***11/25/2014*** Don't leave negative feedback or this company will attack you and your employer. They will also go as far as tracking down your Linkedin account and copy and paste your particulars everywhere they can as well as your picture. My company never did business with go-granite.com I did as an individual yet they have decided to pull my company and my work into question. I stand by my word and my complaint no matter the tactic the owner of go-granite.com uses to cover it up. Attached is my complaint to the BBB that details the whole episode in full. I am also attaching the link to the D- rating that go-granite has on the BBB website. Since my Yelp positive feedback is in question I will also go so far as to detail I've requested it be removed from their website (go-granite.com's yet it still remains). That review was paid for by go-granite.com by offering a 20.00 discount for positive reviews. That review was made prior to the falling out I experienced with the owner of go-granite.com. Decide for yourself please check out yelp and review ALL of this company's feedback, it's not pretty. http://www.bbb.org/dallas/business-reviews/granite/go-granitecom-in-lewisville-tx-21000825 BBB Complaint: Delayed delivery and install of granite. We agreed to an estimate of work for 2 granite countertops, 4 backsplashes, 1 granite wall topper and 1 threshold topper for the amount of 1343.66 on 1-6-2014 a deposit was made for the amount of 680.00 on 1-21-2014. We agreed for final measurements to be completed on 2-27-2014. Delivery and install was scheduled for Saturday 3-1-2014. We were informed late Saturday afternoon that delivery and install would be delayed due to a delay on the job scheduled before ours on Saturday. A follow up delivery and install date of Monday 3-3-2014 was made. Due to bad weather we rescheduled for delivery and install for Tuesday. Tuesday morning we were informed that the 3rd party (subcontractor)granite shops saws were "frozen" and this would delay our delivery and install until 3-6-2014. This was a surprise to us as we were under the impression that our granite was cut and ready on Saturday the 3-1-2014. I was told the saws were frozen and until they thawed out our job would be delayed, an offer to install the wall and threshold topper was made and accepted for the afternoon of 3-4-2014 it was never followed through on, also we were told the rest of the order would be delivered and installed on 3-6-2014. Near the end of the day 3-4-2014 I traveled to the 3rd party fabricator to check on our granite order and get a status update because I didn't have a good feeling and was becoming suspicious about my phone and text conversations with the Go-Granite owner ****** ******* as the story had changed a few times. I found the toppers were finished and 1 sink was complete. However the 3rd party told me he was waiting for the delivery of the last slab of granite from the owner of go granite to complete the 2nd sink and the backsplashes. He also refused to install what he had completed of my order saying they don't make multiple install runs on the same order. I requested to take my toppers and the fabricator called ****** ******* the owner of go granite. I informed her while on the fabricators speakerphone the fabricator was waiting for her to deliver the granite so he could complete our order and that it appeared that the saws were running fine and not frozen at all. She agreed to deliver the slab of granite so the delivery and install date of 3-6-2014 could be honored. She agreed to me taking the toppers from the fabricators site so that I could have another company come to my home and complete the shower glass measurements with the toppers in place. I got the toppers home to find they did not fit and could not be set in place to complete the glass measurements. I texted the owner to inform her of the problem. She informed me she would forward info to the 3rd party fabricator. This is the last I heard from ****** the go granite owner regarding the matter on 3-4-2014. I informed her I was willing to help her however I could to get the project completed. I also informed her I would be contacting the BBB if we had no follow through. Desired Settlement We are requesting Go-Granite: 1. Immediately dispatch installers the A.M. of 3-5-2014 to install the toppers that were to be installed on 3-4-2014 which don't currently fit and are at my home. These are required to be installed to move forward with our shower glass measurements, (it takes 5-7 days after the glass measurements are complete to fabricate and install the shower glass.) 2.Get the additional ***(MATCHING)*** slab of granite to the fabricator immediately so he can complete our 2nd sink and 4 backsplashes. (We have been told since 1-21-2014 there exists an additional matching slab that is off site. Despite multiple requests, we have not been able to inspect said slab. We suspect that this slab doesn't exist and is why our project has been delayed.)***(We want to view the slab ***BEFORE*** fabrication in order to insure the 2 sinks and 4 backsplashes match and aren't going to clash in color or pattern.) If said slab does clash in color or pattern with the already cut (1) sink. We want 2 sinks and 4 backsplashes cut from the same slab in order to match. 3. Honor the A.M. 3-6-2014 final delivery and install date for 2 sinks and 4 backsplashes. - http://www.yelp.com/biz/go-granite-lake-dallas?hrid=DVxg0opVAUjfFFm2xXbJdQ Unhappy G. Denton, TX 0 friends 1 review 1.0 star rating 8/23/2012 We purchased granite from Go Granite recently the CS was horrible, would not return emails, calls and etc. The installation of the granite was bad, the seam line (is at the sink which they suggested and we agreed to unbestknown to us that is the worst possible spot to put your seam) is very noticeable, it is wide and not cut straight, along 1 wall there is a " between the wall and granite because it was not cut straight. When I talked to the owner was told that was the way it was, sent pics she told me she would get back to me and still have not heard from her. We have had 3 granite installers come out to try and correct the issues and they told us this must have been done by folks who didn't know what they were doing. I would strongly recommend not using them horrible workmanship and customer service from the owner. So please check around before using them and just as a FYI they will give you a discount if you write good things about them in the review sections of some sites. Richard S. Flower Mound, TX 0 friends 1 review 1.0 star rating 9/9/2011 Counters look great, but the job is not finished. I paid half up front with my credit card. They charged us for the other half without my authorization!! I have called several times and left phone messages and emails, but no reply. Do not use this company. Brandy H. Denton, TX 0 friends 4 reviews 1.0 star rating 7/27/2011 Owner takes no accountability for mistakes...I ordered a backsplash for my kitchen from Go-Granite.Materials were great, but we found out that they bought them at Lowe's. They also hired an external crew at the last minute, because all of their people were out of town. Communication and customer service was a serious problem. They fail to notify you of delays, don't return calls, don't answer e-mails, don't tell you about all of the additional work that has to be done after the initial install. We missed work, had to cancel plans and chase Go-Granite to get our job completed. Had we not made the initial deposit, I would have just found a new company to do it. The owner offers a lot of attitude and blame when you finally do get her on the phone. I was shocked at her behavior - she actually blamed me for the issues because I had requested an additional set of tiles to be added, which she said was not a problem when I called and asked for them. After all of the mishaps with my job and the lack of accountability with the company/owner, I would not recommend this company for any type of work. s. s. Flower Mound, TX 0 friends 1 review 2.0 star rating 12/2/2011 I had the same experience. They are good at selling you, but once they get the deposite, you would not believe the excuses they had. If you have all the time in the world, go ahead, but if you need for promises to be kept, look around some more. Also, insist on keeping the extra granite. You pay for slabs, so keep the extra. you can make cutting boards, stack pieces for cheese and crackers and finger foods. All the nice cheer is for you before you give the deposite! G W. Argyle, TX 0 friends 2 reviews 2.0 star rating 6/24/2011 This company used great materials - just didn't have the customer service together. They missed or just ignored too many appointments/consults with us to determine what work would be done. But they had our deposit so we forged ahead. We even wrote to them after the fact to express our disappointment and they ignored even that!! What jerks John S. Holliston, MA 0 friends 3 reviews 1.0 star rating 8/31/2013 Warning! Warning! Warning! Do not buy from these people!!!!! They do not stand by their product. We put marble in our kitchen and it was gorgeous until we set anything on the countertop!!! If scratched, if stained, it marked, just horrible. We found out later from a reputable and customer caring granite shop that he would NEVER recommend marble in a kitchen. I would have been happy to leave this alone and leave the original message posted to this website but the tactics used by go-granite.com to pull my company, my work, and my integrity into this matter has caused me to have to defend my name and my company. Sincerely, A HONEST Customer: Jerrod Petrovich

Response from Go-Granite.Com
[Members Name] was not present for the template in which Go-Granite showed up promptly! [Members Name] miscalculated his tile and was off on a wild goose chase, yet did not have the courtesy to advise us or be concerned with wasting our time. This meant [members name] job was not ready to be measured, because his tile was not completed! We took the measurements that we could on the vanities and would have to modify the shower pieces on site. I advised that I would try to squeeze him in on Saturday after another "scheduled" granite install to try to help him out with his scheduling problems. I called Saturday morning to advise that we would not be able to fit him in. The following Monday and Tuesday we endured an ice storm and were not able to install due to hazardous weather and advised [members name] we would be there on Thursday, [members name] text back to me was "cool". Come Wednesday [members name] started posting negative reviews the day prior to install! He stopped by the shop wanting the threshold, which I advise he was welcome to take it but would have to lay it sideways, so he could have the glass retrofitted for install. I further advised that it would not fit as the tile was not complete on template day, and we would have to make modifications on site. [Members Name] has posted a favorable review 5.0 star rating Great price and service! I would recommend! with some picture saying " you are what you eat, funny I don't remember eating sexy. (Not sure about that remark??) but we posted anyway on our web site at www.go-granite.com before he started trashing us on the SAME DAY with 1.0 star I would not recommend Go-Granite. Delivery and install was delayed multiple times and we were misled about why. I had to put in a BBB complaint to resolve the issue. The prices are good but there is a reason why.. [Members Name] went on an unwarranted social media frenzy posting negative reviews to as many sites as he could find. Remember this is the day prior to install! We arrived on time Thursday for our scheduled install and [members name] issued Check #1331 paid in full. But Wait. [Members Name] then called advising that his counter looked like a glazed donut! I advised [members name] that the counters were sealed and not to apply more sealer as it had no where to penetrate. I advised [members name] where he could purchase more sealer only sold to the trade trying to help him learn. He then turned the tables advising that we had not purchased sealer from Braxton Bragg. I advised [members name] that was correct that we purchase from a local vendor that only sells to the trade and was merely trying to help him source the sealer for future use. I advised [members name] that I would send a crew by that afternoon to remove his excess sealer that he applied himself, he cancelled advising that his son had a soccer game in Plano and would not be available until Monday, so again we adjusted our schedule for [members name] . I then receive a call Sunday morning that [members name] was going to have to leave town and would not be available on Monday. [Members Name] also advised he was going to purchase a product of his choice to remove the haze himself that he caused. I Advised that it would be fine to deduct (what he caused) from his invoice to ease our pain and move him on his way in which [members name] did. [Members Name] left a modified check in the mailbox as he had STOPPED PAYMENT on this check #1331 for $663.66 that we never deposited because we new what he was up to. All of this for a credit of $8.06 that [members name] caused to granite himself, but the time that we spent with him on this project was a loss. Maybe he should polish up on his own skills/industry. More social skills equals more work. To date [members name] is still posting negative comments on social media sites. I have never encountered a business owner like [members name] owner of Done Right Consulting, LLC posting for work with Linkedin experience includes project management and has a proven track record of being a leader and strong team player and possess the ability to successfully work with difficult clients/end-users could be seriously questioned along with a proven track record as read by his past posted reviews. For a business owner it's great to know that there are lots of Bad Customer Review Sites for us to post our comments at to protect other business owners from people like [members name] !!!!! For this [members name] has earned a 5.0 star rating of his own for being a bad customer. Posted!!!! Often these people will take advantage of one business, and eventually when that business gives them the boot they will go on to another business and do the same thing to that business...until that business finally figures them out! Hopefully as a business owner you will find out ahead of time who these people are and not do business with them. Remember as a business owner you have a right to refuse service to anyone, so we encourage you to do your research and make the decision NOT do business with BAD CUSTOMERS!! Pretty soon these people will realize that we have got their number! They will have one business after the other refuse to do business with them ... which is exactly what they deserve!! Nasty online reviews can lead to lawsuits: Example: defimation of character case :Roseman If a company gives bad service, you might write an online review telling others to stay away. Make sure your comments are factual first. Please see our site www.go-granite.com for a long review list of happy customers! Here are just a few of those reviews posted: 3/15/2014 Go Granite is a great provider of a huge selection of well prices stone. Daney has a designer's eye for colors and style and is a big help in picking the perfect stone for your space. No job is too big or too small for this group they are flexible, fast, dependable and provide excellent customer service. They work within your budget and give you good choices in that price range and never try to sell you on something else. I had 3 different bathrooms done by them with 2 different kinds of stone and everything was flawless on their end. They worked with my time frames and were responsive to all of my concerns and issues. They were real professionals but provided just enough of that warm personal touch that you felt as if you had been helped by a friend in the business. I would use them again and I have recommended them to my friends. If anyone installs marble without knowing how delicate it is then that is there own fault. This is a great company who gives great service and will also give great advice as well as give a customer what they ask for...and what more can you ask for than that. Victoria P. Dallas, TX 4/6/2012 We were very pleased with Go-Granite! Daneya was great to work with and very punctual. She took us to the warehouse to pick out our slab. Daneya has a great eye and really knew what would look great in our kitchen. The workers were also very polite and did a great job. They cleaned up after completing the work and left our kitchen in great shape. I would highly recommend Go-Granite! Marilyn A. Lewisville, TX Sincere Business Owner of Go-Granite.Com
