Description of Work: He painted the outside trim of the house, made a shelf and installed a faucet. He worked well, but is not too dependable. He is often absent and he doesn't report his tardiness. He will go AWOL and expects everyone to understand.

+ -1 moreHe has not completed the job. He did contact me once stating that he was baptizing his little girl... or a confirmation and that he was unable to do it after he took 250 dollars from me. He has not called me back. I have repeated called him and he has ignored me. It has been already a week and he has done no work. 3/12/12
Description of Work: Juan Ruiz independent contractor - He originally did some roofing repair in early February 2010. He charged me half upfront and then upon completion, he was paid the rest. Total cost was 750 dollar. For and additional 400 dollars, he repaid a damaged board on the roof, corrected installation on the ventilation aread. Earlier this month, being satisfied with his previus job, I asked him about correcting the roofing shingle overhang. The prior contractor trimmed the perimiter as opposed to leaving a 1 inch shingle overhang. At the present time, this is the job that Mr. Ruiz was contracted to fix. He asked me for 250 upfront and has not done any work since. Please be aware of this.
