our floors was cleaned up. They also made sure all their work materials were all picked up before vacuuming the areas one last time. In the end, our house looks brand new thanks to Luis and his Priceless Painting crew. We would definitely use them again and recommend them for anyone.

He and his crew of three, started on time each day and finished, as quoted, in three days. Left all areas clean and undisturbed. Very professional. Will ask him to quote again, when it's time to paint the inside of the house.

Luis and his team showed up on time, worked 8 hours a day and got everything done a day ahead of schedule. Originally he said 4 days, and they got it done in 3. His price was fair and the work they did from start to finish was fantastic. They did a great job of keeping the dust and fumes to a minimum, and were very careful with moving furniture and covering things to avoid dust and paint getting all over. After working everyday, they swept the floors and kept tools and equipment out of the way so my family and I could still live in the house while the work was being done. Luis is very professional and went over everything with a fine tooth comb. Excellent work.

Overall, they did a really good job (A-). They showed up on time every day and worked more than 8 hrs a day. They finished the job in 4 days (working a Saturday, but not Sunday). My walls and ceiling have a slight popcorn finish to it and they did a pretty good job of matching it. They cleaned up after themselves each day and made every effort not to cause us too much inconvenience. The best part of the job was actually the finished carpentry work done in the washroom. The carpenter did an outstanding job and exceeded our expectations - the added chair rail above the paneling was a very nice touch. We loved the work, even before it was painted - which of course made it look even better. I like the fact that Luis insisted on Sherwin Williams paint for the job and he was always willing to do any last minute changes that we asked for. The only things that I would change are somewhat minor, but I must express: 1) the great painting that was done would have come out even better if they had been a little more thorough in going behind their work looking for any slight incomplete areas or areas in need of a final touch up (we've noticed some areas, but its just not worth having some one come back out and fix all the way from League City); 2) I would also suggest that when this company submits original estimates to clients in the future, that such estimates show the Angie's list discount amount. When it came time to pay the bill, I thought that the estimated amount would be further reduced by the 10% shown in the Angie's List Magazine for this company, but it was not. Other Angie's List company's that I used earlier in the year, provided estimates like this and then gave the additional discount at time of payment. I was disappointed to learn that the estimate quoted was already at the Angie's list discounted price - this was not reflected anywhere on the actual copy of the estimate.

We are very pleased with the work performed by Luis Paez and his assistant. At first we wondered about his pricing of the project, thinking either he underbid the job or the craftsmanship would be lacking. However, he did a great job. We made some changes to the original contract and he was able to adjust and complete the project. The work performed was that of a true professional. We had to have our ceiling repaired from old floating tape in the corners. He was able to match the texture of the ceiling to perfection. And the texture he added to several walls looked like the kind you would see in newer homes. We will be calling him back in the fall to do one or two more bedrooms. I highly recommend Priceless Painting to anyone looking to hire a real professional.

Luis and his colleague did a great job. Not only did they do the exterior painting but they replaced any wood as needed and resealed around windows and door etc. Also Luis returned when I noticed a small area that was starting to peel and he refinished that as well. They showed up on time, worked very diligently and into the evening, cleaned up each day so the outside was never a mess and were very friendly to work with. Excellent job overall

My wife and I wanted to convert our upstairs game room into a spare bedroom. I contacted Luis and scheduled an appointment with him to review and estimate the job, he showed up on time and was very professional. He then provided me a detailed quote by email for us to review against other estimates. Luis was awarded the job and we set a start date. He and his workers showed up on time everyday and worked non stop. They took time to prep the room to protect the surrounding furnishings and cleaned up at the end of every day. The work was completed on time and per the estimate. My wife and I are very happy with the work performed by Priceless Painting and how professional they were throughout the entire process.

They were great, did high quality work and were done in 2.5 days. The only problem was Luis asked for an extra $100 at the end even though there wasn't any change in scope from the original site visit and estimate. I didn't go for it, but his price was very competitive to start with.

Showed up on 5/10/11, prep house, replace wood, pressue wash driveway. Caulk, paint everything. Did a great job.

It turned out pretty well. We liked the work that they did. They worked really hard. They stayed from early until late. They paid attention to detail. I think that's about as good as it gets. They were punctual.

Luis Paez and his crew arrived early and immedialey got right to the job. The crew was hard working, stopping only for a 30 minute lunch break. Afterwards they got right back to the job and finished mid afternoon. Before the crew started work they put down drop cloths on floors, counters, and over appliances. After the job was done they quickly cleaned up and were on their way. Luis and his crew are skilled in their trade and made a tough job look easy.

Luis and his helper arrived exactly on time each day of the two day job. They worked practically nonstop all day and we were VERY happy with the results. The addition of the chair rail added to the original estimate but we were prepared for that. All in all, we were so pleased with the results, we are planning to have Luis paint our home's exterior in the spring.

Luis and his assistant were professional and courteous and they left the work area clean every day. They worked very hard for several days preparing the house and garage for painting. Their focus on preparation was great. They replaced rotted wood and caulked all windows and doors. The actual painting only took one day, and they were very responsive to requests. I will be looking to hire Luis again for interior paininting in a few months.

We scheduled an estimate first. He called when he was on his way. Very professional with estimate. We scheduled the job. Again he arrived on time with a helper. Both were very professional and knowledgeable. Wrapped everything in plastic to cut down on dust. Cleaned up afterwards. More than pleased with the final product as texture matched perfectly and patch is not visible. Would highly recommend Luis.

Luis began the job and thought he had completed it, however when I inspected the texture of where he fixed the drywall, the texture did not match very well. After looking at it more closely, Luis agreed. He understood that we were not satisfied. He returned the next day and essentially did the whole job all over again. The second results were fantastic. Luis cares about his work and his reputation and he will make sure you are satisfied. I would use him again.

I hired Luis to paint the interior of my house. He also removed all of the wallpaper in the kitchen and bathrooms. In addition to painting, I had him remove the indirect lighting from the kitchen ceiling. He did a great job matching the existing texture on the ceiling. Overall, I would give Luis and his crew an A for a job well done.

I contacted Luis and he responded very quickly. He came out and looked at the work and sent me a spreadsheet with the estimate the next day. The work was delayed and I ended up needing additional work. I was able to take pictures and took measurements and sent these to Luis via email. He came back quickly with a revised estimate. When it was time to do the work, he arrived promptly. He was here with his workers the entire time. They did a great job and even offered to help move some boards I needed to get rid of out to my curb. I had an injured back and I really appreciated this. There is nothing negative that you could say about him. I plan to do a kitchen remodel and he will be doing this work too. I highly recommend him.

Mr. Luis Paez and his assistant draped our wood floors and sealed off the utility room where the work was being performed. They removed the old drywall, baseboards and rotted wood. Replaced wood where necessary and all drywall/baseboards. He purchased paint to match (we had a sample) to repaint utility room. The end result is seamless and perfect! This company and the owner are very punctual, professional, the prep work and clean up was very organized and tidy. I would hire Mr. Paez again and would recommend him for work.
