We were told by 2 other carpenters that it could not be done. "Danny Did It", and did a great job. He did some extra carpentry work, and it looks great. He left and found the matching molding. Looks like it has always been there. Also he took a piece of chair rail that I had not been able to find. He found that also. He will return on 10/14/16 to install the chair rail and do some ceiling texture matching. On time, courtesy call, cleaned up. We are so glad to now know someone we can trust. This man represents all that is good and professional among contractors.

Danny was great! Very professional, the work on the garage remodel is wonderful. Everyone who has seen it comments on now seamlessly the work blends with the rest of the house. The baseboard work was also great a big improvement!

Danny Hillger is who I call for all my repair/remodeling needs. I have known him for over ten years. He is honest, fair, and professional. He has unique design ideas which may result in cost savings! I do not hesitate to recommend Danny for any job. He helped my cousin with a remodel of her home when her original contractor disappeared. He is part of our family now!!! I wish you could see the the remodeling of his own home and that of his neighbor as well.

Danny recreated custom porch panels and lattice work, and installed porch decking and supports, railings, and restoration and re-installation of original brackets, gingerbread trim, and ornaments. Surfaces designed to drain, installed with all stainless fittings and treated wood to last. Danny also lined original windowsills with copper cladding, resurfaced wooden gutters, and hung kitchen cabinets . The house looks EXACTLY as it did in 1875!!! He was on time and on budget, and a joy to work with.

I live in a two story home and during an installation of a new surround sound system, the installer fell through the ceiling of second floor! Needless to say, there was an ugly gaping hole that needed immediate attention! We called several sheetrock contractors but Mr. Hilger was the first to respond. When I told him about the issue, he checked his schedule and advised of his availability which was within 48 hours. True to his word, he showed up as scheduled, provided a reasonable estimate and once given the go-ahead proceeded to patch up the hole. The end result was such that you could not tell where the patch work had been done! During the course of the repairs, Mr. Hilger was courteous, professional and very efficient. He was in and out and there was no cleaning up after him once be was gone. Two weeks after that we had a burst pipe that caused extensive water damage to a wall in our vacation beach rental in Galveston. Naturally, I called Mr. Hilger and once again, he came to the rescue. He completed repairs on a very large area of the wall and even repaired what the plumbers sheetrock guy had botched and did so, within a couple of days. Mr. Hilger did a remarkably seamless job! Clearly he knows what he's doing, he enjoys his work, and is one of the most courteous and professional and honest contractors I have ever hired. I will definitely use him for all future contractor work that he is capable of doing. I highly recommend Mr. Hilger because I know he can get the job done right the first time and at a reasonable price.

Danny was AMAZING! A previous contractor messed up the job and left destruction in his wake. Danny came in, reassured me, organized the job, dealt with a disaster area and turned a catastrophy into a beautifully remodeled space. He went above and beyond. He listened to my ideas and added suggestions for beauty, functionality and cost savings. He even let my dogs in and out when I wasn't at home! I will use Danny for future remodeling and maintenance and I will unhesitatingly recommend him to my family and friends. He is a jewel and I feel so lucky to have found him!
