STAY AWAY. Company hired to pre-wire house on new build. Had keypads and sensors installed. System never worked and would not service ... they argue it installed over year ago ... I say yes and system has never worked since day 1 and I have made aware since day 1. STAY AWAY if want the product supported, $1000s wasted.

I've experienced great customer service and top of the line equipment. I honestly decided to do business with them because they are a family owned company and I've been nothing but happy. Highly recommend

Great! The customer service was fantastic, and the technician that came out was so helpful! I definitely would recommend Cannon to anyone needing an alarm system! We are now using them for our home automation.

I have experienced dissatisfaction with Cannon Security starting with the 1st month I made them my alarm/surveillance provider. They were the only alarm company the builder would allow on the property during construction. It took a year for them to setup my contact information in the event of an alarm and every time I called, I was transferred to dispatch and they couldn’t help me. After my surveillance wiring was completed, I was informed to purchase 3 monitors and they would come out and complete the install of my cameras. They came out once the monitors were purchased and they informed me that I needed to buy TVs for monitors and not computer monitors and it would be an additional $350 on top of the $1700 I already paid them for the install. Communication to the monitors have failed 4 times since I purchased them. Once I purchased the VGA baluns which are $100 every time they fail, and the other three times they were purchased by Cannon and I was charged $175 plus $92 for the service call. I didn’t feel that was justifiable due to the fact they keep changing out my equipment with poor replacements. They came out 3 week ago due to my monitors failing and they replaced the VGA baluns again only for them to fail the same day. I called for them to complete what they started and I was informed it would be $270 for the technician to come out. I said to have a supervisor contact me so we could discuss the payment arrangements since I didn’t feel it was appropriate to have to keep paying for the same piece of equipment. They called and emailed only to tell me that they have never had this issue in the 21 years they have been a company and if I don’t return the VGA baluns to them, they would call the police and have me charged with theft of equipment. Unfortunately, you are unable to switch alarm companies while under an agreement, which is 3 years, but I will make sure I follow the guideline to ensure my contract is NOT renewed. I highly recommend that consumers DO NOT have Cannon Security provide alarm or surveillance services for them.

Very terrible customer service. And their systems have a lot of issues. Unfortunately I was stuck with them for 3 years due to the 3 year contract. Because of them, I will never use an alarm company that requires a term contract.

The owner is my son's friend. I used him to put my security system in. I liked him so much that I called back and I've had him install the television on the wall. They're awesome. I always recommend them. The most important thing to me is customer service and I think their customer service is A plus. They were not overly cut and that is honesty. They're pretty comparable as far as price. They were pretty much right on. They were on time and their courteousness and everything is great.
