Marlene's Cleaning

Everything was fine until my 9 year old daughter came home from school and found one of her snowglobes broken. She collects them and every one is special to her. The one broken was given to her by a friend for Christmas the previous year. I went to her room and saw broken glass and water all over her nightstand and the floor. No attempt was made to clean it up and the cleaning people didn't even tell me that it broke. I am very upset because she could have gotten injured by the broken glass and the water could have done some damage to the wooden table and other collectibles on it. My daughter cried about it for days. Needless to say, I will not be hiring them again.

Well she came out and we discussed everything in detail that we wanted done with a deep clean. I live in a relatively new home. Only a few years old. Definitely had some dust issues and marks on base boards and door frames etc that needed to be cleaned thoroughly. They did a pretty decent job the first time out although they missed dusting 2 of the A/C vents and some of the marks on the door frames that could be cleaned off. Noticed some small things missed here and there. I was not thrilled but could understand and decided to give them the benefit of the doubt. I called back for a follow up service to see if we would be using them long term and they came and cleaned for a few hours again. This time they didn't even clean off all the counter tops in my kitchen. I could tell that some things were not even moved to be cleaned underneath. There was other things missed as well. The kitchen floors didn't look very clean either. I was pretty upset about this and I really thought they would do better than this since they are charging an arm and a leg. Also there is a language barrier I found difficult to get past on the initial assessment day when we met. Not a huge deal but its makes it difficult for me to call and explain these things to Marlene over the phone.

They came on time and were very thorough, even though it was just a one time regular clean. I can't imagine what else they could of done with a deep clean. I Will definitely use them again!

Marlene is a Godsend! We have a large home with 4 messy kids and 2 large dogs, it gets very dirty! I've had other housekeepers quit in the past because our house is so much work to clean. Marlene is very punctual, professional and dependable. The house looks and smells amazing when she leaves. I would not hesitate to recommend her to others, I will definitely continue using her services in the future. They don't get any better than Marlene.

Marlene's Cleaning service arrived at my home sometime this morning while I was at work. They cleaned my entire home, the rooms that I selected anyways. The quality of the work they performed was amazing. The attention to detail couldn't be beat. Every little nook and cranny was made spotless. I've lived in this house for nearly 8 years and I think it is cleaner now then the day I moved in and I am the original homeowner. The tile floors look better than new. Every piece of golden retriever dog hair is gone, this is a major accomplishment no matter how you want to look at it. I will be scheduling return service on a monthly basis since I'm preparing to sell m y home and move West!!!. Thank-you so much Marlene, you make me proud of my new home. You and your crew ROCK!!!

They did a deep cleaning on 10/10 and did a great job. My house was spotless and I set up weekly service at a reasonable rate. They are very thorough and dependable.

Prompt for both initial appt. and for cleaning. Did a wonderful job, very professional yet friendly. They did a very detailed job. They had alot of work and were there all day. We are scheduling them on a monthly basis. Very happy with results.

It went wonderful. I have two dogs that shed. I also work long hours and I am not usually home. They came in and cleaned the house as if it was a brand new home. They did a wonderful job and I will continue to use them. Highly recommended.

I have a large dog who sheds quite a lot, and is no dog hair to be found. They were very professional and worked hard the entire time. They deep cleaned the entire house, washed the windows and polished the wood paneling in my den, cleaned the baseboards, cleaned the kitchen and eating area,and changed the bed linens. I am very impressed with their work ethic and how well they divided the work between the three workers. They were very efficient, polite and when they left, the house was sparkling.

Marlene gave me an estimate and went over everything with me prior to starting. She came out and stayed with her crew of 3 other ladies. They were very thorough and took their time making sure to get to everything. They moved the light things out of their way to to clean under them. They were on time, pleasant and really did a great job. They are now coming once a week.

Fantastic job! We just moved in and it was a mess! I was very happy with the cleaning. Everything, and I mean everything was clean. We will be having them come back every two weeks for regular cleaning.

Everything went extremely well. Marlene brought a crew of three and all four worked for hours to thoroughly clean the house. Everyone's attitude was cheerful and helpful. Marlene speaks English and one other of the crew spoke some English. Together that was enough to handle any concerns or any of my wishes. I have contracted with Marlene for regular house cleaning at a reasonable rate. I am very pleased.

Marlene arrived as agreed and gave me an estimate. We arranged to have the service at a later day. I had to unexpectedly reschedule the time of day and she agreed to begin later in the day. Marlene, Jose and Julia arrived and the cleaning began. Within the first fifteen minutes, I knew that they were good. They cleaned throughly and efficiently. They brought their own ladder and set about cleaning hard to reach places without my having to draw attention to it. I highly recommend them and signed up for a regular bi-monthly service with deep cleaning every three months.

They did a great job deep cleaning my house (3800 sq ft). Marlene and her crew arrived on time and were very responsive to my cleaning requests. I have decided to hire them for biweekly cleaning.

They did a deep cleaning on our 3200 square foot home, which includes 4 bedrooms, 3 baths, a game room and a media room. The cost was a little higher than other services, but they also cleaned the refrigerator, hand wiped all of the blinds (on both sides), and cleaned the baseboards. They cleaned all of the bathrooms, the kitchen, mopped all of the tile, vacuumed and dusted. We were very impressed that they had obviously moved the furniture to clean and our house sparkled when we got home from work. We went ahead and scheduled their service for regular maintenance cleaning, which was cheaper than the service I had been using previously. I have recommended them to friends and neighbors who are looking for a cleaning service.

She and a colleague walked the home prior to providing a deep clean quotation. She and her crew performed the work 3 days later as we had agreed. They were right on time for each appointment which impressed me. The work they did was just as we had discussed and everything looks great. We will be using her company on a bi-monthly basis from now on. We are very happy - they did a great job and were very prompt and courteous. Highly recommended.

I own a rental 2 story home that was "trashed" by tenant. Marlene met me at the property on a very short notice, gave me a bid, and came to do work on Saturday at my request. Marlene arrived at 8:00 a.m. with her crew as agreed. The cleaners worked until 3:00 p.m. and met or exceeded all my expectations. I will call Marlene again. I am very pleased. David R. Harris

I've used Marlene's service about 3 times and have been extremely pleased every time they clean. The first cleaning was a deep clean. Four people showed up and clean my house top to bottom and were here about 6 hours! The subsequent cleanings three people clean and they are here usually 2-3 hours. The house always smells so good when they leave?no harsh chemical smells.

She was able to do the first scheduled "deep clean" within 2 days. She showed up with a crew of 4 and spent almost 6 hours on my home. I keep my house picked up, but with 3 kids, the "deep cleaning" often goes neglected. Her crew cleaned everything...blinds, A/C vents, doors, scrubbed bathrooms, wiped down my washer and dryer...they did a spectacular job. I was very happy with the results. I committed to a weekly cleaning at that point. She has been very good with her cleaning and getting the job done. She has now been cleaning my house for 4 weeks and the only issue I have had is getting a specific time of arrival. I have a nanny who is at the house daily with my littlest one, and she has to be available to pick the older kids up from school at specific times, so it is important that I know when exactly the crew will be there. I have spoken with Marlene and she has now given me a specific time from here on out. Hopefully that will solve the issue. I thought she did a fantastic job, and would definitely recommend her to anyone.

Marlene's Cleaning did an excellent job. I suppose I am most impressed that my furniture was moved and walls and floors were cleaned completely behind the furniture. Bathrooms and kitchen are spotless and shiny. Marlene's Cleaning spent many hours and did a thorough job. I recommend Marlene's Cleaning most highly. I winced to pay $300 to deep clean but it was well worth every penny and more!

A little pricey compared to other quotes I received, but they did an excellent job of cleaning and I was totally satisfied. Would recommend them. Plan to use them on a regular basis.
