We had a polyurethane roof that had to be stripped off and replaced. We have a low slope roof and we do not have a false ceiling in the house. Mr. Ortegon suggested to increase the amount of insulation and use a TPO roof. He also added new gutters that gave the roof a very neat finish. The men that perfomed the work were most respectful and prompt to work. In spite of the messiness created when one roof is stripped off, it was hardly visible, because his staff did an excellent job of cleaning up. Also important to us was to have them respect our plants as they did the job. We were most impressed with their ability to work around our plants and yet perform the job well. We are very pleased with the appearance of our new roof and the savings in our electrical bill. We are just as pleased to have found a roofer we could depend on.

I contracted Joel Ortegon to fix my leaky roof for my store in Laredo. Boy was that a mistake! I paid $3500 for lousy work. He claimed to have fixed the roof, but the next time it rained, it started to leak again. There was supposedly a 2 year warranty. IT WAS A PAIN AND A BIG HASSLE to get Joel to come out the 2nd time to fix the leak. I would need to constantly call his office only to get brushed away. My roof leaked AGAIN in a different area the next time it rained. I had to call constantly over a week before he even showed up. Right now, the issue is still yet to be resolved. I would NOT recommend Joel Ortegon Roofing. STAY AWAY! The quality of work is very poor, and you will have trouble getting him to come back. Don't say I didn't warn you!
