 + -1 moreThis shop had once previously cleaned up my wife's computer and done a creditable job at a fair price. when I brought them my computer, I thought I had a similar problem, plus a list of four specific complaints about my newly installed OS. My computer was ready to go the next day -- the promptness surprised me. Along with a virus cleanup, however, these folks had installed another memory chip, for which I was billed full price. It turned out that my "laundry list" was totally ignored; I still had all the minor problems I had listed. (For the record: (1) My own documents sometimes locked me out as an unauthorized user. (2) Files that used to open automatically as PDF files now wouldn't. (3) Shapes of windows were no longer independent by program. (4) Often the message came up "A plugin is needed to display..." (5) A favorite planetarium program was no longer available. (6) Frequent popups from Driver Update were occurring.) However, my computer's tendency to crash was fixed, and the slow running was improved.
Description of Work: Another technician had made changes and left several problems while replacing my Windows Vista with Windows 7. Symptoms of virus activity were also present (slow running, etc.).

 + -1 moreThey were fine. I've used them off and on for the last 5 years. They give an estimate and they pretty well stick to it. They are reliable and on time. It is carry-in service. They have never done anything wrong for me.
