Brent and his crew did an extensive remodel of our upstairs bedroom and bathroom. The end result was excellent. They did fine, professional work and they stuck to their schedule despite unexpected problems. They even did their best to limit the amount of dust and mess in the house. We will definitely be hiring Brent again the next time we need work done.

Brent and Rocco were great to work with. We had a smaller remodel than what they were used to, but they paid as much attention to our job as any of they're other, bigger, projects. Things went as planned and Brent explained everything as the work progressed. They accommodated all our changes and the whole thing worked out beautifully.

Brent was excellent to work with throughout the remodeling process. Since we were in Houston prior to the move, Brent sent us emails weekly with photographs of the progress on the remodeling. We also spoke with him frequently via phone to address specific questions between monthly on-site visits. Brent also coordinated with an interior decorator to prepare paint, flooring and tile options for the entire house, including the bathrooms and fireplaces. He also coordinated with a landscaper to remove all existing plants and design a new layout for our courtyard. After move-in, Brent coordinated remaining installation items and addressed the discrepancies that came up. I highly recommend Brent and his company for your home remodeling needs.

We had Brent and his team gut and remodel our kitchen. From the get-go, we felt comfortable with Brent. He made sure that we thought of all of the possibilities within the design phase and advised us when we were out of our comfort zone. During the build out, we were kept apprised of the progress and any difficulties encountered. Brent and Rocco were extremely responsive to all of our many texts and emails throughout the process. The only additions to the budget were due to some issues that could have only been found after floors/walls were opened (it is a 1950s house, so that was not completely unexpected). We are extremely happy with our new kitchen and wouldn’t hesitate to use Helton Remodeling in the future.

Beyond Handyman Services is an excellent company. They do beautiful work within budget and to schedule. We purchased a home in Austin from out of state and hired them to coordinate work to be done in a short timeframe by several subcontractors, as well as completing a huge list of their own. Brent Helton was a trustworthy agent on our behalf and made sure the work was done to our high expectations, which we found out is also his standard. He coordinated demolition of brick from the living room fireplace wall, on counter spaces, around four columns and an arch in the kitchen and the installation of Texas stone; electric & HVAC repairs/upgrades; plumbing for an upcoming kitchen remodel prior to the demolition & installation of reclaimed hardwood floors throughout. And all of this within a month. Their list included: painting the living/kitchen/dining spaces and closets; installed baseboard throughout; replaced thresholds & trimmed four doors to accommodate the new floors, made masonry & drywall repairs inside & out, replaced a toilet, advised on improvements/repairs and helped us create a schedule of future projects. Brent worked very well with the sub-contractors we hired and when we needed other specialties, he offered excellent recommendations. Brent proved himself as a conscientious, honorable, communicative, knowledgeable professional. We highly recommend Beyond Handyman Services. Brent and his people are our handyman resource and trusted building & construction collaborators. They certainly live up to their name by delivering ?beyond? any handyman services we?ve ever used.

Brent Helton was extremely responsive. He returned calls promptly. We explained that we purchased the two-hour handyman deal knowing that there was more work than could be completed in that two-hours. However, we wanted to get an estimate and see how much of our list could be completed within that timeframe. Brent scheduled a time to see what needed to been done. We prioritized our extensive repair list with Brent. He got back to us within 48 hours with an estimate and a timeframe for starting the work His employee/workman showed up when expected and over two days completed the tasks noted above. The workman purchased a caulk color for the master bath based on some grout that had come loose in the bathroom. However when he completed grouting it was clear the color was way off. He purchased new grout, removed the grout and redid the work without charging for the additional labor or the new caulk. All other work completed was done without any problems and he did a nice job of cleaning up afterward. We still have quite a list of work that needs to be done and intend to have Beyond Handyman complete these tasks as well. I would recommend this company.

Contractor showed up on time, clearly explained the work and carefully removed the down spouts. Really liked this guy and would definately do business with hime again.

Brent showed up right at the agreed time, which is very important to me. He covered the work area with canvas to keep it from getting dirty, and I appreciated that. He took down the existing light fixture over my kitchen island (which is in an inconvenient spot), disposed of it for me, then measured the hanging pendant cords on my new fixture to my specifications and then installed it. The other task was to replace a light switch that quit working. Both jobs were done with efficiency and professionalism. I can't recommend them highly enough - they will be my 'go-to' business for all handyman tasks from now on.

Unfortunately, I was out of their service area, but at least the owner called me back within a couple of hours to let me know that. Typically handymen in Austin take days or weeks to call you back, so I appreciated the courtesy.

Owner Brent did an excellent job, even when faced with changing priorities and unforeseen complications. He also made sure I was able to maximize my budget by discussing which methods or options were most effective from cost and durability standpoints, presenting the information for me to decide. He added even more value by giving advice and demonstrations on how to best accomplish improvement tasks I decided to do myself. Honestly, I am the type of un-savvy person who could totally be taken for a ride by an unscrupulous home improvement contractor. Brent provided lots of details so I could feel comfortable with his plan to accomplish the work. Pricing was very competitive and completely transparent.

We had an unfortunate accident that resulted in moisture in our walls. My wife recommended that I call someone before ripping the baseboards off myself and trying to repair them. Unfortunately, the accident happened on the weekend and I knew it would be difficult to get anybody out on such short notice. Beyond Handyman Services took my call on a Saturday and gave me advice on what I should do until they could come out(I also left voicemails before calling Handyman Services with many other Angie's List clients and still have not heard back). I decided to hire Beyond Handyman to repair my baseboards and take care of the long honey do list that I had. Brent spent 2 days at my house doing a variety of thinks-hanging a large mirror, grouting tile, fixing items the kids broke, and painting. The final item I had Brent work on were the baseboards. The carpentry work that he performed was excellent and beyond my expectations! Beyond Handyman did a great job at my house and I will be using them again.

Brent was very nice and did exactly what he said he would do and finished early, so his price ended up being $100 less than he had bid. He was efficient and worked steadily. He checked in with me periodically to make sure I was pleased before moving on to another task. The caulking he did was beautiful and even all around. Everything else was done exactly as it needed to be. He spent a lot of time trying to clean up dried glue and sloppy caulk left by the previous contractor. He also saved us money on parts and supplies he had on his truck. We appreciated Brent's eye for detail and excellent work. He was also cordial and patient and had the kind of work ethic anyone would appreciate. We will definitely call on Brent again. In fact, my husband talked to him before he left about another project he had in mind.

We were having a hard time deciding on the type of flooring to lay in our large family room. Brent came to our home and discussed with us all of our options. We often called him from the store to tell him what we had found and get his opinion on the type we were choosing. After much debate we decided on laying a porcelain plank floor. Brent had never worked with this material and learned quickly how to lay the floor. We were very pleased with his professionalism and work ethic. Brent did an excellent job and the room looks great due to his hard work.
