Description of Work: I paid Creekside Plumbing $80 for an estimate on a whole house re-piping job because he's "too busy to be running around giving free estimates like the other guys do". His bid was $15,500 and it did not include drywall repair. His closest competitor was $7200, which included drywall repair and painting. His bid included absolutely nothing that the other guys didn't include (same Uponor Pex product, same guarantee, same number of runs, fittings, etc). I had two other bids at about $6000 and $6500. In the end I went with the $7200 contractor and am very happy that I did. There is no need for service contractors to price their work as high as Creekside Plumbing does. I wonder why he took a chance and inflated his price 100%. I think we all know the answer to that. Beware before inviting this contractor to your home. I paid his estimate, showed him to the door without saying a word and slammed it behind him.

When the first installation of the commode leaked, he came back proomptly, and when leak continued (due to a microscopic crack in the water tank) he replaced it right away with a new unit--no hassles for us. Charles Hunsucker runs a one-man operation and is clearly dedicated to doing the right thing in his work. I won't hesitate to use him again. He may cost more than some competitors, but he is worth it.
Description of Work: fixed a leak in outside hose bib pipe, installed a new, whiz-bang Toto commode. The "cost" includes the commode.

 + -1 moreCreekside Plumbing is an extremely competent service provider. They are very clear about pricing and offered concise options with related costs. They use booties when they enter your house and always clean up after themselves. When I need solid quality plumbing service fast, these are the guys I go to even if their pricing is higher than the 'cheap' guys.
Description of Work: They replaced an old water line from the street to the house that ran under the middle of the driveway. It had been previously replaced with a metal pipe which had rusted and ruptured. They worked in concert with concrete workers to get it done in excellent time.

 + -1 moreExcellent professionalism, gave tips on the gas log system, walked me through the qoute, step by step. Very knowledgable, and gave several options and even my DIY questions.. i didn't use him only because he gave me some tips that helped me realize that the expansion was not necessary at this time. Genuinely seemed to be more concerned with providing appropriate service than making a buck. I would use again.
Description of Work: Came to repair Gas Log fireplace. And provide qoute on expanding gas line for gas grill.

One thing that impressed me, was that he did ask me if I had any other plumbing problems that needed fixed while he was there, so as to save me another charge for a service call. When I have called him, he has been able to get to me pretty quickly.
Description of Work: He fixed a bathtub drain that was leaking down below slab level.

Their prices were high, but I thought they would replace my kitchen faucet with the same kind, because mine had a lifetime warranty. The replacement was scheduled on the spot, and the plumber was ready to do the work. He replaced my faucet with the wrong one, because he said they didn't carry the same kind I had. I felt they didn't want to honor their warranty. He did install the garbage disposal, but they were dishonest and didn't care about making me happy.
