Joaquin Vasquez and his crew were very professional and did everything they said they would do and more. When it was apparent that the 20 piers that they had contracted for were not quite enough, they installed 5 more to make sure our house was stable and level, and only charged us the original price of the estimate for the 20 piers. On top of that, they repaired the cracks in the brickwork of our house. They also poured a small extension to our front porch for one of our porch posts to rest on. The builder of the house had not made it right in the first place. That was also for no charge. They cleaned up everything after they were done. I'm very happy with the service and I would use them again.

Our first experience with FCS was not so good. I wrote a long and, I felt, truthful review about our experience and gave them a D rating. Immediately after my review was submitted, the owner, Joaquin, contacted my husband and I and wanted to meet in person. We met the same day. He profusely apologized for the negative experience that we'd had and offered options to "make it right". My husband and I were leery to trust FCS again but gave them another chance. I can honestly say that I am so glad we did. Under Joaquin's supervision, the employees showed up when they said they would and did very good work. What started out as a bad situation for us turned into a blessing. We also wanted to thank Joaquin for taking the time out of his (and his crew's) busy schedule to right the situation.

We got 4 bids for foundation repair. 3 said we needed 27-31 piers-Joaquin's price was 2nd highest, but about $4000 less than highest price. Cost sounded outrageous at first but after watching his crew work 6 days a week for almost 3 weeks in 100 degree heat, digging 4' square holes by hand to get down to old piers, then drilling 8' deeper with auger to set new supports, we were amazed at how reasonable the cost actually was. All of the windows and doors now open and close easily, the foundation looks great, and they even spread the extra dirt around the yard where needed. Joaquin was available every time my general contractor had a question or concern and was on the job site within an hour every time she called, explaining the process and addressing the issue. Was a little concerned that mortar might not match, but they did an amazing job of that, too! When all was said and done, they cleaned everything up (plus some!) and built up the dirt around the outside of the foundation. Not only would I use them again, my GC says that she now has HER foundation company. HIGHLY, HIGHLY recommend!!

From the very first contact with Rodrigo, everything went as planned. The crew was amazingly hard working. The attention to detail was amazing, making sure that all was going well inside the house as the house was being lifted on the outside. All along the progress, the communication was very helpful; everything was explained along the way.

My wife and I are very happy with the work and understanding that was provided by Foundation and Concrete Services (FCS). My wife and I met Joaquin Vasquez in 2011 after discovering our recently purchased home was in need of foundation work. Mr. Vasquez was very detailed in what steps needed to be taken to insure a proper repair and was able to assist us in securing other services such as tree trimming, carpet installers (we had internal piers), and a plumber. I believe our circumstances were a little more difficult because our home had been repaired by another well know company before our purchase. My story is long, so let me cut to the chase. If you want company that can insure a proper repair in the most extraneous of circumstances and you want a company that isn't "just in it to sell piers" Mr. Vasquez is your man. He is fair, his staff is courteous and clean, and, most important, they get it done on time. -Jason Darvin

I flip houses on the side so I'm always looking for contractors who are not only affordable, but those that can provide exactly what they promised and do it on time. I received Foundation and Concrete's info from a friend and decided to have them meet me at a couple of houses I was considering buying. Joaquin met me on site and brought all the tools needed to complete the survey. He was able to tell me immediately how much deviation there was in the foundation and then followed up by emailing me a professionally drafted report. Joaquin met me at several homes conducting the same survey free of charge and was always able to get me a quote in writing the same day. Joaquin was honest enough to point out various issues I hadn't considered such as plumbing, framing, doors, etc that were caused by the footings, a move that kept me from moving forward on one house, and costing him business but gaining my complete trust. I finally hired him to install 6 piers on a house I purchased in Plano, TX. His bid was significantly cheaper than 3 other contractors and I trusted him from our consultations before. His crew showed up on time, professionaly, and got to work. After we started uncovering the foundation we found additional damage, and since his crew was already on site, I had Joaquin add 3 additional piers. He cut me a great deal seeing as his guys were already on site. They even did some work that was never even discussed in their scope by hauling off a ton of old shrubs that had to be removed to install the piers and fixing a broken sprinkler line that they uncovered. All in all, I couldn't have been any happier with the way things worked out. I saved money, the house got the repairs it needed, and they were in and out in less than a week.

Mr. Vasquez was very professional. He explained my options and assisted me with a structural engineer and plumbing company to safeguard our investment. His workers were very professional, courteous and obviously knowledgeable of the work. I would recommend this company highly.

The company came out the next day after I called to give me a quote. They explained the service they provided very well and the quote was very reasonable. During the work, all the workers were very professional and kept the mess to a minimum. Everyday the work area and around the house were clear, and clean. Highly recommend them.

I sent out messages to the top rated foundation companies on Angie's List for some work a structural engineer suggested during the inspection process of my new home. Rodrigo called me the next day (a Sunday!) with an extremely competitive bid and detailed explanation of the work. With the lowest price and high ratings, I moved forward with them and am very happy I did. They not only got the work done efficiently and professionally, but reset all the stone masonry work on my back patio at no extra charge. I will continue to use them going forward for all the work I need.

I love their service. It was fantastic. The guy gave professional opinion, and he told us what he was going to do. He showed up all the plans. The crew was on time in their duty. They were very clean and neat with their job. They worked professionally. My experience with them was totally great. I recommend them highly.

They were very prompt, professional, and knowledgeable. They have really good customer service and followed up a lot. They really wanted to make sure that we have all our questions answered.

I think Foundation and Concrete Services' quote was a lot higher than everybody else, they wanted to do too much. Everybody I talked to said there 2 corners that needed to be invested and I believe they wanted to put pillar all throughout the whole house. It's about a $3,000 - $4,000 job, they quoted me $11,000. He was very nice. After I talked to them, they kind of adjusted some things. They were very professional with their time.

I contacted Joaquin and Rudy to give me an estimate to fix the foundation of this rental property after securing quotes from a number of other contractors. Their bid was not only the best value, it provided for piers and interior slab stabilization in locations that others did not. They really took the time to analyze my foundation (and interior fireplace) to make sure the repairs would be lasting and effective. They began their work within just a few days of getting the "go ahead" and diligently completed the project within a week (start to finish) using a fairly low-key, but obviously experienced crew. Now, this was a rental rehab so they didn't have to be terribly careful with how they treated the interior floor, but I found all the holes were very well finished off with concrete after the lift, and all the excess dirt was either placed carefully back against the exterior to provide proper drainage swales, or to level off areas of the yard that needed a little boost. In addition to clean up, the guys went over the exterior of the house with a fine tooth comb, pointing up brickwork and making sure edges lined up the way they should. Finally, they pointed up some of the fireplace brickwork and walked me through the home showing me all the lift points and results. As part of their service they provide engineers reports and drain tests - both conducted by independent companies. The results, along with lift diagrams, permits, contract and transferable warranty are presented in a three-ring binder that organizes all the pertinent information is one convenient place. This was my first experience with leveling and lifting a foundation. Working with Joaquin and Rudy was an absolute pleasure. So much so, that I now consider them my "go-to" guys for any future properties that made need foundation work.

I was terrified about this whole procedure, from the initial selection of the contractor to the actuality of what it would cost, and what damage we would have to deal with afterwards. I went on Angie's list - one of the contractors was not listed. Another (referred by my realtor) had two bad reviews. Foundation and Concrete Services had four great reviews, so I selected them. Joaquin Vasquez was very professional and reassuring. He was the only one who suggested we drill on the interior - but his reasoning was sound and made perfect sense. We could see how the work suggested by the other contractors would have resulted in further problems down the road - for as much as twice the cost. His crew worked out in blistering heat with not one sign of bad temper or complaint. They cleaned up every day and left everything in as optimal a condition as they could, considering the circumstances. I had questions along the way and Joaquin was wonderful in answering them and being available to "hold my hand." On the actual day of the lift, he was on site explaining every groan and pop we heard. To our great relief, we had very little internal damage. I think this was due in part to the slow progression of the lift going from one side to the other in increments so the slab and frame did not experience too much stress. We did lose all the bushes in the front but that was expected and actually, will be a good thing in the end. We expected to lose the kitchen floor, but only twelve tiles popped and Joaquin had one of his crew replace them so we were saved a costly repair. After the house was lifted and stable, Joaquin's crew repaired all the brick and concrete cracks on the outside so you cannot tell where they ever were. I was resigned to the fact that the patches in the concrete were going to be ugly and obvious as the pavement in our front entry, drive way and parking area in back are a unique mix with visible large stones - and forty-seven years old at that. But I was thrilled when I saw the final patches - they matched the surface exactly and once the area gets some soil and wear, it will be invisible. I am using this company again for construction of a retaining wall and driveway repair. I HIGHLY recommend them to anyone who needs foundation work.

My husband and I purchased our home in March 2011. Foundation and Concrete Services did the foundation work/repair on our home prior to our purchase of it. We have been working with Joaquin, the owner of the company since then on various issues unrelated to any work he initially performed on the home prior to us buying it. He advised us on resolving drainage issues and brought a few of his men to our property to perform the small job. When it was discovered that our garage flooring was not up to par structurally (work that he didn't perform), Joaquin knew immediately what the issue was. We basically had to have a new garage floor installed and additional beams had to be placed underneath our home. He was very pro-active in getting an engineer to draw up the plans for the work he was to perform. He gave us a detailed estimate and contract, answered any questions or concerns we had and corresponded with us in a timely manner. The job Joaquin performed was very extensive, complicated and labor intensive. It's clear he can do the small AND big jobs. Joaquin is very knowledgeable when it comes to foundation repairs. His prices for labor and materials are extremely reasonable as I know that from doing my research and calling other companies. Joaquin's workers are very nice and pleasant. We had 2 or 3 workers at our home for about a month and they cleaned up their worksite when the job was complete. My husband and I are very happy with the work that was performed and the service we received. I definitely recommend this company to anyone that wants a reliable, professional, and affordable foundation repair company.

After setting the piers and it became time to check the level of the slab using inside the house monitors, the gentleman even took off his shoes prior to entering (shows respect). There was plenty of dirt left over as would be with any work like this and they asked me if I have any places I'd like for them to put it. They distributed all of it in various places around my house, flowerbeds and trees and even smoothed it out. Over and above, they repaired every crack they could find around my home and not just the ones around where they installed the piers. The following day, Joaquin delivered the Certificate of Warranty in a small 3 ring binder and went over it all with me. Foundation and Concrete Services, as said previously did great work for me and I would recommend them to anyone.

I expected this to be a traumatic experience, however Joaquin was extremely reassuring, and his crew was excellent, showing up on-time, working late in 105 degree heat every day. We asked and he welcomed lots of questions, felt like we understood what work and progress would be made each day. Crew finished up late day three. I was a little concerned the crew was not covered under workman's comp, however he suggested that he and his crew would sign waivers if that made me feel more comfortable. There were no surprises on the final invoice, he had a $500 coupon, and offered a 6% discount for not using a credit card. Joaquin obviously understands customer service, he was pleasant, thorough and returned all calls. His painter was very good and I must admit I am a little more than picky. As an result, that painter won a bid to paint my house and another follow up project inside.
