Marlene's Cleaning

I called Marlene for an estimate; and, she was at our house the same day to provide one. Once the date was decided, Marlene showed up with a crew of 3 and immediately began work. They spent approx. 4 hrs. of constant work, which made the cost worth it, and did a very thorough job. They even had their own cleaning supplies! Marlene and her crew, are simply a very nice peoplen and are a pleasure to deal with. We will definitely be asking her come back!

I highly recommend Marlene! She came to clean our house bi-weekly and it was a huge help. We first met her when she came to the house to give us a free estimate. Her prices were very reasonable and we decided to hire her to do an initial "Deep Clean." This cleaning was around $300 I think - so quite a bit more than the bi-weekly but it was worth it. When I got home, the house sparkled and smelled so great. We have two dogs also, so getting all of the pet hair up isn't easy and it wasn't a problem for her at all. She has a team of 2-3 other people and I always trusted them in my house when I wasn't there. Each bi-weekly cleaning was done as thoroughly as the deep cleaning. Marlene was always very nice and super easy to schedule and work with. We now live out of state and miss her very much!

Marlene did a wonderful job making our house shine like new! I can honestly say that my husband and I did not realize how unclean our house was until we arrived home after she had worked for several hours. We have a dog who sheds and after her visit we honestly could not find one piece of hair anywhere. Marlene even added her own special touches including folded toilet paper and flower designs in the tissue boxes. We plan to use her regularly and eagerly await her next visit! She is extremely accommodating and flexible. I was very nervous about hiring someone to come into my home but I completely trust her and I am honored to pay her for her hard work.

I called Marlene after reading the reviews .... The day I called her It was about to rain real bad . She came over to assess my home with in the hour ... ( Wow this service ) I told her that I'm hardly at home , I just hate to dust . We came to an agreement on the price and the date of the job. Her team came on time and rocked my home out . At first it was 1 person , then 2 , then 3 . Now I am a very detailed person when I looked at my home after she got through which took about 2hr . Her team rose to the occation .... I will definetly use her again

The house looked great after the cleaning. Everything was cleaned including the refrigerator, ceiling fans, objects, etc. Nothing was broke, scratched, etc (other providers have been rough with my furniture/home). Marlene was great. I am very happy with the results and have scheduled routine cleaning now with Marlene. Marlene also cleans my son's home (he recommended Marlene to me as well as seeing her on Angies List). I highly recommend Marlene for cleaning services-you won't be disappointed!!!!

Used her 2 or 3 times but she did not meet my needs for cleaning.

Marlene and crew spent a few hours deep cleaning a 1200 sq ft. rental home that was left pretty filthy by tenant. They did a Great Job making the home sparkle and shine. It looks like it is brand new!

Marlene and crew were amazing. We are due to have twins in a week and I simply have not been able to clean. Marlene and staff made the house shine. Cleaned everything including baseboards and fans. We will be using her for a monthly cleaning. Highly recommended.

Moved in recently and luckily found Marlene on Angie's List. Service has lived up to strong reviews. She is in and out quickly and does a great job with her team. Has all the qualities you would want for this type of service, including efficient, friendly, detailed and thorough. -wood floors are swept, vacuumed and mopped -kitchen area and gas stove are cleaned to perfection -bathrooms are spotless -makes the bed -the best is that Marlene moves the furniture (even a big couch) to get underneath -covers all rooms, including the closet, laundry room and pantry

The builder didn't clean like they should have before we moved in and the light fixtures had all the construction dirt all over them and the cabinets and floors were terrible. Marlene was amazing and the house looks brand new. Thank you so very much

The service was exceptional. Marlene brought along a team of people and did a very thorough deep clean of our home. Every surface was spotless. She came out to give us a courtesy estimate before we scheduled the appointment. She was courteous, professional and trustworthy. We felt very comfortable with her and her team in our home and plan to use her regularly. We thought the price was very fair considering the size of our home and the detailed work that was done.

Excellent Very happy, my husband loves that when he gets home he is not over powered by cleaning chemicals. They did a deep clean for$200 which was very reasonable. Even her husband jumped in to get the job done. Marlene is very accommodating and does not mind dogs. On the deep clean they even cleaned the inside of my front load washer....wow who does that!

Marlene's cleaning really does a wonderful job, and I know that they know they have their work cut out for them when they come. What i love most is i never heard them complain about what needed to be done. Marlene you really don't know how greatful we are to have found you. Great. Marlene is a pleasure to work with. I like that she does the cleaning along with two other ladies. She speaks english and supervises her workers. They are focused on their work and stay on task. Work is completed in a timely manner. Marlene inspects the house before leaving to ensure that work is satisfactory.

Excellent; Marlene and her crew were punctual and professional, they did a great job of cleaning our home and we plan to use them to provide our regular home cleanings from now on. I talked with Marlene on a Friday to discuss performing a deep clean, she offered to come the next Monday (3 days later), which was great and showed her flexibility. I would definitely recommend them to others.

Marlene and her crew were outstanding! I had a deep cleaning of my home done. It. Was. Deep. Cleaned! Very professional and courteous staff. My 2 story home was spotless top to bottom. They were excellent and were able to get around some clutter as our home is a work in progress with renovations...but still managed to get everything spotless. I will absolutely hire Marlene again, and I've already recommended her to other friends. Thank you, Marlene, for all the hard work you put in to making my house back to the way it should be!

They come out every week to clean my house. They are really good. I will be keeping them consistently.

My mother and I have used Marlene's Cleaning Service for almost 2 years. When we originally hired them, a lady that spoke English came out to our homes to quote prices and we were very happy with their services for many months. Over time, the company changed owners and Marlene and the crews that would show up to clean our homes did not speak proficient English. I only add this because It is difficult to request details when there is a language barrier. The other difficulty that we both experienced was a constant change in staff members. I would repeatedly have to remind them not to use certain chemicals on my stainless steel appliances, granite, hard wood floors or powder in my carpets. The last services that they provided for us were on March 19, 2015. Both of our homes were not cleaned satisfactory on this date, so I attempted to contact Marlene 4 times (via phone and texts messages) so that she could come to my home and survey the areas that were not cleaned properly. I did not hear back from their company until the next day. At which time, she stated that she had an emergency and apologized for the delay in returning my calls/texts. That afternoon, her husband came out to my home; he took multiple pictures of the areas that were not cleaned and apologized profusely and acknowledged the less than acceptable job. At the request of her husband, I contacted Marlene to arrange a time for their company to return to make good on the services that had already been paid for. During this phone call, Marlene wanted to come back out to my home the following week to re-clean; I did not find that acceptable since the services were already paid for and we had guests coming over. After basically having to beg for them to take care of this promptly, Marlene told me that she would get back with me on an appointment. I never received a notice of when they were coming, and instead Marlene and 2 workers just showed up that evening, and begrudgingly re-cleaned the areas noted; which were still less than satisfactory upon them leaving for the second time. I do not speak much Spanish, but I did understand one of the staff members arguing stating that she had cleaned what I was complaining about not being cleaned. Mind you, 24 hours had transpired since the original cleaning appointment and there were about 10-12 different areas throughout the entire house that were not cleaned properly. At this point, I was done pleading for them to clean properly and had made up my mind to look for another cleaning service. This past Saturday, my mother and I both received text messages stating that they were no longer able to clean our homes. Since we were in the process of trying to find another cleaning service, the feeling is mutual. I will say, that my mother and I did pay for yearly deep cleaning services and had our homes cleaned bi-weekly. In the almost 2 years, we maybe had to cancel their services on 3 occasions due to illness. Also, we are both very meticulous and since we were paying good money, felt the cleaning services should be done in the same fashion. The only reason that either of us hired a cleaning service is due to physical handicaps and limitations. Before each cleaning session, our families took the time to pick up our homes so that Marlene's cleaning crew would not have to move multiple items in order to clean. We also provided all of our own cleaning supplies. I feel like the change in the quality of work has to do with constant change in cleaning staff that started happening about 6 months ago because it coincides with when the poor quality of work starting happening.

I contracted for a regular cleaning and Marlene's crew did a thorough cleaning of my house top to bottom. They cleaned, dusted and mopped every room and it spelled wonderful when they were finished. I was especially impressed with the way they handled mirrors and removing soap residue from the shower stalls. I had them come back two weeks later and plan to have them do a deep cleaning - to include dusting blinds and ceiling fans - in a few weeks. Marlene and her crew are fast, thorough, courteous and very professional. I highly recommend them to everyone.

Marlene sent me a text at 9:30 PM on Friday night asking me if they can come clean between 9:30 - 10 am Saturday morning. I was sleeping when I received the text Friday night. I did NOT confirm the time was okay in 12 hour window time frame she gave me. Since I hadn't heard from her during normal hours of the day, I made plans and went downtown Saturday morning. Marlene decides to show up at my house Saturday morning while I was gone. I sent her a text apologizing and asking to reschedule and have not heard anything back. Completely unprofessional. The times she has been late outweighs the times she was on time when we did schedule. When she is over an hour late, you will not get the courtesy text or phone call either.

I made an appointment with Marlene to bid on cleaning my 2,500 square foot home before I moved in. Her price was very reasonable. She and her crew started work the next morning and they did a terrific job. I highly recommend Marlene's Cleaning.

They were very friendly, polite, and did an excellent job cleaning. I felt very comfortable with the 3 women that came to do the work.
