These were follow-up projects to work that was completed earlier this month. I wanted Clear Creek to do the work because we are satisfied with their quality workmanship. The window needing repair was from a replacement done several years ago by another company that was not done correctly. During recent window cleaning, we found the 5' fixed glass window on the 2nd story was loose in the frame and had been leaking. After Kevin checked it, he found it was just held in by deteriorated foam and the caulk had lifted. It was a difficult repair because it was on the 2nd story and the frame was installed in rock work, which was uneven and not uniform. The attic stairs: the door would not close and hung open. It just looked tacky, and I was concerned about flying insects getting in. Since it is all one unit, it needed replacement. If Clear Creek had not done the window repair, I'm not sure who I would have found to do it since most window companies do not repair windows they did not install. That's where this company differs from the rest. They repaired and re-caulked the 2nd story window so it's sealed and firmly in place. They also re-caulked 4 2nd story clerestory windows in the family room to assure they would not leak or become loose in the future. The work looks great, and we're very pleased to have this worry taken care of. Kevin impressed me again because the caulk they had was white, and that was not satisfactory to him since the window frames were tan, so he made a trip to get tan caulk. The attic stairs were a bit of a challenge since the new unit was not the same size as the original. This was another case where they quickly determined what needed to be done to do the install correctly. They removed the molding and old unit, installed the new stair unit, doing an excellent job of sheetrock/tape & bed/spackling the extra space left from the old unit, and replaced the molding. It works and looks great. They primed the stair door so it's ready to be painted with the entire garage. As usual, these are the nicest people to work with, and the end result is always what you hope it will be. Can't recommend Clear Creek enough.

I got 3 bids for these projects. While Clear Creek was the mid-bid, that's not the reason I chose him to do the work. Kevin seemed to "get" the concept of what we were looking for as an end result. And it turned out that way. We could not be happier with the end result. He and all the people he had working here were friendly, professional and did a great job. The garage cabinets are awesome. We don't do attic storage, so we were in dire need of storage for Christmas items, files, house and yard supplies, i.e., all the things you have stuck in various places because there's not enough storage space. We had an ugly smish-smash of metal cabinets, shelving, and Rubbermaid storage containers which stuck out like a sore thumb when the garage door was open. Now you see sleek white cabinets with stainless steel knobs. There are so many I couldn't fill them all up. What an improvement for a garage, and I love the melamine for outdoor exposure. The utility room re-do was due to several floodings by the water softener and washer causing swelling to pressboard cabinets. They removed the old cabinets, repaired drywall, installed new upper (way larger) storage cabinets above the washer/dryer and a base cabinet, new ironing board door, electrical plug for a disposal, undermount sink, seamless granite countertop, and the room was freshly painted. He replaced the ugly garage-type flourescent fixture with a beautiful iron one that more closely matches our other fixtures. He took one of our kitchen drawers so they could color-match the stain on the utility room cabinets. He found granite that matches the granite in our kitchen. The whole utility room/kitchen area is in harmony and has a custom look now. I left the tile floor intact since the tile itself was fine, but the grout was badly discolored. After several failed attempts at cleaning the grout with various products, I found a company on Angie's List that re-grouts tile, so the room is totally beautiful now. To his credit, I found him to be more critical of workmanship than we are. There were a couple of areas that had been texture-repaired, and he did not like the look. We didn't even notice it. He had the paint crew come back and re-do it. We furnished the faucet fixture, disposal, knobs for cabinets, and light fixture. He let me spec the paint I wanted, as I'm fussy about that. Kevin will answer the phone or call you back. He is responsive and takes pride in the work he does, his business, and reputation. He would be the only one I would call for any future projects since we have a happy track record with him. And I like the way he does business, which is pretty rare these days.

This is my second time utilizing this company. Again it was an outstanding experience. The owner came at the exact time he said he would to survey the needed work and provided a written estimate within 24 hours. The owner and his helper came on the exact day and at the specified time to do the work. They brought with them everything they needed to do the work and finished the work in about 6 to 7 hours the same day. The new windows and posts are beautiful. We are now able to open the windows easy because before you had to lean way over the sink and try to get enough leverage to lift the window. Now all we have to do is to turn the crank of the casement windows. This was the owners recommendation the last time he was here finishing up another job. I am getting ready to have them bid on some more work I need at the house which will include an entire kitchen remodeling.

Overall experience was wonderful!!!

Kevin returned my latest call to him in a timely manner. He also responds to email messages quickly. Since he has done other trim work in the past I knew what to expect in the process. I explained to him that we wanted a crown molding unit built over our eight foot kitchen window to match the one he had previously built in our family room. Kevin arrived on time and completed the job in a timely and professional manner. Since I am handy around the house, I always handle the nail puttying and painting of the trim unit. Kevin will deliver or have the trim material delivered a few days early if you want to prime or pre paint the wood before assembly. Kevin has always been fair in pricing, neat and courteous in his dealings with us. He always leaves your home and his work area clean at completion.

Each of the 11 windows posed a different set of challenges and surprises, but Kevin with Clear Creek Contractors made it seem effortless. I couldn't have asked for better contractor. The carpentry work that was done on the inside of each window to frame the windows looked like a picture in a magazine. We were very impressed with the craftsmanship of Kevin and his crew. Everyone was very knowledgable, friendly, professional and respectful. As messy and dusty this job could have been, I was mostly impressed as how clean they kept the work site.

After a real bad experience with another contractor, Clear Creek was hired to finish the job of building our new offices. They were honest, dependable, and did exceptional work. I met each one of the sub contractors and found them all to have genuine integrity. Each sub contractor was a true professional, honest, and took pride in their work. I never had to worry about the job being done right. Clear Creek stayed on top of the job and made sure it was completed to our satisfaction. We are very pleased with our offices. I only wished I had called Clear Creek first.

We just bought an older home and wanted to open up the living areas. We have a half vault ceiling and wanted to remove the load bearing wall directly underneath the vault point. Kevin responded to all of our phone calls and fit us in just in time to show off our new open space to family over the holiday weekend. Kevin and his crew are very respectful and meticulous and he made sure that I was completely comfortable with how they were going to remove the wall. The beam they installed is the perfect height we wanted and it is very secure. He also recommended a great electrician and we have plans to use Clear Creek again soon to help with some masonry issues we have with a stone veneer. I would recommend Kevin and Clear Creek to anyone!

Kevin called right away, came right out and gave an estimate. He started the project the next day and finished two days later. He and his crew were on time, professional and courteous to my household. They were not overbearing at all. They were mindful of my yard and cleaned up after themselves. The sheetrock they installed matched perfectly with what I already had, which was very impressive. Kevin even mounted a television for me, which was not part of the original job. He really went above and beyond.

.The quote is for $1000. There has been a death in his family and that is reason for the delay. He is very easy to talk to. He is very friendly and outgoing. He just seems to be a good person. He seems to be a fair person price wise. I felt like after speaking to him that he would do a good job. It took him a week to give us the estimate.

We purchased a house and wanted to have crown installed and painted prior to move in. I called several companies listed on Angie's List leaving messages with most. After speaking with Kevin with Clear Creek Home improvements, I knew that I had found the right person for the job. l asked for references and Kevin provided several. All of them spoke highly of Kevin. The crown looked wonderful. I could not find any area of his work to question. There were over 20 corners to cut and each one looked perfectly cut. Great Job! If I had a complaint, it's that I didn't have him do the kitchen too, but, I will be getting him back out there soon for that task. I'm very happy with Clear Creek Home Improvements. Any job I have in the future, I'm calling Kevin first.

Kevin is always prompt in returning phone calls or email messages. He arrives on time for work and performs the agreed upon work in a timely manner. He is neat and cleans up the work area before leaving each day and at the completion of the job. Kevin and anyone that he has ever brought to our home has been courteous and polite.

We prayed together. Then Zip, Zap, Pepsi Cola Bottle Cap and it was done. This guy knows his stuff. Kevin did an excellent job installing the molding and takes pride in his work. He is neat and takes care to protect room furnishings. I appreciate him being on time for his appointments.
