MEDRANO'S TILE & MARBLE

The checks were written to him but the work was done from someone else he sub contracted to. The man who did the paint job never even got his money. We have called Medrano but he does not answer his phone and so far we cannot reach him. We will need to hire someone else to redo the work. We are looking to take him to court.

I hired Mr Medrano who came recommended by my neighbor. He gave me a bid, that was high, but he could start the next week when we were out of town. I had someone at my house to oversee the work. Mr. Medrano brought his painter by to look at the job. He removed the old tile. We went out of town and he never checked on the job again, The tile was installed crooked (glass tile) He did come back to fix it, but now it it is not flush. The paint was the worst nightmare. He subcontracted the painting. We chose a color from Sherwin Williams color wheel. He used Behr paint. The paint was very heavy in some places and streaky in others. He said he would redo the cabinets, but when I wanted the painter to take out the drawers and doors to repaint, he balked. At that point I know the painter was not going to do a good job, so we said no thank you. Mr. Medrano kept our initial payment which was half the estimate. That makes our tile job $45 a square foot. He never checked on his subs.
