ANDRE APPLIANCE SERVICE

If I could give a "No Star", I would. Came out to look at a fridge repair, gave me a cost for parts & services and service call ($86.55). Paid everything upfront. They (Andres) priced the parts & labor ($137.48) and then a few days before the scheduled service, calls and says they ordered the wrong part & had to order the correct part (no problem, it happens). Now this morning (the day to come and complete the repair), I get a call and they state I owe them an additional $262.00 for the "new" part & additional tech fees. Completes the work but wouldn't leave until he is paid. Oh it gets better, he scratched the floor while moving the fridge and then tries to blame it on my wife. Gets smart mouthed with her and says "what am I supposed to do, build you a new house". Worst service ever from costumer service to the technician.

Came out same day we called. Took dryer apart completely and discovered that the heating element was damaged. Unfortunately this Whirlpool part was not on their truck so had to order it from Whirlpool. Arrived next day from Whirlpool supply. Came out that afternoon to complete the work. Unfortunately, Whirlpool factory had packed the wrong part in the box (right number on box but wrong heat exchanger). Had to reorder. The right part came in next day. Came out immediately when it arrived. This time worked perfectly. Cleaned entire inside of machine, reassembled, and dryer is now working like new!

Repairman was out quickly, diagnosed problem, gave me a quote, ordered and installed the part and everything is working great.

They really didn't solve my problem, I have an older refrigerator, but they are really nice. They charged me a little less this visit because they could not fix the problem.

I called Andre and made an appointment for the next day. The person on the phone took down all the info on my dryer (brand, model number, etc) so the repair man would have the correct part when the came. About an hour later I got a call that there had been a cancellation and they could come within the hour. That was fine with me! The problem was diagnosed in abut 5 minutes, I was presented with a very fair estimate and the work was done quickly. Dryer works great now. I highly recommend Andres.

Motherboard was in stock on the truck.

Initially called Sears Svc Center on Sunday 7-12-15 to schedule repair; told by call taker that the earliest they had an available appointment would be Thursday, July 16. Asked if there was a way to get an earlier appointment; rep stated he would ask scheduling to check for earlier appointment and call me within 3 hours, they never called! Called Andre Appliance Monday (july 13) morning @ 8:40 a.m. spoke with receptionist who had to put me on hold several times while taking my information due to the phones were ringing off the hook. She advised the trip charge would be $45 as opposed to Sears $99; and set an appointment between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. The repairmen, Geroge, showed up at 10:30 a.m. came in plugged in the refrigerator and determined the compressor starter relay was defective. He replaced the relay and the unit started cooling immediately. George was very kind and very knowledgeable. Could not have been happier with the entire experience!

Called in the morning and rec'd an afternoon appointment. Receptionist was awesome. Received a quote for $49.95 to take a look at my stove. 6:06pm service person called and said "Hi, I know I'm late." I said "The receptionist said it would be as late as 7pm" and he said "Oh she did, well no one told me that." The repairman did not want to come out to my house and then increased the trip fee from the $49.95 I was quoted to $74.00 and then told me that that cost would not cover any labor or parts - it was just for him to give me a quote. Considering everything on the panel functions and it just either needs to be popped back into it's casing or some screws or a new housing ordered and he was able to tell me with pretty clear certainty that it would take him no more than 3 minutes to tell me exactly what I needed to order - asking me to fork over $74.00 for 3 minutes and whatever time it took for him to order a part online seemed unreasonably excessive.

Very good! They kept me informed. They were on time and honest. I would recommend them to anyone and I have used them several times.

Woke up to a 70 degree refrigerator 5/12/15 and looked on Angie's list for service people in my area, found Andre's and called. Even though it was before they opened someone answered the phone and took my information and said they were booked but would work me in. To my surprise George called about 8:30 and was at my door a few minutes later. He checked out the machine and found that the ice door was not sealing and allowing hot air to freeze the coil, not allowing air flow to the fresh food compartment. Part had to be ordered, but he was able to temperately fix the ice drop so it would cool. On 5/15/15 George returned with parts in hand and was able to repair the refrigerator in a very short time. What I like about George is he is what I call Old School, uses his knowledge to check a machine from top to bottom before making a decision on the problem. I will definitely keep this number handy for future repairs and would recommend then to anyone.

although he could not fix it, he spent considerably more time analyzing the problem then the previous person I had out. he arrived on time, was very nice and explained exactly why he couldn't fix it.

They failed to show up on the scheduled day for the service and then stated they had a record of my calling them for service but no record of an appointment being made.

Very pleased with the service and the serviceman that came out. I have used Andre's Appliance for several things over the years and have always been very satisfied with their professional approach at solving the problem. I would highly recommend Andre's for appliances and A/C work.

After several attempts to fix it they took it to their shop. I was told it runs fine in their shop so it must be my outlet. However, they told me they checked the outlet and it was working. I asked for a refund on the part they did not use. I was assured this circuit board was the reason the dryer was not working. I prepaid for the part and the labor to install it. The part was never installed. They refused to refund for the unused part. I did not ask for any of the money I prepaid for labor just the unused mother board which cost $129. I will never do business with this company again. I was told Lorena was the only one that could authorize the refund. She never bothered to call me herself just relayed the message through the dispatcher.

The call to Andre Appliacnce Service was pleasantly answered; technician was able to arrive the same day as the call. George arrived in a timely manner and was able to establish what was wrong with the gas oven. He had the part needed and replaced the ignitor. After verifying the part had been installed correctly and there was no gas leaking, George presented the bill and was then on his way. This business is close to our neighborhood. We prefer to support local businesses, and will recommend Andre Appliance Services in the future.

When I called them, it didn't take them very long; George, our service tech came out the next morning or noon. He fixed the hinges on the door, put it all back together and it is functioning perfectly since. Their cost was very reasonable too. I would use them again absolutely. They are very good about the different expertise they have on their staff. They were really good about talking to me on the phone and getting back to me on things. They came out on a Saturday. He had it all done within an hour, so it was great. George looked at it and he knew right away, and figured out how to get the hinges fixed. He did an amazing job. They are a wonderful service.

in small print and not mentioned at the time of sale. .We bought a used gas clothes dryer from them with a 90 day warranty but no refunds (which is noted on the invoice. When we got it home and ran it, it leaked gas as the original fitting was still on the dryer and made a terrible noise when in the spin cycle. Noise sounded like the belt was slipping . We called to have it serviced and was advised that they did not service this area (ten miles down the road from them). Therefore, we took it in to be serviced for the noise as we replaced the fitting. They are telling us now that it is running beautifully and belt did not need to be replaced. We have spoken to other people in the area, after the fact, and they have had nothing good to say about this company. I noticed your plaque (2012) hanging on the wall of this business. I wouldn't have it there.

The call center for Andre is one of the most professional I have encountered, polite, factual, and reassuring. Frankie has done work for us before and is excellent, on this occasion he went above and beyond to install a new valve for the fridge,m which meant that he had to climb over the counter to get the back of the unit. He gave us options to repair or replace the dishwasher, cleaned up after his work, and was very cheerful and positive. Would recommend Andre highly.

This company was great. We woke up to find our fridge was warm and our freezer seemed iffy, too. I called 3 Angie's List recommended providers for my area to try to find someone for a fast fix. All the providers called me back and were very polite and happy to help, but it was Andre's who could gave me an exact time frame of when they could come out. They estimated it would be about 2 hours from my call, but it ended up only being more like 30-45 minutes! The repairman arrived and checked everything out thoroughly. The problem was such that it could have been a number of issues (some requiring repair, some not). At first, he thought it was just a problem of things icing over as if the door had been left open a crack but he double checked and sure enough, it was a bad freezer fan. He had the part in his van and fixed it right away. He walked me through everything he was doing and explained how everything worked. I got a mini-lesson in fridge mechanics! Excellent service, very pleasant to deal with both the call scheduler and the repairman. I appreciate the very prompt response and the explanations. Price was very reasonable as well. Great service all around. Would definitely call this company again!

Technician (Frankie) knew right away from the model number that this was a 2001 model washer, brought the correct belts and replaced them on the initial visit. Diagnosed water pump binding and returned next day with new water pump, installed it and ran the washer through a wash cycle. Monitoring each wash cycle to make sure it continues to work. (Crossfingers)

I called in the morning, and they were able to come out before noon. The woman scheduling was extremely pleasant. Gary was the technician, and he was so pleasant and professional and got me fixed up in no time.

Sears wanted about three times that to come out. Andre Appliance's service man diagnosed the problem and figured out a way to correct it. Seemed to know the appliance well, was courteous and careful handling the contents of the refrigerator. We will definitely use them again.

I called the company on a Friday, the service technician was at my house on Monday and the washer was repaired by the following Monday. The technician, Gary, was very knowledgeable and discovered the problem quickly. The week delay in getting repaired was the result of tag -team phone calls to set up the repair date. Otherwise, the process went very smoothly and professionally.

I called them one day and two days later, they came out. The guy that came out was very nice and very helpful. He actually gave me some advice on how to fix some things, so that he didn't charge me for that. I was very happy with him and thought it would be great. He was supposed to call me back with a price because I needed a whole new piece replaced. Two weeks went by and I didn't hear from them, so I called them. They told me that they were going to call me and I asked them really. The guy that came out was wonderful. The office people seemed to be not quite own the ball. I was kind of irritated. The price was a little bit high. I actually ordered the piece online and got a handyman to install it. It didn't require an appliance person. They charged for a trip call. If they would have replaced the part, then they wouldn't have charged for the service call. The repairman seemed very knowledgeable, but he couldn't do anything. They were punctual on the first visit. I wouldn't recommend them.

Andre Appliiance came out on June 5 and George changed out the card and had it running in less than 5 minutes. The service was prompt and courteous. All in all it was a good experience.
