Priceless Painting

They get after it! The re-plumb left about 30-40 one foot square holes in my ceiling. The quality of his patch job was superb.

The owner came immediately for a quote. He gave me the best quote. He gave me a start date and was prompt. The guys he brought to work were kind and clean

It went extremely well! I had received a quote about a month before the work was performed but our closing date kept getting pushed back. I called the provider at 6:00am the morning after we closed and he and his crew showed up by 9:30am ready to work. The work was completed in 3 days and they did an exceptional job. I have never seen such professional painters. The job site was mess free and the workers worked around our furniture deliveries, etc. The showed up on time every morning and worked until around 7pm. I cannot express the thanks and appreciation we have for Luis and his crew. They made our new house a home and they did it considering our wants. The crew did not have an issue accommodating any changes we initiated. I cannot say enough about the excellent customer service and quality of work of this company! This company is highly recommended.

Contacted the owner (Luis) via e-mail and had a response within 24 hours, a quote in my email inbox within 48 hours. Work started within the week. The original quote was for $2,000 - but was for one coat only. Luis agreed to do the second quote for $500 in labor plus the cost of extra paint. Very reasonable considering some ceiling heights were around 20 feet. We prepped the area by disconnecting electronic cables and moving a couple of TVs out of the way. Other than that, Luis and his crew came in and moved everything to the middle of each room and covered it with plastic (the quote also includes moving furniture back to its original location). They also took down the mini-blinds, albeit leaving most of the brackets secured to the wall. I didn't think much of it, but I'm sure Luis would have been more than happy to take the brackets off, since he was very accommodating when I requested that all of the face plates for light switches and outlets be removed. The work itself was very well done. Straight lines on the baseboard, where the walls meet the ceiling, and around the windows and trim. There are a few areas where I will do some touch up work myself, but on a job this big that's to be expected. There were also a few areas of splattering on switches, outlets, and baseboards, but this was easily removed and again probably typical for a job this size. When they were done, Luis and his crew did a great job sweeping the floors and cleaning up. All in all it was well worth having the pros come in and do the job, which they completed in 1.5 days. Very satisfied customer!

They made absolutely no mess. Everyone who came in was awesome. I liked everything about them.

Luis and his helper showed up 30 minutes early which was a plus. They got right to work. I had 2 rooms painted - a guest bedroom and guest bathroom (I bought the paint). I had a number of outlets moved in the guest bedroom prior to this and there were 3 holes in the sheetrock; one rather large. I was very impressed how Luis and his helper first cut wood and then secured it behind the sheetrock so the patches would have something solid to grab onto - a big plus if I ever decide to hang a painting or shelf where these repairs were made. The patches are now strong and the walls are as good as new! Then they applied a gauze mesh with mud, blow dried it and then applied the texturing, which they also blow dried. While curing, they painted the bathroom and by the time they got to the bedroom, everything was dry. I honestly cannot tell where they made the patches for the wall - it's seamless! When they were done, they were meticulous about cleaning up - including vacuuming and mopping up the tile hallway floor outside the bedroom. They discarded all trash as well. One might find a slightly lower price than Luis, but his quality and professionalism will be hard to match. From my perspective, it's always worth a little more money to get a substantially higher and better level of work performed. I would recommend Luis to anyone, and I intend to use him for future painting projects.

We called Luis Paez, owner of Priceless Painting, for an estimate to paint the exterior of our home. He came out on one day and the next day he provided an estimate...the following week he began the process. He and his crew showed up on time each day. He lined his crew out each morning, and periodically throughout the day, he returned to check on their progress and quality. All went very well and his crew was excellent. Once the job we as finished, a few days later, we noticed some problem areas. We called Luis and he came right out. He saw the problem areas and schedule a date for his crew to return to address those areas. They returned on the date scheduled and addressed all the problem areas. Luis was very apologetic and corrected the problem areas at no additional cost. We are extremely pleased with the final outcome and we are planning to hire him paint the interior of our home this fall. Luis, Priceless Painting, and crew are excellent...Quality is a must...they strive for excellence...leaving the customer very satisfied...or so it was in our case.

Luis and his staff did a fabulous job in ALL areas. From the preparation to the painting of the house. They were very prompt, courteous, worked 10 hour days and at the end of each day they cleaned all areas and put up their equipment.. When they finished the job they replaced all items from the garage and re-installed all light fixtures. I would use Luis again and again and again. The best experience we have ever had!

Luis & his crew did a great job painting our 1940 home. I was really pleased with the following: - Communication (Luis did an EXCELLENT job responding to emails, texts & calls and answering my questions; overall I also thought he did a good job reaching out to me during the job to make sure they were doing what we wanted) - Prep Work (they spent FOUR full days prepping our house, & I could not have been more impressed) - Overall paint job, both look & quality - Pricing (I especially appreciated that even though our job had to be divided Luis did not charge extra for this) - Attention to detail & touch-ups (no job will be 100% perfect, but I appreciated the attempt to get as close as possible) - Using a different, no-VOC wall paint at my request There were a few snags that I feel should be mentioned: - Upcharge for extra work (they painted inside our kitchen cabinets & both our bathroom cabinets, which were not included in the original quote without consulting us; we did want one of the bathroom cabinets painted, & the overall price was still quite fair; however, I wish we had be consulted prior to the work being done) - Not using the cabinet/wood paint I had requested - Lack of coverage protecting some bathroom fixtures from paint (I?ve noticed some primer/paint on one of our vanities & toilets that I have not been able to get off) - Job felt a little rushed at the end; this did not seem to affect overall quality, but it was contrary to the feeling of thoroughness of the rest of the job Overall, we were happy with both the crew and their work, and we?ll be recommending them both on and off Angie?s List!

I chose Priceless Painting and Luis Paez from Angie's list due to the great reviews. I was disappointed in the work and the professionalism that I received from this company. We had the work done over the Christmas season. It resulted in us not having our kitchen through the holidays. The promised term of work went from 3 days to 7 days. We were promised that the work would be contained in the kitchen area. During the sheetrock finishing the plastic ruptured and the dust completely inundated the house. The response was for a worker to try to wipe down the home. This was not satisfactory. Luis did some sheetrock repair to the kitchen ceiling were I ha changed A/C vents. He told me he could match the texture of the ceiling. Once done and unmatched he told me no one could match the pattern. Refinishing the kitchen cabinets was a fiasco. I was replacing the hardware on the cabinets. I removed all the doors, which should have made the job easier. I did not want the hinges painted as a part on the job. When the work started the workers were shocked that this was the scope. We went from a wood stain finish to white paint. The work was extremely poor. I had to hire another contractor to repaint the cabinets. Other reviews had said that Luis was receptive to repairing any missed spots. He laughed at me when I asked about this. When we scoped out the job, I told him we were redoing the whole kitchen. I ended up paying extra for molding and doors that should have been a part of the job. I would say that that Priceless Painting / Luis Paez might be good for normal house painting, but don't be fooled by anything else. Sheetrock and kitchen cabinets are above their capabilities.

He was very nice and very responsive. I actually had to change my appointment at the last minute and he was really nice about it. It was extremely nice of him that I had to cancel it at the last minute and he said no problem. He asked when do I would like him to come back. He came back when I asked him to. He gave me a bid very quickly and called me back the next day. It was right in line with another painting contractor. I went with him because he was local. He has not started the work yet. I have a lot of work getting done here in the house. The price was reasonable. It was fair priced.

Luis, his carpenters and painters are professional and efficient. In addition, they are all personable people with excellent manners and treat your home and you with respect. Their painting and carpentry skills are top notch. The carpentry work, consisting of removing wood in poor condition and replacing it with hardiboard, was excellent. The exterior of the house was then painted and two accent colors applied. The job was well-executed and seeing my well-repaired and painted house puts a smile on my face and makes me feel relieved, as I know I have gotten my home ready in advance of any future retirement plans. Another attribute oI Luis' group is that they do what they promise to do, without prompting from the homeowner. That is much appreciated by me, as I hate to have to constantly remind someone to complete a job. They show up on time and work diligently the entire time they are at one's home. They are careful with items that have to be moved--for example I had some hanging planters that needed to be removed and they carefully placed these in the shade. I did not have to ask them to re-hang my hose hangers when finished--they did so. These small touches are important to a single woman who is not especially good with tools! Luis also goes the extra mile to find needed items. For example, I have an older house with a chimney cap that is no longer available in the big box stores, but he perservired until he found one. There is alot of work to be done on a Galveston home that is near the sea--the sea air causes a great deal of exterior damage. Luis and company took care of all of the problems that were troubling me on the side of the house near the sea, which had deteriorated. They gave the entire place a facelift. Moreover, they cleaned the entire area, including my garage floor and back patio, leaving behind little evidence that this much work had taken place. Besides their great carpentry and painting skills, I appreciate their respectful and kind attitudes. It is stressful to have work like this done, and they seemed to be aware of this, going out of their way to make me comfortable.

The owner came to make the estimate which he sent by e-mail. He was present each day to start his workers off and make assignments. He was on call by cell phone if we had problems which we did not. He checked in each evening as work was finishing. The project took 3 days with 3-4 men painting, and an hour the next morning to replace all furniture, and satisfy that floors were clean etc. The painters were a good team who seemed to enjoy each other and who did all I asked in terms of carefulness of antiques, even replaced some light bulbs in the very high ceiling and were generally very helpful. They spoke limited English but the owner's English is good. We would have them back to paint again. I understand they do exterior painting too.

Luis was very polite and professional. He and his crew did an amazing job on our beach house. They completely repainted all the walls in the interior and it looks excellent. The house was tidy when we returned to see their work. They also did extensive exterior painting on our beach house and repaired the 2nd and 3rd story beach house decking/banisters. The house looks brand new! They really did a wonderful job and we will definately use them again in the future for repair painting and maintenance. I would highly recommend them.

I called to schedule an estimate. I gave him the name and phone number of the person who would be at the house at the time. 20 minutes into the appointment time I got a call saying he was not there. After calling him he said he did not have the number written down and did not even try to call me and confirm. He did have the address and the time was confirmed before so he could have shown up at least.

Luis and crew did an excellent job! I will definitely have them back to paint the exterior!!

They were running late so they did not start the job on time, once they arrived they did a great job and our laundry room looks amazing!

When we first contacted Priceless Painting, we talked to Luis, he is very firendly and gave us a reasonable price for paiting our house. He started working very soon after we agreed on the price. They finish the job very fast wothout living the details unatended and left everything very clean.

We called on Luis once again to perform his quality service and he came through as usual. His work is exceptional. I even recommended him to my brother in law.

Mr. Baez arrived on time with his workmen and started right to work. The work was done perfectly and in shorter time tha expected. The whole crew was very respectful and professional. We are very satisfied with the job and would definitely call on Mr. Baez again if ever we need painting done.
